I do have a DA, but I'm hardly ever on it, I prefer this site. I mostly use DA for keeping in contact with friends from art club. (I've just started using Furcadia though, it's fun!)

YES. YES I DID! I get all the free coffee I can handle, AND money! Plus I come home stinking of the stuff too! You'll laugh at this, but on my first day, they locked me out of the back door in some twisted initiation ceremony! I was not amused...

I HATE INITIATIONS. They serve no purpose other than to piss people off. Grrrrr....

That sounds like an excellent choice. But you might want a back up person just in case that doesn't work out. Then you also have to find a way to make it look like an accident. :P Then afterwards you can ask all innocent-like if this counts as your breaking of something. And to make it even better try to have a blunt object in your hand when you ask them. >:D MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

It's just a random line people say, probably instead of 'hello'. I don't think it has any real meaning!

And as for me, I'm in and out of hospital with my grandma, looking after my sick brother, baking cakes (and eating the leftover mix!), applying for voluntary work at my local library and desperatley trying to think of something to draw! (nice quiet life, eh?)

As for me, I have finally finished my first round of tests, but in studying for them I am 8 chapters behind in my reading. I have to have all of them read by Monday, and I have yet to have the time to start. Work is going well, I still haven't heard if I have received a promotion or not, I was told that management would know by Monday. :P I can think of thousands of things to draw, but don't have the time to do so. :( Other than that it is same old, same old.

With your promotion, were you meant to be told this Monday, or next Monday? (lazy employers!) These chapters aren't too long, are they? You could be able to catch up if they aren't insanely long!

Oh, and to top off my 'wonderful time' IT'S RAINING. AGAIN. LIKE IT ALWAYS DOES. We get about a week of nice weather a year, if that (I'm not joking) and the rest of the year is like winter!

I found out today that I did not get the promotion. Today has been a string of bad news. I will live though.
Thankfully the chapters are not too long so I have that in my favor. I just hope that I get these done.

I think things are getting better for me, the manager of my favourite coffee store wants to see me for an interview! And it looks good too, as he thinks it's likely I'll get the job, because I can work absolutley any time needed! HAPPY DAY!

I honestly don't know what I would take pictures of, there's not much to photograph in the village where I live, other than sheep and horses! (or shots from the hilltop, I live on a hill :|)

A village is tiny compared to a town, with only essential services like a Post Office and local shop and possibly a village pub. They often have cruddy bus services too...*cough-southowram-cough*

And to confuse you further, a hamlet is like a tiny village, but with a population of less than 200! Blink and you'll miss it!

I don't know if we have villages. I would assume there are villages and hamlets here too.

We did drive through what looked small enough to be a village, but it didn't look very green...

Well, we were on a coach through Arizona, heading to the Grand Canyon, so I don't really know what it's name was!

I'm sure in Arizon there are some villages, after all it is not a spot where too many huge cities and towns can emerge.
