I must say; there was a nice comination of sweet and humorous moments throughout this chapter. Like Po's little "It's the end of the woooooorrrrld!" outburst. That had me in peels of laughter!Also, that one little moment where Shifu showed quite a bit of affection towards Kurisu by allowing her into his room at three in the morning was extremely touching. ^^ Same with Shifu giving Oogway a hug from behind. So cute! I love scenes like that! Teehee!

Aww!!! ^^ Both the beginning scene between Shifu and Kurisu, and the appearnce of the little tiger cub were brilliant! Positively gorgeous! Had me grinning like a goof-ball practically the whole way through the chapter and squealing at the cuteness of it all.Although... I now feel sorry for poor Shifu. I know exactly how it feels to be ignored like that. It's harsh. And it sounds as though he's going to get beaten up for it! Oh noes...

Whoa... that was... deep. Very, very deep. That was a really impressive insight into what exactly happened after the rebel of Tai Lung. Poor Shifu. Poor Oogway aswell. They have both lost so much. At least they still have one another, and it is good to know that the both of them are on their feet once again.
A truley brilliant chapter here! :D Hopefully Kurisi doesn't get into too much bother if Shifu does discover that it was her that read the scroll. And stained it! :O

I know, I tried to make it as deep and emotional as I could. It's easy to make it more detailed when you use one of the characters as a narator.They still have each other, yes. As you can see; they are trying to mend their relationship back to what it was when Shifu was younger! ^^

Obviously! ^^It's really hard to tell, considering the fact that Shifu is completely intolerent of sentiment and would only become really emotional and loving at certain times. Plus, Kurisu thinks she's nothing but a huge nuisance to everyone, she sometimes thinks no one likes her.

It is not!Exactly, later in Glimpses Of The Past, Oogway calls Shifu "Fu" as a name of endearment, later in Wisdom From Heaven he will also call him "Fu". However, if he's mad at Shifu he will say sternly "Shifu." In GLimpses Of The Past he will only call Shifu..Shifu if he's upset.
No really, if she lightly lays her teeth on you, they'll go right through your skin.

Looks can be very much decieving! Hehehe, this chapter is pretty much a lesson on that!Kaeru's fangs are actually so sharp that if she lightly touches a tree trunk with them, her teeth will go right through! (She actually has two tails! That will be revealed in the next chapter!)
*gigglegigle* Kurisu's usual personality is like that, if she know she deserves an apology, she will not listen untill she gets that apology! (and a lollipop apparently.....XD)

Oh! That explains the whole ordeal with Risu calling a dog a frog! I will never get over how utterly adorable that little flashback was. Well done with that! :DOoh... sound's like Kurisu's destiny has been revealed XD I can't wait to find out more about what is in store for Kurisu and the Yari of the Japanese Bakaneko (that name sure is a mouthful heehee).

I must say; I aggree with you completely. Oogway's personality was done very well in this chapter. You definitly had his wisdom knuckled with the whole "apple tree" thing. Good job! :DI loved the interaction between Shifu and Oogway during the flashback, with Shifu unleasing his anger on those boulders. You did a great job portraying the emotions in that part.
As for the mouse, becuase of Shifu and Oogway getting all defensive, I kind of guessed that it wouldn't be anything of great threat. I thought it might have been Kurisu or Po... or both of them ^^
Anyway, I can't wait for the next chapter! I think I know who the visitor is! But I'm not going to give my hopes up. Chances are, you'll surprise me as always teehee.

I figured Oogway would think Shifu represents an apple tree.As you may have guessed, the flashback was after Tai Lung rebelled. I figured Shifu's grief would develop into uncontrolable furry at that point.
I could really imagine both masters bursting out lauhging at the prospect of their "threat" being a mouse!

Hmm... I'm not sure what level Oogway's on, but whenever I think of Shifu, I don't really see him as being an apple tree. Then again... I don't see him as being any kind of tree. Man! All this philisophical mumbo-jumbo is confusing the stuffing out of me!I knew it! I knew it was after the incident with Tai Lung! Haha! XD

Provided there are going to be future chapters. Yes, I read that little Author's Note of yours and I have one thing to say: WAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! *Cries**Sniff* Well... this was a good chapter none the less. Off to read the next chapter!!

Oh yes! *gigglegiggle* Everyone loves making Shifu suffer! XD Wu Lian will be giving him hell! Don't worry..I will never abandon Wisdom From Heaven, nor Glimpses Of The Past!XD, As I said in the author's note (uh..at the end of the chapter) the tickle attack was meant to lighten up the mood after the previous heart breaking chapter. It needed to be some sort of cute and funny bonding moment between the the master and pupil. So I was thinking that this would work out perfectly! ^^

Poor Shifu doesn't get a break even AFTER he lets himself bawl? *shakes head*I love how Oogway can make Shifu do things that aren't normally of his character. Especially the part where he threatens to tickle him again and Shifu actually whimpers. XD I can just picture Shifu's ears dropping and his eye twitching slightly!! XD

XD, Shifu hasn't really laughed in a while........ I think Oogway was just going to help him with that! *laughs* Plus the old tortoise needed to get free somehow...............Shifu is now going to be quite cheerful (now that he's finally released his sorrow) and will be double the happiness he is in "Secrets Of The Furious Five", slightly reverting back to his cub self. (However, he will still be quite grumpy and easily irritated, also hate getting hugged. That part doesn't change.... Hehe!) I'm trying to get him out of the character he is in "Kung Fu Panda" and more into the character he is in "Secrets Of The Furious Five", the happiness and full heart he recieves after Tai Lung's defeat, plus new happiness he's in now that he's finally well............cried himself out..... Oogway's threat was meant to frighten the red panda, I could also see him twitching and his ears drooping. That is if he was indeed ticklish..... I thought it would be fun to give him that weakness in my two stories! Who knows, maybe he is in the movie and it just doesn't show it! LOL...
He does look like his father! How did you color that so well? I suck at photoshop edits!

If it does bother you I really will change it! ^^I've been in Shifu's place too. Matter a fact I was abandoned over the summer by someone whom I loved endearingly. My emotional shell finally broke after a while too.... *tear rolls down cheek*
Indeed, Shifu found no other person better to break down in front of.
Oogway probably didn't think he'd get socked in the face.... or maybe he thought it would make him feel better!

Oh man... poor Shifu :C Of course, it was only so long before all those demons inside burst open that proverbial shell of his. At least Oogway was there to comfort the poor soul. That moment was so HEART-WRENCHING! I honestly felt like crying tears of both sorrow AND joy! The words he said... and the hug...a-and the lullaby... oh it was all so beautiful!!! *Sniff*
Yet, I must admit, you had me on the edge of my seat a couple of times in that chapter. Like when Shifu socked Oogway in the face... woo, that was unexpected. And when it said that Shifu "hurried to the edge of the cliff", I was so scared he was going to jump right off the edge and into oblivion!
Excellent chapter, my friend! This was a great read and I really can not wait until the next chapter!

Yes, you can only keep in the sorrow for so long at least up untill someone asks you if you're okay.*Grin* I figured the lullaby would be the one thing that would finally make poor Shifu's emotional shell finally shatter. Of course, hehe! Sappy Cryssy needed to make them hug eventually! I thought it would be a perfect moment for one right there.
Yes.... *shakes head* Can you believe Shifu actually punched him?! Oogway wasn't mad in the least of getting hit, only mad that Shifu let his sorrow get to that point! XD, I thought people would think he'd jump off! XD!
