ummmm. well in Ireland, you could visit the Giant's Causeway (In County Antrim). its a natural rock formation that was created thousands of years ago when Ireland had Volcanoes and was nearer the equator. there are thousands of tall hexagon shaped columns of Basalt rock forming pavement (its all uneven, its very cool) and cliff faces. it got its name because on a really clear day, you can see Scotland from an area just north of it and its said that giants used to use the pavements there as stepping stones between the two countries, over the sea.
and i guess theres the Burren, on the west coast (in County Clare), its a limestone (karst) landscape full of caves and caverns and drumlins (big mountain/hill things) and is home to some rare flowers and plants that can only grow in the (really rare) Limestone landscape. the Cliffs of Moher are around the same area, these are beautiful towering cliffs facing the Atlantic ocean (real pretty)
ummmm..... theres Malin and Mizen heads. Malin Head is the most northern point in the country. its in County Donegal. Mizen Head is in County Cork and its the most Southern point in the country (Ireland is an Island)
theres always the Spire in Dublin, though its nothing special. there are other things like the history and legends around Dublin city itself are really interesting (though i cant remember half of them)
there are hundreds of spectacular mountain ranges along the West coast (Dublin is on the East coast, it faces England and the Irish Sea, where the West side faces the open Atlantic ocean, the nearest country in that direction would be America)
i know I've really only talked about the geography but i don't really know the details of the history, i could tell you about it but it wont be as accurate as this :( I'd like to know more about the beautiful landscapes and features of your country, what you have told me so far sounds amazing!
