I know this is going to sound a bit strange, but do you know where I could find some sort of guide that would be helpful in drawing Soiny_Rose's request? (She'd requested a pic from me quite some time ago. A group shot of Rocky, Aurora, and Rogue.) I don't normally draw dogs, so I'm in desperate need of some 'models' of sorts.

Dog models? Well depending on what breed they are maybe try looking up that breed on google images? Or look up dog/wolf tutorials here on FAC, or DA maybe.

Draco, this is in regards to your comment on Setofan's picture of the creature he addopted from me. you asked what his colorations were going to be. You can see him in my picture, Drolf Addoption. While I may not be anywhere near as good as you or catwhohas14tails (You two are my top favorite artists, and then Crocdragon89, who I am currently RPing with), I still think it's pretty good. All I need to do it work on my shading... *Ahem* At any rate, more Drolf will be addoptable soon. they come in many varieties! Kinda got the varied types from the Zeons, but hey, it works.

My eyes fell out of my head when I looked at your stuff. Your preportion is just phonominal.

It's such a pain in the @$$ getting it as good as I can with mine, and I just see people that do it so much beter and it rips my apart :( is it hard to draw the way you do?

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, it can be hard, when no matter what I do nothing is coming out right, but I always like a good challenge. All I can say really is it takes alot of practice and persistance. It's not a gift really, it can be something you learn, and have fun with.

A few cheats on the first one: When you collect ALL. and I mean ALL of the power cells, you open this door that reveals a giant precurser ring.

Oh, and when Daxter gets the opertunity in turning human again with white eco... he doesn't, and instead helps Jak out and stuff. He's stuck as a little ottsil forever. :-P

the faces and the body. their very complicated. the legs i can do. wings even if not so good. the bodies you do come out perfectly. they're well built and shapely. the faces look very good as well. thin and show a lot of detail. oh and the horns.also very detailed. you are a very excellent artist i envy you with your skill.

That's nice. The only program that I have to help me out (Trying to color with the crap-tastic MSPaint) is Microsoft Photo Editor. It has stamp effects and smudge options and stuff, so it's cool I guess. It has something about transparencies on it, but I can't figure it out. lol

oh right his past! sorry. ok his past:
koda used to belong to a pack of wolves but they kicked him out just because he liked humans. he likes humans because when he was a little pup a young girl fed him and took care of him when he was accidently seperated from the pack. she left him in the woods and the pack found him though they did smell human on him they let it slide. that is until he got older he always asked questions about humans. the alpha was fed up with his contsant talk of humans so they kicked him out. he doesn't understand what's wrong with them. his pack always told him humans were bad and hated wolves but koda didn't listen. he's wondered the streets since then.
if you wanna now his age it's 17. just tell me if i need to draw his human form and i will. if i need to change anything here just tell me

Personality: She go haywire if you push the wrong button, she tends to talk back (just about anyone), loyal, and wont back down from a fight. But shes also very fun loveing and will help anyone whos in troble.
 
Past: She dosent like to be reminded of her past. She was abandoned by her pack. So she wandered around and unded up being adopted by Jake, who was a sleder. After a while she began sled racing and was the one behind the leader Roge. They had to cross a narrow landbrige. Jake figured it was safe to cross and about midway it broke, and Shady sliped out of the harness just in time and was on the legde clinging on the Roge to keep them from falling. Jake threw a lasso around Shadys neck and pulled tight. Shady satred to pull the up, but the rope snaped and Jake, Roge, and the rest of the team fell into the ditch below.  If you remind her of that she can go 1) becmoe really useful 2) try and kill who ever reminded her of it.
 
Shes not very 'book' smart but is 'street' smart

Well, here is Haiku's bio thing, please tell me if you hope to change something, if story needs it.
 
Age: Umm... About 25 in human age x.x
 
Disposition: Dislikes annoying people (or wolfs as well), hates things what try to flirt with her, and when moody, can even be aggressive with flirters. Cant stay long time in same place, about 1 day staying in same place drives she nuts. She just HAS to move, wander and travel around. Has softer side for those who understand she in every way, and because of being always moving, she mostly 'knows' almost everyone. When sees injured, she usually at least tries to help, because she feels quilty when just leaving them behind. Is pretty intelligent.
 
Past: Well.. She borned in big pack and grew up with 6 siblings, and never felt like belonging there. One day when she was again wandering in their territory, she smelled weird scent, and decided to follow it. She followed it long time, until it attacked-scent came from another wolf, from different pack-friend pack, but both of them didn't know that. Haiku was as strong as another wolf, but faster, so battle ended up Haiku winning... But then she noticed that everything wasn't alright. She had accidentally killed other wolf. Haiku didn't know what to do, so she just ran to her cave, feeling so quilty, like she would never come out again. But didn't go even an hour when her father came from checking territory. He had saw dead wolf, and recognized him as well. When he came to his daughter, he saw blood on her fur, and in second put things together in his mind.  He and his pack decided to exhile Haiku from her pack, and told her if they would meet again they will kill her. Haiku didn't even feel it bad to run away; she thought she deserved it, and deserved to die as well. She just ran away, and is still in that way.

that means she'll be 54 inchs long when she's 4 years old from then on her growth will vary.

my half of the art trade's taking longer than I'd originally planned, I've misplace the pencil case that I keep all my stuff in, but I'm doin concept sketches at the mo.
I'll get it up as soon as possible, but I'm jugglin with exams n stuff. :s

Um... here's my attempt at Zeus's bio, lol.
He's about 19-20 as a human. He's often quite hyperactive, and isn't fond of staying in one place; the reason why he doesn't have a permanent home. He travels a lot, as a human through cities, a wolf through forests. He enjoys watching human behaviour, finding it somewhat odd how scientists study little things like plants.
He doesn't particularly like violence, and will often back out in a fight. He lived with his brother and sister for a while, before he became bored of the village they lived in, and chose to travel, running through rough terrains as a wolf, only venturing from his path to hunt or drink.

Thanks! Yea I've lost money from my business when people have refused to pay, the internet theft thing goes both ways. If you ever change your mind, you know where to find me. ;) I've got a lot of new stuff for my site once everything's set back up (moving) so hopefully soon that site will be updated.

And I semi lied. Technically I'm not a zookeeper, but its about the only term I can use that everyone will understand without going into a big explaination. I'm a docent in the education department at a my local zoo (2nd oldest in the country ^-^), so I handle the animals we use for programs and work hands on with the public rather than doing all the grunt work. Next year I'm going to Delaware Valley College next year to study zoo science (which is sort of like zoology) and I'll be interning as an actual zookeeper.

Yeah the hind legs of my gryphon were off. I tried really hard to get them perfect, but I'm not used to drawing wild cat legs. Even thought I had examples, I didn't get it prefect, oh while, I tried. But I may draw another gryphon soon.

I have 2 requests.
#1Could make a tutorial on dragon wings. Have at least one showing wings folded, one from the back, side view, one half way folded, and whatever you can think. I really need to learn how wings, b/c I noticed I use the form of wings and I need to do something different.
#2Make a tutorial on to draw dragon feet. From side view, front view, and other ways. And different types of claws. I just need to learn these things.

Ziress is the King of the Artic land. He had a family of creatures like him, but a little family in Canada took them and they died from getting to hot. He keeps all the animals in order and he eats Narwals and seals because we would be over populated by them.

Ziress is 60 feet taller than a human. He is coverd in a thick coat of white fur. He has two curved horns on his head and three spikes on his neck. He has nostrils like a dragon and feet like one too. His tail is stong and powerfull. He tries to hide his teeth, but he can't help one hang out. If you ever want to color him only his claws, horns and spikes are ice looking. He is very strong so try to show musle inder his fur.

I was starting to think that, a Google search for the phrase "lunar dragon" turned up gazillions of results for the Lunar RPG series (especially Lunar: Dragon Song).

I have wondered about the lunar dragons for quite some time, in fact ever since I first saw that section in the category list. Organization concerns me as I'm on the category team, and these "Lunar" dragons I never really considered as belonging in the Fantasy>Dragons section since most of them are in the "flying kitty" form, with no real resemblance to either Western or Eastern dragons.

But they are quite popular in numbers and should probably get their own section anyway.

Technically, since they're based on the Lunar RPG series, they qualify as fanart and thus the 'proper' placement for their section would be something like "Games > Lunar RPG Series > Original Characters > Lunar Dragons" --

But that's quite a mouthful, yes? It's a shame we don't have category redirects available yet, then the category could appear in both places and be easier to find.

So for now, *shrugs*, I guess it'll just have to be a subset of the Dragons category. Just so long as it's clear that it's for Lunar RPG type dragons.

I have a question, and since you seem to draw a lot of them maybe you can help. What exactly IS a "lunar dragon"? I see a lot of them by you and other artists, so you'd think that it would be easy to hunt up a definition -- but it's not. We don't have much in the way of a category for "lunar dragons", and I have been resorting them into the Furries heading for some time because they bear so little resemblance to traditional (i.e. Western or Oriental style) dragons, and I have no real definition of what they actually are.

thanks im really excited about the trade. now i ask you to darw a picture, and since i love your dragons so much, can i please ask you to draw my two main characters (Gallon the turquoise werewolf, and me the whitewerewolf (can you draw them as humanplease. an example for what they look like is "a dream")) riding a dragon? and then you respond saying "ok" and then you ask me for what you want. we both draw and then we both post. and that is how an art trade works
