The eyes you used in "Zero Breeze" are very close to that Megaman Zero style. You just have to make the irises wider. Those characters always have an almost dulled expression too. Don't draw the eyes too open, like the character is suprised or something. I think you can do it. It really is very easy.Thanks for the comment^_^
