Yeah! What happened to the crystal? AND the left out Durza giving Eragon the scar on his back! That is a MAJOR plot device in the second book. Heh. I'd just LOVE to see those idiots c=scramble for ideas when they do Eldest. Hehe. Saphira's wings weren't ugly, but they were way off from the book. Feathers?! Come on! s*squeals* I just now saw the movie Eragon yesterday! It's SO awesome! Though I was kinda ticked off at all the mistakes they made. Since nobody in my family has read the book except me, I'll just rant right here, if you don't mind.1: Saphira grew fast, but not THAT fast
2: They didn't find out Brom was a Dragon Rider until he died
3: They left out Solembum! T-T
4: Durza's death was cool, but WAY off. Do you remember that shadow dragon in the book? Cuz I don't.
5: Arya was unconsious from the time she was rescued to when the Varden healed her.
6: They forgot the Twins! (I hated the Twins, but still.)
7: How come Arya didn't have pointed ears?!
8: They didn't really put much depth into Murtagh. Grrr.
Okay, I think that's it. But Zar'roc and the diamond tomb scene were very cool. Overall, the movie rocked.

1: EXACTLY!! and she didn't chose her own name it was Eragon who named her Saphira2: and his horse was supposed to be white (or grey, not grey as in pencill-coloured, but grey as in white fur, mane and tail and black points) xP
3: THEY DID!!!THOSE $/(#$%&/"#$&!!!
4: definetly NOT xP that "shadow dragon" was the top of overusedness Galbatorix is the only one supposed to have a dark, big, strong dragon.
5: unconcious and useless xP besides she was too... nice in the movie she was a lot meaner in the book XD
6: the twins and the drawves! D:
7: nor ponted ears nor her trademark black hair!! xP
8: I know! D: and he looked emo! not that I have something against emo (I just don't like it but I don't go disctiminating) but for a semi-medieval epic movie he looked to modern
it was cool but it would have been awesome if they had been more loyal to the book xP and Saphira's wings were ugly they were descrived as having a thin, allmost transparent membrane. allso the book ending would have looked amazing, with Saphira busting trough the precious gem and the fire and everything! it would have been awesome =)
