BOYS LOVE / SHONEN AI
**this category is aimed at females**
Just wanted to let you know (^_^) I didn't know that this genere was for girls a while back either. ( I thouhgt it was for gay guys.)
But these mangas are written by women for women. Of course guys can read them too, I have a straight friend who likes "gravitation", but that IS a funny manga. *lol*
So to those of you that didn't dare read because you thought it was for guys, fear not! I believe more than 50% of female anime fans are into this category (^_^)
I suggest these for starters:
- Gravitation
- Only the ringfinger knows
(they are not explicit, and have good art and story)

- My earlier fan art is inspiered by Kazuya Minekura, artist behind Saiyuki.
- I do not color with watercolors any more,
- I use photoshop and I abuse these tools: dodge, burn, smudge (good for clothes and hair), zoom, and gausian blur (for skin).
My opacity level varies, but I like strong colors and often use colors at 90 -100% opacity.
Colors are chosen from "Toyo Process Color finder"
I always draw with the airbrush tool.

thanks for the comments! i draw syaoran and sakura because they're so much easier than fye/fai/fay, and i just plain old...kuro-puu...well, i like him, but not as much as the others...welll...idk. i'll probably draw him soon..., and mokona isn't chalenging enough. haha, i just got your other comment. my technique for colored pencils is most often utilized by the younger among us humans...in the range of two to eight years of age...press as if your life depends on it!! Ah, I'm flattered that you enjoy my story. As for Karu, he has black hair that reaches about to the middle of his calves and is always worn in a ponytail, oh, an the tips of his hair are blue. Hey Christmas, my new pic is up and hopefully if you don't have much to do you'll stop by and check it out. I left another message previously so, look at it.
the fai pic was less detailed 'cuz i only had book one for reference, so i had to use many pics. sadly, i soon realized that i had forgotten his long black gloves, since he wore different clothes in the hanshin republic and always wore his coat in book 1. the other pics i drew from trc were full color wallpapers/ book covers, except the syaoran one, which was a floating head...not my best work... :P
