School is hard.

I know you're teasing, I thought I'd play along a bit!
Work is hard...especially now it's Christmas-shopping time! I'm practically GLUED to the coffee machine, wishing dearly that people would bugger off and get their skinny gingerbread lattes and one-shot decaff cappuccinos somewhere else!
How come school is hard? Are exams coming up?

Final exams are next week. Although I did get some good news, granted at 6 in the morning *can we say not a morning person boys and girls*, I don't have to take one of my finals. My grade in the course was high enough to exempt me from the test. ^_^ Go, hard work!

Eeesh, final exams, no pressure then? but, yes GO YOU with your hard work! :D
It's a shame that doesn't happen over here, I could have skipped a whole 2hr history exam!

It is a rarity that a professor will allow you not to take a final, since most of the final exams are not cummulative. But I will tell you I worked my @$$ off for this grade. I have never had to struggle so hard to pull up my grade before. It was stressful and exhausting, and I'm glad it paid off.

Well, I do hope it pays off! You must have done a cracking bit of coursework to get out of an exam, it really is unheard of over here!
I've always hated exams, I never did well in them, yet I got perfect coursework marks, and could babble on for hours about whatever I just studied! Oh and that history exam was on the economy of Fascist Italy...the sheer joy of it...

I have so many friends that are the same way. They can get great grades on homework but freeze on tests. I can say I haven't ever had that problem. But I struggle with homework, isn't that just nuts?

A little nuts, maybe? I think it's because you can panic in exams, and everything flys out of your ear!

Heehee...I usually sit there and look at my homework notes thinking, "I have no idea what these notes mean". Only after the professor explains it to me, again, do I understand it for the test.

I wrote too many notes, then had no idea which ones were relevant for the homework! The notes were also covered in demonic doodles...I hate to think what my teachers made of them... ":O DEMON WORSHIPPER!!!!!111ONE!!11"

I used to draw Nekos to help me with my notes. I would draw a neko that had something to do with the notes. ^-^

At least yours were useful! Somehow I don't think a fire spewing demon-dog thing was any good in a biology lesson, apart from that one where me genetically modified bacteria to glow in that dark!

LOL...no I suppose fire-spewing hellhounds aren't useful in biology. But at least it makes your notes more interesting.
And don't worry about your teacher thinking you are a demon worshipper...we know better. ^-^

I could do geometry, but that is about it.

I was great at algebra and geometry, but statistics threw me, I could never understand histograms or time/distance charts...despite being in the top ability set...

Yet, I had trouble in my stats class too. I just didn't get it. But I passed. ^_^
