Oh yeah I guess that makes sense. And he is pretty cool, the way he messes with Light and is vaguely difficult but still nearly buddies with him. He's an interesting character. And yay, another Light fan!! Well, a lot of internet ppl like him, but I don't think anyone I know in rl does -_-'

Let's see...

1: Light FTW!!! He's so awesome and diabolical and crazy and conniving
2: Ryuuzaki. Also interesting, but not as much as Light, and, when he's the protagonist (while Light's memory is gone, I mean) you realize how conventional he actually is. I love 'im, but he's got nothing on the mindtrip that is Light as the star.
3: Misa. Happy, crazy, devoted, cute, clever but just not as much so as L or Light
4: Ryuk
5: Matsuda. Very underappreciated, even by L. Brave, just a little foolhardy and not all that bright.
And I just don't really think much about any of the other characters. Maybe Light's dad could be #6, he's pretty cool for an old dude. And yeah, Near is weird. Mello is kinda cool, I don't really know what i think of him *shrugs* I was going to cosplay him b/c my hair's really similar and he's not as overdone, but I really don't want bangs again, so now I'm leaning more towards Lavi from D. Gray-Man.

Why? Ryuk's cool, just not a usual fave. Personally, I think Light totally rules, but most people seem to hate him just cuz they like L more, and hey, L rocks, but not as much as Light, and even Misa deserves a better fanbase than she has. Matt on the other hand, can go die, oh wait, he already did! Nah, Matt's cool, it's just the obsession with him couldn't be much more ridiculous if it tried.
