-make the request interesting(not I have this character with long brown hair who wears a green T-shirt and blue jeans, could you draw her), or allow me some creative control since I love designing things.

update 28th April 2006- I haven't been here for ages and am horrified at the standard of my stuff on here. With any luck i should have some new stuff up soon.

BullsnakeI think it has more to do with the grain of paper than anything. A good grade of pencil is always helpful though. For pencils in my pencil shading drawings (for example the Heather pic, and the Goku one) I used a few mechanical pencils with .5 size leads in them. My main one has an H lead, and the other support pencils had HB and B or F (can't remember). I also used a tortillion to blend the shades.

The paper I used was very smooth. I used paper that was supposed to be for graphic art and ink art. "Paris Bleedproof Paper for Pens" is what it's called.

I use Bristol Board for my comic drawings though, it's a lot like the PBPFP paper I just mentioned only it's a lot heavier and holds ink better (it's also a lot more expensive than the PBPFP paper).

Hope that helps! ^_^
