lol, no, kurogane has never ever in all of those years (?) called fai by his name ;_; never. (I'm surprised you didn't notice. is it weird that i noticed that...? o__o) he just calls him 'that guy' or something to that effect. but, it's not really exclusive to fai. he's always called sakura 'the princess' and syaoran 'the kid.' (and of course, mokona is 'the manju bun.') as a matter of fact, the only people he's ever called by name, if i remember correctly, are tomoyo and souma... i think.
 
NOOOOOO~! the dark side~! but....yeah, a little, i s'pose T^T but it's really only kurofai fanfics and a few doujin here and there (though i've only ever found one really smutty doujin before, the rest are sitting on my computer...Warudakumi, Hatenkou, Cute Father, Hoshi ni Negai o...but they're all raws, so i don't understand ;_;)

i'm such a hypocritical idiot, aren't i? okay, so all explicit yaoi stuff i've been involved with was purely kurofai, but i've been reading a lot of shounen ai stuff lately. heh. within the last month or so i've picked up:
~Legal Drug (more CLAMP shounen ai. yay.)
~Kyou Kara Maou (okay. that was a waste of a LOT of time. damn gay jokes weren't even funny; they were just stupid, imo.)
~LOVELESS (i was already watching it, but i just picked up the manga.)
~Princess Princess (that, too, was a waste of time. it was funny at some times, but overall, just dumb. i should have judged it more by the OP and ED...argh.)
 
dude, that's like ALL of the BL series i've ever read/watched in my life, in only one month <.< (oh! except for the fact that TRC and xxxHolic were both listed on wikipedia as BL series at one point, but they seem to have been deleted now. lol.) the dark side my be coming, very very soon i'm afraid.
 
 
oh, and in regards to ch 131, yes. no fai, unfortunately. well, unless you count the back of his head? lol i wondered if CLAMP would include him after ch 130. haha, i find it funny that they didn't even grace us with the front of his head. but i wasn't too dissapointed, since i wasn't expecting them to be kind to the fangirls in the first place :)

omg i was laughing so hard when i read that, my mom was wondering if i was okay, and when i was trying to tell her, hall i could manage was "A-attacked...by a s--hahaha--a sea--hahaha....a s-s-..." XD i never could get it out. i was laughing too hard.
 
O____O YES. chapter 130. as i mentioned, my brain died when i read that. seriously. i think i remember reading it on a sunday...yes, it was sunday, because all day long at school on monday, people were looking at me funny because i really had a big stupid obnoxious smile on my face and kept giggling every five minutes. SO brain dead.
 
my reaction when i actually read the chapter was basically a lot of hyperventilating and a little bit of chuckling. i would have been very depressed about it, had i not been so excited. lucky for me, the excitement still hasn't warn off quite yet. the chuckling was mainly because of fanfiction. how funny is it that in sooooo many kurofai fics, the first and/or only time they call each other by name is when they are, er....shall we say, getting it on. (haha and that's the first thing that runs through my mind at a time like that...*sweatdrop*) but then that makes it, perhaps, a bit more depressing? ah, shoot, we still have kurogane, though, who hasn't said fai's name yet... and i wonder about that, too. i wonder if kurogane would never call fai 'fai' until he knows fai's real name? ("my name's a little long, so you can call me fai"<--vol 1)
 
i think i heard about the translation you're talking about with the ashura thing...but in the place where i read it, it was translated differently, and everyone's very confuzed. what i read was something about "like the time when Ashura took me out (away)." but i heard something like "the time with Ashura was a lie," and somethng about a promise, too. uh. mybrainhurts... i should go back and re-read. i probably was in so much shock, i misread something...
 
haha i wish i could relate to your skin-coloring troubles, but, alas, traditional methods only for me. even if i had a tablet and a good photo editing program, i imagine using photoshop/paintshop/whatever photo editing program is really hard and takes a reeeeeally long time... but i'm saving up for a tablet. so far i'm at 13 dollars :D (stupid me keeps blowing all her cash on manga >.<) erk. but then i'm turning 14 this month (my golden birthday! yay!) and i can hopefully get a bit of a start from there...

going to jap--GAHWHAT?! awww, no fair! i swear, i'll be the last to ever go T^T darn my financial situation (i went to a small slumber party this weekend and it was only when everyone started talking about all of the vacations they've been on that i realized how poor my family is in comparison. one of my friends, an only child, lives in a house with four bedrooms. my family of five lives in house with only two and a half bedrooms, and we're having trouble even staying in it ;_;)... my friend who isn't even an "anime/manga person" just won a trip to japan for having good grades or something. she's going next summer, and she's already tired of me hounding her about souvenirs, lol. and i did see a really cool fai pin online, too. 
 
in other news...my dad has discovered the wonders of ebay. the only thing about this new development of TRC is that  i'm a little worried about Fai's mental well-being. i mean...if he gets all mopey i might become a bit depressed. i mean... i know why it bothers Kurogane so badly that he's always got that fake smile, but Kurogane should try to be a bit more understanding; if Fai isn't focusing on smiling, he might break down if you know what i mean. and i wonder if he might just give up the act after all of this...?
 
oh, and one more thing...CLAMP wont be coming out with the next chapter for 2 weeks, and Fai will probably just be unconscious through the next one or two chapters. they will probably be focusing on  one of the two Syaorans or something might happen back in Celes. i'm a little annoyed about the fact that i won't immediately have all of the details of this whole vampire thing explained to me, but at the same time i'm a bit excited to find out what the new Syaoran is like. i hope he's like the Syaoran in Card Captor Sakura. that would be a nice change. but it wouldn't be quite as adorablr if he isn't suddenly getting all red every time Sakura smiles. *sigh* but i suppose she won;t be smiling for a while anyways.

dark angel of light found some scanlations somewhere a couple of days ago and emailed me the link, saying something like "i think you will like this chapter" or "best chapter ever" or something to that effect. but the link was broken. i spent a few hours searching for them on the net, but i kept only getting things like "best chapter ever,"  and i was seriously freaking out. finally she sent me a good link (it probably didn't take that long, but every second seemed to drag on forever). i had invented a new dance which i call the 'i'm waiting for the new chapter of TRC to download' dance. it's somewhere between the 'spider dance' and the 'potty dance.' by the time i finished reading the chapter i had accumulated an exremely large puddle of drool.

Ya. :/ When I read that Shaoran had eaten Fai's eye I was like, "... Ew." But yeah. Ugh. I want chaptire 123 to come out. Well, I want some sort of conclusion when it comes to Fai's personal well-being. I'm a HUGE Fai fan, so when I saw what had happened I literaly was jumping up and now yelling, 'NO! NO! NO!' But thankfully that was at my house. In volume 7, when it first came out, I was reading Fai's 'death scene' and in Borders I started doing the same thing. XD;; I got quite a few odd stares from that one...

Anyway. Yes. Fai is an enigma. He says he's not going to do magic, but then he does it anyway. Multiple times. Well, maybe twice; once in LeCourt and then to save Shaoran's mind or heart or whatever. But that's why we love him. And it doesn't hurt that he has sexy hair, too :D

i gather lots of useless info from wikipedia. i mean, i don't really browse it all that often, but i retain lots of tidbits. like, for instance, the USA has 18 different secret services. lol. letssee here... Norway has... three. heh. also, TRC can mean...Tranz-something-ia Railway Corp if i remember correctly. it was something like that. ^_^
 
also i remember things from school. like in minnesota during the late 1800's there was some railway strike (i forgot the actual name), in which a union was formed by a man named Eugene Debbs, who viewed the owner of the railroad, James J. Hill, as a "villain", who in turn viewed Debbs as a "troublemaker". this was a completely useless bit of information, on which there wasn't even a test. *sigh* i wonder if i will remember this for the rest of my life?

no, there was something in the bible, too...the show was, like, 'bible myteries' or something. i guess there was a new predidction or something for 2012. it was one of thoses. i think it was 2010 that there's supposed to be some gigantic earthquake in L.A. here. whatever, i don't live there, so i don't really care all that much. that was all they really said about predictions, though. more or less irrelevant in norway, i suppose ^__^. well, except for the whole end of the world thing. i never thought it would happen during my lifetime lol *shrugs*

ohhhhh, that theory makes sense. heh, i had no idea, as i had only read the del ray translation for book one. (it's currently the only one i even own, except for book eight which has been commandeered by a friend T-T) grr, those nincompoops! don't they know that sometimes these things are important later?!  i'm surprised that they didn't mention it in the 'translation notes' section. anyways,i was just sharing my worries. i warned about the senseless rambling ;P lol
 
how long is x/1999 so far? i think i've heard that somewhere, too, but maybe not... i had no idea they were even still writing it :P why am i so ignorant? i don't know. i haven't read x/1999 yet, but it is on my 'to read eventually before the end of the world in, what was it, 2010? 2012? (have you heard about that? i saw some show on discovery or history channel last week about how there's some code in the bible that predicts stuff. not that i'm at all religious or anything) but i probably wont get around to it anytime soon.

:) honest, i support the kurofai relationship, even though i'm indeferent to shounen ai in general. basically...i am con pointless yaoi. it's just stupid in my opinion. but i view shonen ai not as a general thing, but the same way i veiw het; no two relationships are the same. there are some i support and some i don't. personally, i'm all for the faixkurogane pairing, and i think that those apposed to it simply because they're both guys need to grow up. plus, clamp is known to do that kind of thing anyways, so they should accept it. :)
 
awww, i don't have a deviantART account, but i feel somewhat flattered that you might ask (it's a lot of good artists who hang out on that site). XD if you want to see it, i think i might upload it someday (i'll get a few opinions first but it really is quite ugly. the hair is nice, but that's it.)
 
and on the topic of kuro-rin and fai.....(past this point is mostly outrageous rambling)
.....as the story was going before all of the--quote--BAD STUFF--end quote--started happening, if the gang just randomly happened upon kurogane's world, do you think he would have stayed there, putting his quest behind him? ("no, froofy_hair, he wouldn't; he would stick with fai.") exactly. BUT!! what if clamp killed off fai (*inhuman fangirl shriek*)? if clamp killed off fai, kurogane would definately stay in his own world. this would mak things much easier and less complicated for clamp, bringing the series closer to its end. BUT!! there is still the whole king ashura element which has yet to be brought into the light. this is a glimmer of bittersweet hope in the midst of this dark, dreadful theory of mine. plus, clamp, as far as i know (i have only read a few of their series), isn't prone to

yes, i've been reading the trc scanlations. eeeeek!!!!!! i found a good msn group with low-but-readable quality scanlations which are cought up with the release in japanese and don't require downloading. 'tis great. XD
 
i'm soooooo depressed about syaoran!! NOOOOO (i like syaoran and sakura together almost as much as i love fai)!! and even MORE depressed about FAI!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! T_T but kurogane, though i know this isn't huge or anything, really did surprise me (i forgot which chaper it was) when he just randomly started talking about tomoyo with that one dude (forgot the name) when he was asking about seeing the future. i mean, this is kinda like....surprising. i guess it is a good example of how much more open to people in general kurogane has become because of his escapades with the gang. i don't know, maybe i'm just being weird.
 
yeah, about host club, i just got back from the local bookstore about ten minutes ago, and my step-dad bought me vols 1-6 as well as some other manga. .....O.o....just like totally out of the blue. sweeeet :D plus he bout me a fortyeight pack of prismacolor pencils, too. double O.o! i'm soooo happy! i'm gonna try to step up my coloring, uh, "technique"!! yay!

fye/fai/fay=fai (it is spelled in three acceptable ways ;) )
the fai pic was less detailed 'cuz i only had book one for reference, so i had to use many pics. sadly, i soon realized that i had forgotten his long black gloves, since he wore different clothes in the hanshin republic and always wore his coat in book 1. the other pics i drew from trc were full color wallpapers/ book covers, except the syaoran one, which was a floating head...not my best work... :P

thanks for the comments! i draw syaoran and sakura because they're so much easier than fye/fai/fay, and i just plain old...kuro-puu...well, i like him, but not as much as the others...welll...idk. i'll probably draw him soon..., and mokona isn't chalenging enough. haha, i just got your other comment. my technique for colored pencils is most often utilized by the younger among us humans...in the range of two to eight years of age...press as if your life depends on it!! XD

Ah, I'm flattered that you enjoy my story. As for Karu, he has black hair that reaches about to the middle of his calves and is always worn in a ponytail, oh, an the tips of his hair are blue. On my pictures, he's featured a few times, but he's colored in, "Brotherly Love" He's the paler one. The other is Kono. You'll meet him later x.x

OOOOOOOOH (about the cell painting thing) lol yeah i use alot of "hard" colours for shading, and i don't use the smudge tool, its so annoying i find lol. for faces i use soft shadows and soft highlights but for hair the colours r much more dramatic ^^ i understand what u mean now lol its not hard to do, its exactly like what ur doin, cept with different colours :S lol and "oh........" about the eskimo thing lol i really had no idea! i THINK up here (in canada) there ARE some eskimoes, like in nunavut or w/e, but i'm not so sure either ^^;; i;ll probably fail geography and history in highschool X_X ahh well.

Ha ha, yeah, I get a lot (luckily I finished off most of the load) of requests and art trades, but I enjoy doing them. The people in this site really appreciate art, so I guess that's why there's so much requests.

But the reason why I want to stop is because it's cutting into my time, and I never make my own pictures anymore. So that's why people on this site sort of limit it. I see you only accept art trades now... Good. But personally, I like requests more (for in the past some people haven't put up their share of the deal).

Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for more of your stuff. I'm hoping for more great artwork from you.... :D
