Hi, my name is MacalaniaMan.

HOORAY! I've now turned 1100 years old!! XD
I live in the Zero World; just to the left of Bevelle and 30 miles away from Gongaga.

When I'm not basking in the praise of millions of people (after saving the world from the Cloud of Darkness or owning Zeromus on the moon), I like to unwind.
My hobbies include playing chocobo hot+cold and flying around various worlds in the Ragnarok; dropping ketchup bombs on the unsuspecting public.

XD

CAN YOU TELL I LOVE FINAL FANTASY? JUST CHECK OUT MY GALLERY! THE PROOF IS THERE!!!!

I thank you in advance for taking the time to look at my pics. While your leaving, help yourself to some treats from the complimentary plate of marshmallows.

We hope you enjoy your stay!

BTW, why not try and take a holiday at the luxurious Costa Del Sol? NO monster attacks; GUARANTEED! Well, maybe not until after your 3rd or 4th visit. But who knows! You might even be able to buy Rufus Shinra's Holiday home (if you're rich enough!).

killerrabbit05Haha, I'm moving the FF conversation here... 8)
I'm one to enjoy lengthy fan-rants... Let's see, where were we?
Haha, yeah, I think my room-mate was really turned off by the fact that it was a PS1 game with crummy graphics... I didn't think that when I played 7 (and I first played it about 3 or four years ago?). Which makes it an even more awesome game, because it doesn't need to look pretty to be good. I stole her DS for KH:358/2 days (we're both big KH fans) and I beat it before her. I may consider getting a used DS if at all... Since I spent bucks on my PSP and all.

Nah, I don't HATE 10-2, it was just really different for me. The beginning of the game was the only weird thing, since it seemed so random, but as the game went on more for me, it didn't seem weird. And I loved the ending. It's just out of the FF's I've played, it didn't wow me the most.

Sorry for the super LONG comment... ^_^

MacalaniaManHey, don't worry about it. I like long comments; it makes me think "there must be something awesome going on here to make the comment so long!". ;P

In truth, I've played and completed 15 different FF games. Other than the numbered ones, the others being: Dirge of Cerberus FF7, FF12 Revenant Wings, Crisis Core FF7, FF Crystal Chronicles - Ring of Fates, FF Tactics A2 - Grimoire of the Rift, FF Fables Chocobo Tales and DISSIDIA!

I agree with you when you say that FF7 being a PS1 game is awesome because it's true, and I think this for the ohter PS1 FF titles. They don't need to look pretty to be good! They've made me think a few times (especially with FF8) that considering when they were made (1997-2000), the graphics and music are really good. Amazing.
OMG, I love the music! The awesome sound of a synthesizer to capture those memorable moments is brilliant! I've got the soundtrack for FF7, FF7 AC, FF8 and DISSIDIA on my iPod. IT'S AWESOME!

*Sorry for the uber long comment. Hope I haven't bored you!*

killerrabbit05Hmm... the other FF titles I have played don't even come close to how many you've played...
I've only finished Dirge of Cerberus out of un-numbered titles; I'm currently playing Dissidia, I've started Revenant Wings (my roomie somehow ended up buying that one for her DS), and I plan on getting Crisis Core.

Haha, sometimes I think the PS1 FFs were really THE best all around, because despite their limitations, they managed to come through and tell an absolutely awesome story. FF8 was pretty epic, and I know the first time I started playing it, I thought it was amazing (although I was too young and impatient to see the story to fully exploit the junction system properly).

OMG, I'm such a music nerd too!!! I LOVE the music, it's absolutely gorgeous! Even those midi tones sound amazing!
LOL, I just bought the Dissidia soundtrack and I already have the tracks for FF7, FF7:AC, FF7:Doc, FF8, FF10, FF10-2 as well as some of the orchestral and piano pieces (of which I want more...).
It's like every time I play one of the games I HAVE to have to music for it... I guess in a sense it's like reliving the game without having to play it all over again...

And I love long comments... So you don't need to worry about it either. ;)

MacalaniaManOMG, I share your sentiments exactly! All the FF soundtracks I have; I bought them after I played the games and yes, I have some of the orchestral/piano pieces too! One of the best ones I've heard is the orchestral version of the Final Fantasy 7 main theme; you know the one that plays when your on the world map first time around. It's such a beautiful piece of music; you can really feel the emotions the game portrays.

I have quite a few fav pieces of music, of which I will only list some!
1. Tsuteki Da Ne - the song that plays when Tidus and Yuna have their emotional moment in the water in FF10.
2. Waltz for the moon - the music that plays when Squall and Rinoa have their dance at the graduation ceremony in FF8.
3. The music that plays when you fight Kuja in his Trance form near the end of FF9. (Can't remember what it's called!)
4. One Winged Angel - the awesomest ballad of evil and destruction for the awesome Sephiroth in FF7! I LOVE the original synthesized version, the rock version in FF7 AC AND the orchestral version in DISSIDIA!

I LOVE the One Winged Angel track SO MUCH, that I've even learned the LYRICS!! :P

BTW, have you heard of a group called "The Black Mages"? Their a japanese group of which Nobuo Uematsu is a part, and they play rock covers of Final Fantasy tunes. Check them out on Youtube if you haven't already.

I also URGE you to get Crisis Core. IT'S GREAT! ONE FOR EVERY FF FAN TO PLAY!! It's so good, that the ending almost made me cry!! *wipes away a tear remembering it*

OMG, I'm such a nerd! BUT I DON'T CARE!!!!! XD

killerrabbit05AHHHH!!! This is so much fun!!! 8) Most of my friends aren't all that into FF, and even if they are, we don't talk about it all that often!

I have most DEFINITELY heard of the Black Mages, they have some really awesome remixes! I've only bought Those Who Fight Further, JENOVA and The Man With the Machine Gun, which I absolutely LOVE. Their rock-techno interpretations of the songs are pretty epic.
But my favorite rock-mix is of course Advent Children's One-Winged Angel... IT IS SO AMAZING!!!! Haha! That song is pretty crazy though. I think I used to know what the latin lyrics meant, but I don't really remember anymore... I just say the latin along with the song sometimes. And when I do, I get weird looks from my sister (she knows what it is from since she's watched me play many of the games, but she thinks it's weird I know the lyrics).

GAWD, I have so many favorite tracks...
I love the Chocobo theme... Pretty much all versions of it...
I love FFV's battle theme and the Battle at the Big Bridge track...
I love the main theme of FINAL FANTASY (the one that plays at the end of every game... I especially like FFXII's version)... And the Prelude too!
And many character themes... AND THERE ARE SO MANY I LOVE IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY!!! It would take waaay too long for me to list all the ones that make me excited when the song starts to play...

There are too many games that I WANT to play because I'm pretty much a late-comer to gaming in general. I didn't really get majorly into the stuff until about... 5-6 years ago? Like I started with a PS1 but only played like Spyro and racing games, and then I tried FF8 and never finished (for like, 3 or 4 years... O_o). It wasn't until I got Kingdom Hearts that I became REALLY interested (haha, yes I am a KH fan-tard 8D).

MacalaniaMan on February 3, 2010, 3:38:58 AM

MacalaniaMan on
MacalaniaManI love KH too, especially the second one. But I have to admit, I love FF more...WAY MORE!!

I'm glad you've heard of the Black Mages. The JENOVA theme is awesome, but I can recommend some MORE OSSSUM tracks of theirs. Try getting your hands on "Maybe I'm a lion", "ZEROMUS" and their rendition of "Battle on the Big Bridge".

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! I <3 the Final Fantasy theme (the one at the end). Almost every time I hear it, it fills me with such a great sense of success and accomplishment; like the game itself is saying: "Congratulations! You've just saved the world and completed another adventure!" Do you ever get that when you hear that theme?
There is a website where you can get the lyrics to a lot of the songs from various FF games. I can't remember what the site is called, but just type "final fantasy lyrics" into google and it should be one of the first choices! ^^

Something I URGE you to see. Go onto youtbe, type "final fantasy in a nutshell" and you should find one called "FF7" or "final fantasy 7 in a nutshell". It should have a pic of FF7 AC with it, should be just under 2 mins long and have "DBZ" in the description.
*I know that's a pretty detailed instruction, but I really want you to see it! It made me laugh so hard that my chest hurt!! XD*

Hope we can talk about our fav FF moments soon.

killerrabbit05 on February 3, 2010, 8:20:55 AM

killerrabbit05 on
killerrabbit05I feel like FF is better because... Well, it feels more serious. But I like both.

Haha, the FF theme DOES make one feel so accomplished... Makes you feel so proud! I pretty much know the lyrics to the English songs, but for the Japanese ones, I can say most of them but have no idea what they mean. I sorely wish I had learned Japanese. Maybe, if I can find some gaps in my schedule, I would be able to take some classes. XD

I feel so bad that I never checked out any of the other songs by the Black Mages... Probably because I hadn't heard most of the songs they covered before (like, from older FFs) or I wasn't a fan of the original song before. Like, I had never heard the Zeromus song before, but it seems pretty awesome! And so does Maybe I'm a Lion... Will have to look into that more...

HAHAHAHA!!! That video was SO funny! I've seen the original before (the DBZ one) but... THAT WAS MORE FUNNY!!! Haha, and Kadaj's voice as Freeza!!! LOL!!
If you haven't seen this yet, you should watch it! It's a Dissidia thing that I found and thought was SO funny!

MacalaniaManOMG! Thank you from the bottom of my crystal encrusted heart. Just watched those vids you recommended - SO FUNNY! Tears came to my eyes they were so funny!
"Only a real man would beat up a helpless child!"
"Why would you destroy my favourite pillar?! You're a bad man!!" LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!
I don't know if you've seen it, but someone has made a FF spoof using the action figures! I found it SO funny; it makes fun of all the right/obvious things! Here's the link:
http://www.youtube.com/thefinebros#p/u/10/iUB18Y8Ik0M

Also these:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80wcp3Zsbuo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyk8beeWf8E&feature=related

I don't mind cussing. When used in spoofs, it's really funny! But I have to admit, I was a little surprised when I first saw the swearing when playing FF7 - all the other FFs I played before 7 didn't really have any swears. I eventually got used to the swearing (99% of it coming from Cid as you know) but then when I played FF8, I have to admit I was a little sad that there WASN'T as much swearing there!! That didn't stop me from enjoying the game as a whole, though. FF8 is OSSSUM!! XD

With the Black Mages music, I don't think you necessarily need to have heard the original tunes because their music sounds OSSSUM anyway. But what I find is with a few of their tracks; having already heard a lot of the original synthesized tunes, I like to try and match the two songs up in my head. Do you ever get that?

Sadly no, I haven't played FF12 itself. Only Revenant Wings. Though I should give it a try; as one of my goals in life is to play as many FF games as possible til I depart for the farplane! (Sad goal, I know. But when you're that passionate about something, you tend not to care and just go along with it!)

Any chance you could rate FF12 for me (in %), and give me 1 good reason for playing it??

killerrabbit05 on February 4, 2010, 8:46:26 AM

killerrabbit05 on
killerrabbit05OMG!!! Haha, I've seen those vids before, but I still love 'em!!! Especially the last two... Barret's little rants always cracked me up... And Vincent the "vampire"! XD You know everyone probably wondered that at first... I mean, he was locked in a coffin for a few decades. That's kinda suspicious. XD

I agree, it was weird seeing swearing in FF7, because it doesn't look like the type of game to, but it was still hilarious. I think that was the only game in the series that had a noticeable amount; although I don't know about the early versions, I'm guessing from you that they don't have it.

It's totally cool if you haven't played FFXII yet; I too want to have at least played all the main titles one day (I proly won't get FFXIII until a few years after it's been out, seeing as it's on a next gen. console...)
There's a lot of mixed reviews on it, with some people outright hating it and others thinking its absolutely the best.

Here's the low-down from me:
As far as it being its own game, it's great; it's pretty, it's a wide open world, and you can choose whether or not to do the kajillion side-quests (in this case, the hunts). The story is pretty straight-forward and vaguely interesting.
The character development isn't as in-depth as it is in other games though. And the main character, Vaan, really shouldn't be the main character. I can understand the concept behind choosing him as the main character; he (like the player) is totally thrown into the situation at hand and is pretty much along for the ride, watching the story go along. Other than that, he's not important to the main story. Plus, he's annoying, in my opinion.
The story... well, it's more political than any of the recent FFs. All the other one's seem to focus on the characters struggle to save the world and there's some love story involved, but there is no love story in this one.
And another thing... there seems to be a LOT of things in the game that are comparable to Star Wars. If you do end up playing it, it's easy to see the various comparisons, and it makes the story seem sort of... unoriginal? I think it's cool, but I can see some people getting all huffy over that.
The battle system... Well, it's kind of meh. It's really easy to use and promotes lazy gaming; there are some bosses that you can simply leave the game and come back later, and you'll still be fighting. There's not a lot of direct control, and the system, while interesting, gets old after a while. And there is a LOT of level grinding and the "dungeons" seem to last forever.
I hope that was as un-biased a review as possible; I personally liked the game because it was different, and I became all fan-girl over a certain character *ahem* BALTHIER <3 *ahem*...

MacalaniaManThanx for the review. I should give it a try one day. I've recently started playing FF1 for my PSP and I have to say... I'm very pleased. Surprised even. I didn't expect it to be as good as it is! The battle theme is OSSSUM!! ^^

I'm glad you've seen those vids before. It's a shame Vincent was kicked out of the turks because... HE'S A FREAKIN' VAMPIRE!! They don't allow vampires in the turks! LOL

killerrabbit05OOOO, really? When I first got my PSP I was gonna buy that game but the store I went to had the game-box but not the game-disc... I was really bummed. I wanted to play that one too...it's kinda the game that started it all, although slightly modified. Maybe I'll see if I can get it soon...

Anyways... If you ever happen to play FFXII, lemme know what you think! I know the beginning can be a *bit* tedious, but it gets more interesting as the game progresses!

MacalaniaMan on February 9, 2010, 7:55:15 PM

MacalaniaMan on
MacalaniaManI'M SO ASHAMED!!!
MY LAST COMMENT TO YOU WAS SO SHORT! I AM WILLING TO ACCEPT ANY PUNISHMENT!! *hangs head in shame*

Anyways....WHAT A STUPID STORE!!!! How can they think of selling a game that they don't even have the disk to? It's quite idiotic, if you ask me! >:P

I suppose that's a good idea - waiting a couple of years before getting FF13. At least that will give you the chance to get a next gen console (I assume you don't have one). If you do get around to getting a next gen console, I strongly advise towards getting a PS3.
Reasons for this:
1. Hold true to your FF fan girl nature and stick with Sony's Playstation.
2. Most of the FF games are available for Playstation consoles these days, so it kinda makes sense to stick with them.
3. The PS3 has a built in Blu-Ray player. Which means you can watch FF7 Advent Children on the same system you play games on. Whereas if you had an XBox 360, you would have to shell out a few hundred £/$!!
4. The XBox 360 SUCKS! I mean you have to pay to go online with them, but with the PS3...you don't! It's like part of your normal internet connection with the PS3.

..........Aaaaah. Rage spiral over. ;s

You're right. None of the earlier FF games really have any swears, as far as I can remember! I kinda wish they would, though. It would make the gaming experience more interesting, and give the characters a bit more.... character, if you know what I mean. But curse the gaming industry to tighten it's parental guidance grip!
*begins casting curse on the gaming worlds executives*
*MWAHAHAHAHA*

I'll let you in on something fun from FF1 for the PSP. When I first saw it, it made me laugh! I couldn't believe a game from so early on in the series had such attitude!!
When you enter the first town (called Cornelia), press the A button in front of the fountain. It would reply with:
"You see your reflection in the water. UUGH! Your face is filthy! Go wash up!"

I think that reply would be one of the good reasons for getting FF1! LOL

(HAHA! What a long comment!)^^

killerrabbit05 on February 10, 2010, 7:03:42 AM

killerrabbit05 on
killerrabbit05LOL! Don't be sorry! Sometimes we just can't think of much to say at times! ^_^

Haha, when the guy was trying to find the game behind the counter (I was gonna get it used), he said that someone had turned in the Crisis Core disc with the FF1 game box... I was like, WTF? Haha!

Yeah, I can't afford a Next Gen. console right now... But I was definitely gonna go with PS3. Always been a Sony kid... I'm so adapted to the damn controller format that it's hard for me to go with any other! Plus, I heard there was gonna be some exclusive content only available to the PS3 version of FFXIII AND there are rumors that FF Versus XIII is ONLY gonna be on the PS3 (all these are rumors, but I think they're quite plausible).
And yeah, Blu-Ray is definitely better than the Xbox's HD DVD (that's what it has, right?). I have Advent Children on regular DVD, but Advent Children Complete would be even better (and that one's Blu-Ray only, yes?)! The only thing is that I wouldn't get to play some of the exclusives that are on Xbox, but there seem to be some equally awesome exclusives on PS3...
And I've also seen that PS3's are sturdier than any other game system (although I shouldn't have to worry all that much about it...).

Haha, but from what I've seen, the old FFs have their own character in their own way (like your fountain example) and that famous Spoony Bard thing... It seems that they've added lots of little things like that into the old games.

MacalaniaMan on February 10, 2010, 5:20:24 PM

MacalaniaMan on
MacalaniaManI don't really know what exactly the XBox 360 has. I only really know about the PS3 (because it's OSSUM). And I don't really know what's true or not about these FF13 rumours. I generally just wait until the game is released, and go with it's flow!
Yes. I believe Advent Children Complete IS Blu-Ray only, and it's definitely worth getting! It has like 30 minutes of extra movie footage (that ISN'T in the DVD version), a story digest of the whole FF7 saga (including any games before and after the initial FF7) and a bonus animated short that shows a more indepth look at Denzel and his life.
So the Blu-Ray of ACC is kinda like a Director's Cut. IT'S BRILLIANT!!

BTW, what's that Spoony Bard thing from? (Which FF?)
Either I haven't come across it, or I'm too stupid to remember! XD

With regards to FF1 and FF2; considering they've both been released for a couple of years now (since 2007-2008 I think) and considering the popularity of FF and how many fan-girl nerds like us there are in the world, you would probably have a better chance at getting those games used (unless your willing to pay or bid HIGH amounts of money for a brand new one on eBay or something).
But good luck with trying to find them. If you can save the world from Sephiroth AND Sin, then I'm sure you'll be able to find those games. HAVE FAITH, BRAVE WARRIOR!
;3

killerrabbit05 on February 11, 2010, 9:45:35 AM

killerrabbit05 on
killerrabbit05Haha, the Spoony Bard thing was a mis-translation from the original FFIV (which was released in the West as FFII) into English; and they've said it in every translation ever since. Apparently (from what I've read, since I haven't played the game) it's when Tellah gets really mad at Edward the "bard".
That's the extent of my knowledge. I guess it was more funny than anything.
Anyways, yeah, I definitely plan on getting a PS3 in the future and when I do, I definitely wanna get Advent Children complete! It'll be awesome!!!! XD

And I'm for sure gonna get them used for mah PSP. I need more games for it... plus I finally finished the main story mode of Dissidia, and the other stuff will only last me so long... Still love that game though... 8)
I was proly gonna go with Gamestop to get it. I've also seen a I+II bundle type thing at Target before, so if I can get that, it'll be even better! Oh, I'll need to get Crisis Core too... (lol, I'm making a mental checklist in my comment)

MacalaniaMan on February 14, 2010, 8:26:26 PM

MacalaniaMan on
MacalaniaManWell, as far as I'm concerned... that's a good checklist! LOL

Congrats on finally completing the main story of Dissidia. Isn't the end CGI movie awesome? Also, did you know that when the Warrior of Light walks over the horizon (where the castle is) and the sky/background goes green? That scene actually derives from the very first Final Fantasy game. (I've seen a screen shot of the FF1 heroes standing on the horizon over a castle with a green sky in the original NES 1987 version of the game). Just thought I'd exchange a nugget of info for your Spoony Bard thing!
Anyways, now that you've completed the main story you can now do a story for FF11 and FF12 - resulting in Shantotto and Gabranth becoming available for purchase in the PP shop!
*FYI - Gabranth's Ex Mode attack is awesome! It's completely similar to the "Limit Break" system used in FF12, if you haven't unlocked him already that is!

I'm such a DISSIDIA nerd - I've spent over 130 hours on it already.... and counting!
Not a good thing to brag about, I know! (Ugh, I need to get out more!) -_-

killerrabbit05 on February 15, 2010, 6:57:14 AM

killerrabbit05 on
killerrabbit05Yeah, the ending CGI WAS awesome!
Haha, when I first saw the Warrior of Light walk towards that castle, I strangely thought it looked vaguely like Cinderella's castle at Disneyland! XD
But that's cool that they reincorporated that same scene from FF1!

Heehee, I already finished the FF12 one... because Gabranth is AWESOME!!! XD I haven't done FFXI one just yet... I figured I'd play some Duel Colosseum and get some synthesis items! I was also trying out all the villains. Of course, they all kinda suck cause I hadn't used them before and they needed to be leveled up, but the easiest ones for me SO far (I have to still try Kuja and Jecht) are Cloud of Darkness, Garland, Ultimecia, Gabranth and Sephiroth! And yeah, it's really cool that Gabranth's Ex Mode attack is JUST like the Quickenings from FFXII! Gotta love that! 8)
I'm still working on getting 100% on everything... It feels so retarded having to go back and play the Destiny Odyssey's with such high level characters... -_-
Oh well! Dissidia is still fun for me though!

MacalaniaMan on February 15, 2010, 6:43:21 PM

MacalaniaMan on
MacalaniaManHmmmmmmmmm. Cinderella's castle, eh? ;p
Well, whatever floats your boat I suppose!

Sephiroth is a brilliant character in Dissidia. Because of the rediculous length of his sword (which is OSSUM), you don't have to be standing too close to your opponent to chip away at their bravery and instantly initiate a chase!
If you don't have it already, then be sure to equip Sephy with the "Black Materia" HP attack. It's an awesome move because you can build it up to be a really huge meteor to fall on your opponent (WITH A HUGE EXPLOSION, TOO!). I recommend trying Kuja. I admit that some of his moves involve being close to your opponent (which can be dangerous), but the outcome of those bravery attacks can differ depending on your distance from the enemy! So he's worht trying.
I don't really know if I'm trying to get 100% on everything myself. At the moment I'm just working on getting everyone at level 100. So far, I have 8 characters at that level.

Do you have any Lv.100 characters?

killerrabbit05 on February 16, 2010, 6:38:26 AM

killerrabbit05 on
killerrabbit05LOL haha, no one's at level 100 yet... My highest right now is Firion at level 82. All my other heroes are in the 40s and 50s... playing favorites much? HAHAHA! XD
And uh... well my villains are all pretty pathetic since I've only just started using them, and haven't worked on them all that much. Haha, plus I only play at night before I go to bed because most of the day is spent on school... :B
I HATE most of the magic users because I prefer mid range to close combat, and they require that you be far away, which can be very difficult at times.

MacalaniaMan on February 17, 2010, 7:18:36 PM

MacalaniaMan on
MacalaniaManFirion at level 82?
Somehow I think he's your fav character! LOL
Just got Bartz to level 100 - that makes 9 all together. Warrior of Light and Gabranth are on their way, too.

I've got some tips for you, if you like. They've really helped me!
1. Be sure to equip some of your characters with the "Tenacious Attacker" accesory, if you don't have it already. It lets you absorb ex-force when you attack your opponent - filling the Ex-Gauge up quicker!
2. The strategy guide suggests fighting a level 100 ExDeath (with a cautious behaviour) when you have an EXP Bonus fight - this being a great way to quickly (and I mean, QUICKLY) level up your characters. I can guarantee it works.

Just thought those tips might come in handy! C:

CURSE SCHOOL!!
If Sephiroth were real, then it would definately be a good idea to have him use the Black Materia to summon Meteor and DESTROY YOUR SCHOOL! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

killerrabbit05Haha, I ALWAYS have Tenacious Attacker equipped on EVERY character.
But I was wondering about a fast way to level up... When you say experience bonus, does it have to be on your designated "Bonus" day or just any day that it shows up on the calendar? And that would be in the Quick Battle mode, I assume? I think I'll use that strategy for all my villains... 8)
And yeah... Firion IS my fav... :]
He's so fun for me to use, I love using his long distance attacks to reel in far-away opponents, then BASH them with his combo branching HP attacks! LOL! XD
Haha, I don't think I mentioned my favorite Heroes to use in Dissidia yet... OBVIOUSLY Firion is my most. 8} Followed by Squall, and Bartz... I think there are others, but I haven't played as those characters in a while and can't quite remember... :/

Haha, I wish I could use meteor to destroy school at times... Actually, scratch school entirely, just the subjects I don't like (ie anything not Biology/Art oriented)! Haha, but alas, these are the ways of college... GAWD does that make me seem old... 0_o

MacalaniaManNo worries! Everyone's entitled to their own opinion about things. c:

With regards to that Level 100 ExDeath levelling up thing:
It doesn't have to be on your designated bonus day. You know when you fight, and you see a chocobo with a gysahl green or musical note in the corner? Well those chocobos represent EXP bonuses - which means your next fight could give you an EXP bonus of anything like "1.2 times your EXP" or even "5 times your EXP". It's a good idea to do this on your bonus day (because that day would give more bonuses anyway), but whenever you see the chocobo then you need to fight (and YES, it is in Quick Battle mode). I recommend your opponent be a level 100 ExDeath or a level 100 Gabranth can be better! It can also help if you have the "Black Chocobo" play plan (because that plan would give you more bonuses more often). But even if you don't have the black chocobo, this method would still work.
(Gabranth obviously has no HP attacks when NOT in Ex Mode, so you wouldn't be in as much danger. But when he IS in Ex Mode - STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!)
I would give this level up method 5 stars/100%. It really does work, and I can guarantee that! 9 characters at level 100 is proof of how well that method has worked for me!
:3

Let me know how it goes for you.

killerrabbit05Oo, okay, I shall try it! I've got the Black Chocobo plan, so I think that'll help lots (like ya said!)!
I'll proly die a few times at first, but as long as I get SOME levels, it'll be super helpful! Thanks so much for the awesome level up tip! XD
And today's my bonus day too... XD

MacalaniaManYour bonus day is Saturday? MINE TOO!
It just seems like the best day to have as your bonus day, being on the weekend of course!
When I was leveling up Tidus using the "level 100 ExDeath" method, I had Tidus (at level 22) fight against ExDeath (level 100). My God; that fight was so long! I saved the replay, and I think that fight was over 10 minutes long.
Somehow, and I mean SOMEHOW, I managed to survive the battle (with many close calls) and levelled up Tidus 15 times!! Level 37 after one fight!

Anyways; the moral of that little story is: Yes, it will take time to get those levels and Yes, you could die (I think that fight was a fluke!) but to have a character level up so many times after one fight is SO WORTH IT!! So, Good Luck with that method. Let me know how you get on with it.

How about a new topic, now?
Of all the FFs you've played, do you have any Favourite F inal Fantasy moments?

I have lots. Some of them being:
1. The scene in FF8 where Squall and Rinoa dance in the SeeD graduation ceremony. I love that scene so much, that I've even watched it again and again on Youtube.
Here's the link if you wanted to see it:

2. The scene in FF10 where Tidus and Yuna have their embrace in the water. Oh, how I love that moment!

killerrabbit05OMG, I watched the dancing video in FF8 just the other day! XD
Haha, it's so funny, at first Squall is so clumsy, but then he decides, what the hell, I'll just do it! XD

Haha, I have WAY too many fav moments... I think I'll list them in a new post up top because the space is getting really small down here...

LOL "She has combination skin!" XD Oh man, that was pretty funny...

MacalaniaManLOL!
I'm glad you saw that parody vid!
"Look at my shoes! They have buckles on them!"
"My dress is blue - I HATE BLUE!!"
"Oh no! They've come back for me! Quick, hide the stash!"
"You smell like Fabreeze - You smell like muffins!"
Some of my favourite parts.

You're right; it is getting rather small down here!
I guess we should just carry on with the conversation up the top.
SEE YOU THERE!! ^^

PhoenixDThanks for all your comments on my drawings. :)

Responses to some of the things you said:

About the time it took to draw Davy Jones:
about 8 maybe 10 hours

And about drawing carefully:
When I was younger I used to draw very slowly, carefully and precisely. But with years of practice one learns to draw much faster and with less effort but still accurately.

MacalaniaManThanx for getting back to me!

Most of the things I draw don't take very long but when it comes to drawing something that needs more time, it sort of bugs me coz I just want to get it done! But I suppose great things take a great amount of time.
Thanx for the advice! Lookin forward to seeing more pics from you. :D
