Umm i got a question again.....what kind of pens do you use to ink or do you use the copic sketch black marker? Just wondering cuz i use or just bought a set of really expensive radiograph pens.(120$ for 7 of um.)

wow ur art is amazing! is it hard to draw like that or does it just come naturally? cuz i see that you use measuring things....bery technical! but amazing and awesome at the same time!

How do you get your pictures here? DO you take pictures? Do you have a special scanner or...what...cuz i saw how big your pictures were and my scanner is only 8 by 11 so is it just my scannder or do you take pics or what?

Of all my pictures posted here......only three of them exceed 9" X 12" .
I use a 10" X 14" scanner for the majority of my works.
...."Fresh from the drawing desk".....and "welcome arrow through the heart" were both taken as digital photographs.
 
My newest picture, "Wings of Light" was professionally scanned at the local copy/printing supply store.  They have a 36" wide scanner there.   I paid 25$ to have a high resolution scan put on disc, so that I could offer the picture as a print.

Your artwork is amazing! Very impressive :) Hey I have a question- how do you get those transparent labels onto your art so people can't steal it? I don't know how and I think I want to start using them- could you tell me how? Um thanks and your art rocks keep it up ^^

I created a watermark design in photoshop, and set is as a transparent layer. I position the design and set the desired level of transparency. then I save the finished picture as a merged image. you can also digially embed a watermark using photoshop. (a good idea if you intend to post your works on the web and prevent theft.)

depending on the picture, i utilize:
basic white copy paper
Watercolor paper
Chimic Paper
Aquabee paper
and Bristol Board.

How hows it going!?! any ways i was looking through your gallery and i noticed that you use alot of COPIC sketch markers i recently got some and my pics aren't turning out any thing like yours is there some kind of trick to it how do you do it?!? ^^

I have to apologize, the fault is mine ^ ^ ; I use too few words to express myself. 
 
I meant to ask about the size of paper you usually work on. Is it printer paper or larger ? And what did you use for the highlights on Ed's automail ?

Gotcha...

I typically utilize either 9 X12 Premium drawing paper or Regular copy paper...**Copy paper being the better choice if using COPICS or inks...

And the highlights on Edward's automail are done a variety of ways, depending on the picture.

One way is, .....use of a clear blender and swab to remove excess color.
Another is using an eraser to take off the upper layer of paper fibers and ink.....(this way however is very destructive...and best not used if you value the original work)
and last but not least is white paint washes......^ ^ (many layers of them.....)
** I recommend paint washes....:D

First of all I would like to say that you are truly amazing. You probably hear this all the time but your pictures are too good for words. You mentioned earlier, the materials with which you color these works. In your latest picture, Hollow Nightshade, could I ask how those dots of light were created ? 

To answer your question:
The Orbs of Light were created using different size stencil brushes, acrylic paint, paint dilutant, and cotton swabs.
 
Air brush also works good, but I do not own one.

You are amazing and have my respect 100% I like your art-you have well rounded skills!
So...how do you do it?  I mean, you make your work so refined and perfect? 
There are no stray lines, no mess-you know how to make a texture look honestly real just  buy highlights and shadow...and you seem to know every trick possible in photoshop-any trick for any challenge you put up for yourself.
For any challenge I give myself...I freeze up and can't seem to get clean clear results....

I generally use:
Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pens,
Prismacolor Markers
TOMBO Markers
COPIC Sketch Markers
and ....India Ink.

Can you please draw my character Frankie Elric
She's a dead ringer for Edward Elric except her hair is short, boyish, sometimes covering her eyes, her antennae is facing down, her hair is growing out, in a small ponytail and her eyes are blue
She has blue mystical tattoos on her arms(a  cross between tribal markings and transmutation circles)
Carries a big sword(has tassels at the end, a small transmuation circle engraved on it and a big blue jewel inserted on it)
Has two grotesque scars : on on her right shoulder(spiderweb-like;looks her shoulder was carved  deep) and on her left kneecap(a burn mark, spiderweb-like)
Picture 1: Her usual outfit: Blue undershirt, brown work gloves, blue baggy pants,and brown boots
She holding her sword over her  shoulder
Picture 2: Alternate outfit: white open trenchcoat (showing bandages wrapped around her chest), black fingerless gloves, red drawstring pants, and foot wraps
holding a alternate form of her sword: a big katana(with the tassels at the end)
wearing purple-lensed glasses (like Alucard's glasses)
Picture  3: one showing her scars, half-naked, a pair of angel wings and the flamel in the background
Picture 4: She has her back turned to the camera but you can still see her face and showing 4 angel wings on her back (two on her shouders and two on the sides of her back), kinda naked

The description section for all of my color works listed the materials used for the particular picture.

but to sum it up,
I utilize:

Faber-Castell PITT Artist pens (shades of grey & basic colors)
COPIC Sketch Markers (sets A,B,C,D)
Prismacolor Markers (select colors)
Tombo Brand Markers (select colors)

Thanks for your comments. You've got talent, I especially like your use of color. You should try to attend school, (as much as you don't need it, you really do, just to get ahead.) Try applying to some schools, you could get student loans if finances are a problem, also show a wide variety of subject matter, take it from me, they really don't like to just see horror and fantasy. Also spread your art all over the internet. That is what I did and got quite a few art jobs out of it. Any other advice you need just ask.
