Well then, okay.... I assumed it was sideways because there was nothing on the picture (no sigs or anything) to imply that it was a right-side up image of a sideways subject, rather than a sideways image of a right-side up subject. You follow?

Tip: When you do fanart of anime or game characters, you need to use the subcats for that character, this helps keep things organized in the categories and such, which in turn makes it easier for visitors to find exactly what they're looking for. Thus, a picture of Kingdom Hearts Sora, for example, doesn't just go in Games>Kingdom Hearts, it goes in Games>Kingdom Heats>Characters>'Sora' .
FAC is pretty big and there are large fanart followings for various games and animes, so remember the rule of thumb: Be as specific as you possibly can about the picture. If it's of a single character from a series, search for a subcategory for that character. If it's of a couple, then look for a "couples/groups" category. Or in general, you can look through the available subcats just to get to know what they are.
