Hi Cresent. Sorry about the very long delay. My coms been down with a couple of viruses. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the comments. And no, I am not superior in any way, just someone who practices what he likes.
To answer your question, it was both pencils and watercolour pencils.
Keep up the good work, especially with the colours. You might want to look into human proportion though.
