I think I can help you, don't know how much, but I'll try. Don't stress about what your parents say about your style, cuz remember it's you dressing that way, not them, and if you're the one paying for your clothes, it's also your money. I've had this problem for a long time, and to be honest, my parents never did (and still don't) accept me. I actually live with my boyfriend, and quite frankly most of his family (other than his mom, brother, and sister) isn't too fond of me either. I'm not quite sure, but I think if you're over the age of 16, you're able to make decisions of what you do with your life such as where you live and crap for yourself.
