Your sketch outline must be transparent with only the sketch can be seen in layer 0(zero(top layer)) (you have to get rid of the white that is in and around your sketch ) If you have cs2 1. select layer 0 (zero)
2. go to filter extract (it should bring you to a new window)
3. then if i can remember correctly select foreground (it should bring up a color palette)
4. select black
5. on the left side there should be a marker and you just scribble it over the outline (the marker color is irrelevant)
6. click preview to see if it looks ok and if you need to change the matte color (changes the background in that window so that you can see your image which should be just your outline)
these steps should get the white color off of your outline so that lower layers can appear.
Let me know if this is to complicated i will see if i can make it simpler.
