Well, my favourite software is Adobe Photoshop CS which is the last and latest version. My second favourite is Corel Painter 8, now there's the new Painter 9. I recommend Photoshop coz it's more simpler and more friendlier for new colourists/artists. To use Painter, you must have tablet, it's like a computer mouse but you use it like a pen.
