My, my, look how late in the year it's gotten. And still no working scanner over here. I had so many ideas and plans, and life just keeps crossing its arms and saying "NOPE, you still have this to take care of before you progress." Needless to say, I've been quite busy since my return to the good ol' U.S. of A. Artwork, as usual, has taken a bit of a back seat to work/personallife/sleep/anythingelsereally. I do aim to change that though. In the next month or so I'll finally have the financial means to invest a little more into my creative side. That means more drawings. Better equipment. Actually using software. "BUT MARK, YOU ALWAYS SAY YOU'RE GOING TO DO THIS STUFF AND YOU NEVER DO!!!!1!!" Well I've been really goddamn busy for like 4 years now so suck a dick! Now shoot is finally calming down again and I'm starting to get those awesome ideas creeping back up into my head.

Haha, almost, but so much classwork just feels like tedious busy-work these days, especially in English class. I also get just about one month before I'm shipped off to Navy's basic training, too.

Good luck with basic! From what I hear it's not too bad for the Navy but I'm sure it will still test you. Just remember why you're there and that no matter how bad it may suck at times, it will eventually. What MOS are you going to do in the Navy?

We'll do our best! We're all pretty good at our jobs so we'll be fine I think.

Thank you! I'm not expecting it to be too terribly bad, but the hardest part for me is going to be the whole waking up early part.
For the Navy, we have NEC, Navy Enlisted Classification, and my rating is in Nuclear Power. My exact rating is decided at Nuke school, after I get a feel for what I do best in. I'm fairly certain I'm going to be on a submarine, though, either that or an aircraft carrier.

94, which is ironic because I got a 96 on the practice one and I did a crap-ton of studying in-between.

Yeah, though I'm actually hoping to be a writer later in life. I'm definitely not going to make as much money, but it'll be a whole lot more laid-back as a career. Though who knows, I might try to look for work at a power plant after I get back to keep myself afloat at first. What do you want to do after your time as a Recon Medic is up?

Writing would be cool but it'll be tough and you'll need another job to support yourself unless you have someone who will support you while you write.

I have a few things I want to do but I might look into becoming a physical therapist. It's either that or maybe something in law enforcement. I'd be a good candidate for a SWAT team or something along those lines. Also, doing contract work in warzones would be an option, although I don't think my future wife would appreciate that.

Yeah, though I am working on a few materials now (whenever I can actually find time to do them), and though I've rewritten a few, and especially this one that I've been working on the prologue for about four years. I tend to write with a particular theme in mind, then develop the story around that, though I've realized longer, chapter-based narratives can't exactly be written like a short story, many of which I've written already (ones I should probably keep uploading here for people to see...).

Ha ha, sounds a bit odd you either want to help in healing people or help in subduing others. I won't judge you for it, though.

Haha I suppose it does seem strange. The truth of the matter is I just want to do something I find important. I can't go back to working dead-end jobs for greedy companies, busting my @$$ all day so that they can make more money. I need something more out of life, something fulfilling.

Yeah, I'm engaged right now. We met on here actually a long long time ago. We were good friends for the longest time and eventually that grew into more. And our relationship just kept growing and growing until we decided one day we were going to marry each other.

Yeah, I think I could make a pretty good Fili and Kili. : D I've been wanting to do some fantasy based stuff anyway. I've been playing Skyrim and watching Lord of the Rings so I have a lot of inspiration.

I'd like you to draw Dante from Devil May Cry (1,3, or 4, whichever you'd rather draw) about to fight one of the dragons from skyrim in a snowy mountain setting. Most of it can be greyscale except for the red in Dante's clothes and perhaps red eyes for the dragon.

Where I live in the states there's a large mountain that has a few good spots so I'm going to go try it out. C:

Well we usually go out to Afghan villages and question people about the Taliban, or we'll go out and reconnoiter an area we'll be operating in to see what's going on there.
And I know how you feel, she definitely deserves some hugs. Hopefully some day I'll make my way to Finland and I'll be able to give her one in person.

Yep, I did exactly that! I let the front of my board dig in when I was turning and I ended up doing front flips down the slope. I'm pretty sure I had a concussion after that. xD
Haha that's how it was where I lived before I joined the military. So flat.

Eh, my job is dangerous but it's not as bad as it used to be. The fighters here aren't really interested in fighting us anymore because they know they'll lose. And they also know we're leaving soon so they're probably just going to lay low until then.

I've met two people from FaC so far, it's pretty awesome. C: I just need to meet NinjaChan and I'll be complete. We skype semi-often though so we know each other really well like two people who have met in real life.

I was thinking about the Veva, it's a school that you can join at age 16 and when you're 22 you finish and you are sure about the fact that you get a job in the army. So I might do that. But I think it's also really handy. You learn things that are actually useful.
I guess it's also because of the fact that my father was a scout, my uncle is something important in the Navy. I'm not sure what rank he is. But it's something that is like, way up there. Haha. My sister is probably joining the Navy as well. I'm not sure what i want to do though, maybe the navy.. I really don't know.

Being a scout is pretty cool, that's pretty much my secondary job. : D I'm a medic attached to a scout platoon and most of the time I'm doing scout stuff.

I don't really know for sure what a scout actually does. He only tells me about the time that he was driving soldiers all over the freaking place.

I actually did my first outdoors this winter in Austria. Was really really painful, they sent me of some sort of black trail .. I will never forgive them, haha. I've also been to Germany in January. It's really relaxing once you know how to do it.

Try looking it up on YouTube.(sorry I can't give you a link using my Wii's internet channel) It's basicly a game of getting to a destination as quick as possible, climbing over obsticals and such. Professionals work out for it.

You need an internet router. Preferably one that can give you wireless internet. You use the WiFi on your Wii don't you? If you can buy a wireless internet adaptor for your X-Box it will connect to a wireless router just like the Wii does. If not then you will need to actually attach an ethernet cable from your X-Box to your router.

It's looking better but there's still a little more you can do to make it look perfect. You should shade the areas behind the swords instead of dulling them into single colors. The swords should be truly transparent.

Basically, your stories are a little too straightforward. You should take more time writing about the little details. For example, you should write a little more about how the places in the story look and how the characters look. When you wrote this, you kind of assumed that everyone reading it would know what you're talking about, but it'll make the story better if you write it thinking that people won't know anything about what you're writing.

Your stories are starting pretty decent but you have too much dialog. You should have paragraphs describing the scenery and the characters and the character's emotions that don't come out in the dialog.

About the line art - that good to know, just make sure you do the lines with pencil first before the pen, since regular pens aren't erasable. in the pass - I messed up a lot of the time just going for it pen first think I saved time, but no, it almost never worked out correctly and I'd have to restart.

lol, well, all and all - My hands are not naturally stable enough to draw clean lienart on the computer like almost all skilled ones do. I'm a quick sketcher; that once I have it down, I paint over the lines and everything, I'm not a neat artist, until I get into the refining stage of the art, and then that's when I start to modify the details.

But when I want to do line art like that New horizon X pic, I just draw my character with pencil then when I'm satisfied with the results, I trace over it with a regular good ol' pen. Then after the ink drys, I erase all the pencil lines - then I'm left with the ink line art. Then after I scan it into my computer, open the image into my progem, and I adjust the Contrast/lighting of the image, and paint over all the small mistakes. And that's it.

Hmm, I'm a what I believe below regular 20 years of age girl who came from a harsh-hard-life background, but that's best not talked about since it's passed. Currently, I'm trying to get my own car and job to live on my own. and as well as better schooling. I Currently live in with my mother's home for now. In my free time, I'm a X series artist, since the personalty of X drew permanently me in back in 2004. lol, this is going to sound corny, but first time I saw X was in the opening of the US version of Command Mission. And I was like looking at the screen with my face:

Personalty wise, I've notice X has much in common with my own basically. Exsuce how nerdy I may come across, but I grew up with a wholesome deep interest in robotic like creatures, or 'synthetic life forms' of films I grew up with since I was small, like the terminator series' and now anime (especially Ghost in the Shell,) As well as an fondness of Rock music. So the Rockman, or Megaman series has fit me so perfectly. And now my current dream is to get into Capcom of Japan, and reincarnate the now dead X series. I also grew up with Nentendo's Mario, so I deeply enjoy almost any from Nentendo, especially the 3D Zelda and Metroid games.

My mother wants to move back to her family in the Philippines, I'll be a step closer. Just gotta work on learning Japanese ways and speech when I possible. Well, it's late here, now I better get going or elce I'll be busted, lol. I'll try to reply again this coming day. <3

I'm mostly active in deviantART, and sometimes SheezyArt, I would of BEEN left this site long ago if I didn't have a few companions/fans here.

Currently I'm banned off full internet activity until a few weeks more. My parent wants me to focus on other 'new' matters, so I'm not allowed to be posting much around if any.

To be honest, handling art programs is much more about know how then skill. Once you look up a few tutorials over the internet, (their not a hard to find using Google,) everything else is easy enough.
