I really like the feeling I managed to get into this picture. I'm not sure can you sense it through your monitor, hehe, but the original seems like it's full of confident energy to me.
Size A5, took 1,5-2 hours.

Whatever way you think of it, as a colour white sums up all the colours of the world. All the colours originate from white light, and when there's as much of all colours, there will be white.
Alone solid white is soulless and imprisoning, but with other colours it brings out life power and energy. "
- translated from www.varjojenkirja.com, a Finnish site.
I wanted to paint spiritual paintings associated with the spiritual meaning of colours. The urge just suddenly hit me and I did two of them in a row, while usually it takes me two or three days to complete one painting. So here it is, the white spirit. It doesn't represent any single species, I just drew it as I felt it. And yes, the eyes are supposed to be dim. And I love the tones and shapes on the blue background - I'd have hated to attempt solid colour on this, it just screamed for patterns!
For once my rapist scanner did some right to the original piece (the colours are a lot more radiant than in the original, which looks a bit dull compared to the scans - I took two with both colour settings available on my scanner)... Even though, in this version, the colours are even more far away from the truth (brighter) than in the earlier scan. Ah well, you can't get everything you want - in the other scan the colours are more towards the right, but the details are almost non-existant... xD Haha.
Size A5, took about an hour or a bit more, I think.
I am willing to sell the original painting! It costs 5 € and the price includes the shipping in case it's not more expensive than posting it within Finland. The original doesn't have the copyright marks on the right, only my signature which can be seen on the left - but buying this doesn't mean you get the copyright and/or the permission to use the image for advertisement or other ways of getting profit out of it (prints, wallpapers, etc). Before you decide on buying, check out the other scan as well to make sure that it's what you asked for: http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-790696.html

...a very boring pic with very boring title though. </3 But Mordecai is one of those characters which I just need to draw really basicly before I can do anything fun with them... And since I have a lot of fun ideas including him, I needed to do this. And since I did, I wanted to have some fun with it, so I decided to practice better colouring. As you might see, I got bored with his fur, so it's a bit more messy. D: And I'm not that satisfied with this anyway. I messed up a lot. I was wondering for a while should I post it or not, but then I thought I post too little stuff anyway so I should.
Mordecai is an absolutely wonderful character from Tracy J. Butler's web (and nowadays also print) comic, Lackadaisy. It takes place in St. Louis, at 1927. A lot of rumrunning included. Fun fun fun! Check it out here: www.lackadaisycats.com
Eeek I love Mordecai. <3 Such an adorable OCD critter with no sense of humour.
As you can see, Mordecai is (c) to Tracy J. Butler and art is (c) to me, Weirdo. No stealing, please :3

Another of the commissions for Zephyr. This is Ashanti, a hellhound with antlers (obvious).
Gees, I realized that I hate my shading technique with digital work XD I've got to work with it.. Maybe shade with colours instead of being lazy and using the shade tool x) It makes the lightened spots look horrible! Aand the shape of my shadings needs improvement, too. Now it looks... Just bad.

This is Boss Hoss's alter ego/fursona character. He is originally a horse, but since this is a species exchange, he asked himself to be drawn as a red kangaroo instead, so I did. This is my first time drawing a roo and also the first time drawing a furry roo, so it was even more interesting. XD As you can see, I changed the anatomy of kangaroo legs a lot, but didn't make them completely human except for the legs as I would normally do when drawing a furry, don't know why actually. Maybe because roos just have so funny legs I just had to get to play around with them a bit. He should be wearing jeans with that t-shirt but since I couldn't fit jeans on legs like that without it looking horrible I just left them out. I also know very well that roos can't be that colour - I just made him a roo with a furry roo's anatomy and Boss Hoss's colours.
Comments very much appreciated as always!]]>Moonrun by Weirdourn:uuid:7bb716f4-98ce-b465-caa4-7c82b683df0c2009-12-14T12:20:11-08:00Ohh... This got me ages to do. Mainly because I can't afford Photoshop and that way can't use layers (Gimp has them, but they are amazingly hard to use. I did try and failed)... *sigh*
Well, this is a commission and the commissioner asked me to do a digital drawing of their character without a background. I'm kinda glad about that, since backgrounds are a pain in my butt to draw digitally. In fact, I don't like drawing digitally in general, but it's a good skill to have - digital drawings sell best. Moonrun here is a young female wolf, who has been wandering on her own for a while. That's pretty much all I know about her. She has a nice design, too bad the little stripes on her cheeks don't show that well... The image is too small for that (I actually forgot that when I drew this, since I had this 300% bigger all the time when I worked with it to get the details in).

Even though this is horribly late (mainly because I actually managed to lost the painting between finishing and scanning it...), I still think this piece is worth getting onto the blacklist. x) I can always do another piece to get off, so it's not that bad... But I still am ashamed for being late, mainly because like_a_knight had to wait so very long for this. ^^''
So, yes, I am satisfied to the result. I really like how the ashy clouds, fire and lava turned out. And to the character itself. I am a bit ashamed to admit that I forgot his name. XD Ahem. Well, the anatomy is nice, but I messed up the colours a bit - he should be more orange-ish, but when I played around with the shadings etc, I forgot that part.
Well, I had fun and hope that the receiver likes it, too.

I drew Silv's Dusty. She's a bodyguard of some important person, and yes, her other breast is missing. I don't know how she lost it.
I really should practice more on anthro legs. They're amazingly hard for me to draw good-looking/anatomically correct. Any tips and constructive criticism about that is very welcome.
I know the colours (especially with the background) are pretty light, but my watercolours weren't so co-operative. But I still love them. I love traditional painting in general. It was rather nice to try and work with more detail in the background and textures. Marker is my friend. And I think the effect the little drops of light watercolour made to the road look really nice.

These are his/her (don't know) characters Mime (on the left) and Stale. They're (un?)undead wolves tied together with some kind of transparent rope. Stale doesn't seem to like that. And that black thing in front of Stale is Mime's tail. It's supposed to be wagging a bit.

She/he (don't know) wanted me to draw their wolf creature character Marrow in a gloomy forest - completely digital. This is my first image done all with comp, from the very first scetch. And I'm even quite pleased with the result, even though the anatomy could be better and the forest look deeper and gloomier. But ah well, I put really much effort into this, so I think it's ok. And I got a lot of practice, which is even better! ^^

To be honest, I don't like at all how this turned out. I forgot so much stuff that I think I failed miserably. .__.' First I forgot the werewolf shadow at the background (and when I tried to draw it in, it turned out as an epic fail... Had to edit it in with comp. I hate how that thing turned out, it ruins whole image) and then coloured her with wrong colours - made her hair black and dress ordinary green, when her hair was supposed to be dark brown and dress spring green, so I tried to edit the colours on comp to at least somehow match. *sigh* I hope it's now at least something like Ehen wanted it to be.
Comments are welcome, but please, not any kind of criticism right now from anyone else than Ehen herself. I feel bad enough already for failing with this so much.]]>Jolly Prancing by Weirdourn:uuid:58bf544e-1314-c171-b347-6f500e1a23a62009-10-06T06:53:52-07:00I got commissioned by Magical (Pixie) at wajas.com. This is her alter ego, a dobermann being goofy at fields with mountains in the background, as she reguested. I think I made quite good even though watercolours and details don't like each other. I even managed to make a shadow on the ground, yay! XD
Too bad the paper I drew on was so big it didn't fit in the scanner (it's good quality so I wanted to use it, and when I put it in the scanner, I realized it doesn't fit in... There was 1-2 cm over at each sides), it cropped down the tops of the mountains and would have cropped down the copyright markings (there's still Magical's ID number and the rest of my last name & year missing because of the cropping) if I'd have putten it in so that it wouldn't have cropped the mountains... Oh well, I'm still pretty satisfied.

The link's here: http://community.livejournal.com/wolfxchange/
My scanner messed up the colours a bit, and I forgot that red wolves don't have as thick fur as normal wolves. xD Meh, it makes sense she has thick fur since Rana wanted her to be somewhere cold - and so I drew her at arctic tundra.
I had to edit the colours a bit on comp, since the scanner ate up the shadings, but otherwise this is completely hand-made.

Soo, this is Viima, my new lunar character :3 He's part of Raze's gang (for the ones who didn't know, yes, he has a gang) and he's an air dragon. He grew up with his mom (he never got to know who his father is) and his mom died in a hunting accident when he was 10 years old. He's pretty calm, but is willing to protect the ones important to him even if it demands violence.

Soo, this is my alter ego. ^^ I am a polymorph, which means I can shift to any creature's shape I want. Here are my most common forms; in the middle the fox furry, at the upper left the lunar dragon, at the lower left the cat (too big, especially too big head), at the upper right the dragon (I have many dragon forms, since there are many types of dragons), and at the lower right the fox (the one at the backround - and yes, she has proper front legs, she has just "sucked" them under her belly like animals sometimes do) and the wolf/wolfdog. My colours are always the same, and if the animal I don't shift to doesn't have any specific markings (like tiger, leopard or panda), the markings will also be same as the ones on these.
Comments? Constructive criticism is perfectly fine, but please do not flame. I prefer politeness.]]>Being Flirty (big image) by Weirdourn:uuid:eebf39fd-5a83-7735-2ac1-4931aa0d213f2009-08-13T14:44:54-07:00I and Neko-Saphira on DeviantArt (she was DragonxNekoxFire here when she used to be here) have this "pairing" with our lunars, my Raze (the red one) and her Twilight (the lilac one)... I'm not sure should I put the word pairing in the ""s or not, it at least started as a joke but it may end up something more serious, depending on what direction our RPs are going to take. XDD
But anyways, in this picture Raze is suddenly popping up to Twilight's way very flirtily and that seems to disturb her, especially the way he does seems to do so (he's a horrible show-off xD).
Originally I was going to do a rainy backround to the picture so that Raze would have offered his wings as protection from the rain to her, but then I got lazy XD Sorry about that and about the facts that I accidentally filled the pic with copyright markings (I was supposed to do Raze & art (c) (my internet and real name), but then I noticed that I didn't have space for it where I started to write it, and I wrote it with permanent ink) and that Twilight might be too light-coloured - I couldn't find a fitting lilac at the moment, even though I probably would have if I had had enough energy to dig up my bigger box of colour pencils. xP ..but I didn't. And Raze's snout is far too long... It just happened when I drew him from the angled wiew. .__.

It's some sort of a mix of a tapir and an okapi. Or an elephant and a giraffe. I'm not sure yet, but okapir sounded better than elaffe of girephant XD
Okapirs can be used as mounts or draught animals. They are about horse-size, weigh several hundred kilos and have soft-looking, toe-like hooves like elephants and tapirs do, exept that they are splitted to only two toes, like giraffe's or okapi's trotters. They have short tails with a tuft at the end.
Okapirs tend to be pretty easy to handle, but they only stand one handler, so if their handler dies, they'll become wild animals. They are very tender among their own kind and their handler, like elephants. They tend to be afraid of new things, though, and when they are afraid of something, they might be hard to get to go close to it.
It is not suggested to try to get close their infants, since the dams can be very aggressive while protecting their offspring. Okapirs can easily be tamed as adults.
The colour variations of okapir include warm, mostly natural colours with dots, spots and stripes. The domestic okapirs may also have white markings. Rare colour mutations of okapir are black (in bright light the darker markings can be shown), albino, white with black markings and blue eyes and wild piebald. The most uncommon is albino.

I tried using my tablet first time when I did this, and it was a lot more fun than I would have expected! Goodbye, drawing with mouse. XD
The picture also turned out amazingly much better than I expected. (Well, I expected it'd be ugly blob of colors..) I think I did the shading better than I have ever done.
Original scetch is smaller than A5 and it's in my scetch book. I did it over a year ago at my Latin class right in front of the teacher, but she was so enthusiastic about the teaching (and nagging to the bad boys of the class) that she didn't notice anything. :3 I scanned the original, fixed some mistakes, colored, edited and shaded on computer with tablet (program was Gimp 2).
Complete time taken: about 2,5 hours.
I appreciate comments btw x3]]>Asian-type dragon by Weirdourn:uuid:2ed02f30-074b-6b69-45da-99e80929aa472009-07-03T06:46:49-07:00Just a random asian-type dragon. I didn't know how to color it, so I asked my friends to tell some random colours... And I got black (I used dark grey to get the shading to look like something, though), chocolate brown, wine red and pink. It's just some random herbivore thing I doodled back in my physics class (the teacher was dang boring, so I did what I used to do to all boring teachers - "revenged" by ignoring the teaching, drew and still got top-class grades). The scetch had been lost for dozens of times and then I got lazy. XD But now it finally is colored, yay!
This is Jirkaren (J pronounced a bit like Z, but it can be recognized as a J), the insane king of the land of my forum RPG (currently only in Finnish, when I've got all pictures of the finnish version done, I'll start translating the pages into English). As you can see, his body is almost completely scarred - his enemies tortured him by bursting strong acid onto him when he was young. That even caused some of his skin to completely fall off from the parts where it was weakest (nose, aroung his horns). After that he has held a strong grudge against a lot of other dragons and that grudge drew him insane. Yay 8D
This picture is very old (maybe even a year or more XD), I'll have to draw a new one of him as soon as I can, but currently I've got other, more important stuff to do. :3

I'll redo Sanbi completely now when I have deleted Pain from my stories. She'll be my RP character from now on, and I'll use her in my own RP.
