Have you been taking your classes? So cool. But hey, you gotta shrink! That's great Gabi. If you feel you can't talk to your parents about your feelings than you made the best next choice. I'm serious, this is wonderful. I hope this person can help you dispell some of your stress and anxiety. (To be honest, if I'm overwhelmed I see an Acupuncturist or my Hair Dresser. She always makes me feel better. ^^)
 
    Life in general is moving so fast that I really think its putting strain on all of us. I mean, whenever had we had to go to school, have top grades, support our families, work, read, study, socialize, and plan our futures all at once. *re-reads list* holy crap! My school councilor is breathing down our necks about making deadlines and stuff. Geez. I found out that my dream college is an art institute in Kansas. A really really expensive college, but I think artsy-designing in general is my strongest calling right now. *hunches shoulders* But I'm sooo indecisive about these things it's frustrating.
 
    Anyways, I've missed you Gabi! I'm glad to hear life is at least tolerable. ^^ But maybe that's too kind of a word. LOL just keep Steve close to you and you'll be safe!

Yeah, I know. My gal pals were all in mourning for Edward when the movie-officials picked Cedric-guy, but honestly, I see some potential in him. Some. I'll just have to wait and see him in make-up and Forks atmosphere to really decide if he works or not, but I'm so excited!

Yeah, I understand what you saying. Sometimes I think I come out a little snobbish when I whine about little things when there are children that are going hungry and their parents don't care. My problems seem so stupid after that perspective. *whacks herself* But still, I mean we try sooooooo hard to achieve, a little reassurance and leniency would be nice. (yeah right, in a perfect world...T.T) But exams-JEEBUS- they're already here! I swear the school staff is having races to see who can fit in the most tests before next quarter starts. Our mid-terms start next week, but then we have break so that will be nice.
 
    Had a major breakdown today at school. I think I scared some people. They really aren't use to my dark side...very dark side. So I came home depressed and thought "I'm gonna ride." So I rode my horsie-luv and felt much better. I don't know, maybe I will do that more often. I just need to find something to do that takes my mind off of things. *sigh* With my mom being a teacher now, she shows more favor towards the teachers than the tortured student. The betrayal!!!!! ^^

Okay first of all, I'm so sorry for not replying sooner! Second of all, how could your mother be upset if your suffering from a severe case of anxiety and stress? Can she not handle that sort of stuff? Going and seeing someone that allows you to just open up and rant could be the best thing, I agree. I have a tendency to want to please everyone at school and I build up that stress too. And when I explode...I EXPLODE! Good god it's horrible.
 
   Two years ago my acupuncturist told me that if the tip of your tongue is severely red, that means that you have a high level of stress and anxiety. Creepy, but it's true. See if the tip of your tongue is red. *glances in the mirror* Uh-oh, Mine is a little. T.T
 
    Anyways, I'm glad you have that teenage hotline. At least if you really really need someone to just talk to, you can call that number. I just go to Cady and rant (she hates it) but it helps.
 
    *sigh* One of my closest friends from elementary is starting to do things at school that aren't good. She's starting to spread rumors and lies...and she's doing things with guys that are creeps. It worries me because I love her to death, but she's so impulsive. I tell her to knock it off, but she doesn't listen.    It's disgusting. What's really bad though is that she's getting her liscense soon, and there's no telling what she'll be doing then...

Gabi, I am so sorry to hear that you have been having a difficult time! I've been meaning to reply sooner, but my life has taken a loop on me as well. (stupid life *beats it with a spoonful of sherbert*) I completely understand what you going through as far as stress and no motivation or inspiration to do artwork. You have to be in the creative mood, but when a job, stress, and exhaustion come into play, it's impossible to get anything done! I really hope you feel better soon, and don't be mad at yourself and focuse all that negativity towards little miss beauty queen at work. *laughs* Yes, you do have a point there! I always wonder how my sister's dark, cruel, sinister mind works... and she's a brilliant poet. (go figure.) ^^ Well, my dear, if you are perfectly fine with having a colorful range of emotions, there is no reason to get too frazzled. I mean...who doesn't have an unusual amount of emotions these days? I swear, living by today's standards is exhausting, and people do and feel strange things when they are exhausted. (Myself included) But I'm sorry to hear you has some disagreements with the parentals. I hope it's nothing too serious. At least... you're sort of getting a little (small, tiny,microscopic, not that very big) break at work. Things tend to work out in the end, I'spose...
 
     God, I wish I had a tub full of aloe-vera right now! I went swimming with the cuz and sis yesterday and totally fried my albino/pale fair vampire skin to a crisp! I'm as red as a tomato, and I can't lie on anything or my skin will flare with the contact of any harsh fabric. *sobs* And I wore sunscreen too! But OMG, you should of seen some of the people at the water park! There were girls who were falling out of their bikinis left and right, and there was this creepy fake-tan/muscle-man champion strutting along with his super-young tiny girlfriend. There were teenagers that just stalked around in their barely concealing swimwear, showing off and swinging their hips-it was hilarious!
 
    But anyways, don't stress too much! Emotions are bound to rage uncontrollably at some point of our lives, so just try to swim with the current!(Yeah, I know. So cheesy right?) School season is approaching fast, so I'm bound to start having anxiety attacks and good crying sessions. Cady's preparing her prep talks right now... ^^ Have a fantastic Monday, and I hope all goes well with the parents. And if you by chance write any interesting poems in the next couple of days, I'll be here to interpret their meanings ^^ Lav ya!

   Okay, so I just so happen to pass by this artist's profile and she had mentioned the worst fanfiction ever written about the most god awful Mary Sue to ever be created. Well, I found the link, and this person actually wrote this story evolving around Avatar:The Last Airbender, right? (I'm not sure you're familiar with the show?) But anyways, this artist did a commentary on this person's story, so the bold black lettering is her opinions and puns on the story. It. is. so. hilarious!

When my parents and I saw the movie, they said the book was way better...Actually, my cousin and I are trying to read the 5th Harry Potter book before this weekend so we can go see the movie with fresh details in our minds. (It's proving a little difficult though. We only have one copy. T.T) But we are both halfway through the book, so there is still hope!
 
      Well, it sounds like you are bored to death with absolutely nothing to do! ^^ (sarcasm) That's wonderful that your reading and sketching, and catching some much needed rest! Being bored with nothing to do is dangerous, I swear.But your job hunting! We celebrated the 4th of July this week and went to see some fantastic fireworks down at the lake. I wished I would have brought my camera to take a few pics, but it's so slow. Ah-well. ^^ Oh, and we bought tarot card decks!!! (Yeah, I sort of got my cousin and sister into the whole idea. We were pretty psyched when we found them. Heh heh...) They are soooo cool Gabi! And there are so many decks out there, it took us forever to choose! But we found this really awesome bookstore that's into the whole healing crystal, feng shui, good karma sort of thing, so I think I found my new favorite store. ^^

I'm hoping to get some good quality shopping time this weekend so maybe then. ^^ The rain has finally-YES finally-stopped and we are guaranteed perfect weather for the rest of the week! Yay! It's so wet and mushy here and the bugs and humidity are horrible. It's putting everyone in a murky mood lately. But, my mother took us to a museum yesterday and I decided to bring my sketch book along. (glad I did) I got some inspiration and some really cool sketch studies! ^^ But, anyways, how has my lovely friend been doing?

hehe, thanks, a really strange situation just occured last night. its not exactly one to be power hungry about... but its definately put me under pressure...
i've got a decision to make... and no matter which one i make... someone gets hurt.

the main reason power will never corrupt me is because of my happyness. its 85% friendship :D all my friends, including you and everyone else i talk to. ur all inspirations that have pushed me this far. if i get rid of those inspirations it'll mean that i stop getting better. thats why it makes me happy to have friends. and why i cud only leave em behind if i wer upset. pretty logical when ya think about it.

i know, i've already had my fair share of ups and downs because of how much power corrupts. but luckily, i have great friends to save me from it LOL which is lucky, because without out them i would have become power hungry LOL my friends are like a balance... sometimes when i get mad and stressed i try to throw them away and block them out. but i think most of em have learnt that in the end my heart stops me from doing so LOL

     Whenever my friends and I get together, we usually play a game of ghost with a stack of cards and a candle and try to speak to spirits. One time, we actually spoke to Elizabeth Bathory and when we asked if she was thirsty for blood, the card of 9 hearts was picked from the deck. It scared the living daylights out of us because it answered yes to our question and their were exactly 9 girls in the house. Creepy! But yeah, that is so awesome! Your tarot cards sound beautiful!

well if thats what it is, i think i've figured out what i have to do now. i have to become someone who is famous in life's history. thats something i've always dreamed of. i don't care about much other than becoming a legend. apart from michaela, seeing her dreams come true would be part of my happiness too. i'm even working on a story with her atm :D but i'm gonna keep a lid on it for now and carry on with project H.A.W.K. ASX all the way through to series 6 LOL

:D tarot cards are a good way of setting yourself life goals too ^_^ very handy for when u need to relax and focus. i refuse to use them myself tho LOL i only ever used them once, and it was a life prediction. it basically stated that in my present i can only get to whats in my future when i fully understand myself and what i want. and if i do that, then the last card (ten of cups) will be my present instead of future.

i'm just waiting for the time when i realise what that thing i'm missing is LOL coz ten of cups is the luckiest card.

A body tutorial? Yeah, but most of my pictures are of floating heads. heh heh, I'll think about it. Oh, and I curse your camera as well as mine! I hate it, cuz it has a four second delay and it takes dark fussy pictures too. *sigh* The inconvenience of technology...
 
      So I've been indulging myself in scary horror "most haunted" shows that have been on lately, and now I really hate myself. T.T I've been sleeping in the same room with my sister and cousin for a few days and Bart has been scaring the hell out of me with his late night visits. (He always has to make a dramatic lunge for the bed.) I'm so exhausted, yet it's so delicious to watch those horror shows. I also realized how many ominous mirrors and windows we have in the living room too. Meh... So how are you feeling lately? Better I hope. Tomorrow's Friday at last! *pulls you into a celebratory weekend-at-last-dance*

uv kinda confused me a little... but i know what i feels like to be the odd one out... thats the reason i felt alone, coz i was different to others. but then i realised thats what helps in a friendship. if i found someone completely the same it'd get to the point that we have nothing new to talk about LOL

    Now as for the drawing, I know exactly what you mean. I've been wanting to draw characters from my book I'm co-writing with a friend for a while now and I have them all in my head how I want them to look, but as for actually drawing them I get nowhere. But Gabi, you are a phenomenal artist, you should have no problem. ^^ If you post any character sketches, I'd really like to see them!

OMG, you rode on the Vampire again? That reminds me, a few days ago, a roller coaster car flipped on the tracks and the people in the ride were upside down for almost half an hour before help came! I forget where this all took place, but could you imagine? *winces* Heh heh, so it turns out you had a pretty awesome day? That's always nice. ^^ Yeah, I tried drawing just facial shots of guys last night and I think I did pretty fair on one, but the other has too skinny of a neck. T.T But you have a finished picture, and you can't submit it? I want to see it! Huh, too bad you camera doesn't work. We have a crappy digital camera too.

Hey, no need to apologize. Sometimes it helps to just get it out of your system. I do the same thing, only I go to Cady for a serious pep talk, or I come to you for advise. ^^ So a ten-hour shift at the coffee shop, huh? My god, you poor thing! You must of been dead on your feet! *reassuring hug* And to top it off, you had to get up super early the next day?... ouch! Hey, I would be bumming too. But you did some doodling right? I've been trying to work one drawing the other gender too, but I just can't seem to get it right. They always turn out too girlie.

Well, maybe in your case you should take it 15 minutes at a time. ^__^ Hee hee! (Wow, it's really thundering and lightning outside! EEEKKKK!) I think you have the right idea. You might not get much out of just doodling for an hour, but you would be honing you skills. I really do think that's a good idea.

Plus, that can allow you time to decide what direction of a career you want to go in and from there you can just take off. Plus, once you're exposed to how everything works, it can benefit you a whole lot better than just rushing into a huge University and being totally overwhelmed. *shrug* I'm thinking that's what I'm going to do. I think I'll finish my credits for High School early so I can take college classes my Junior and Senior years, then go to a local college for maybe two to four years before I even think about what career path I want to go in....I don't know. ^^

Okay, so I talked to Sean yesterday and he sounded fine. He told me the reason he wasn't at school was because his parents fell into some financial problems and he wanted to help them by dropping school for the moment to get a job. Well, he told me he was planning on taking another year of high school anyways, so it didn't make much of a difference. But he also said that he is trying to get a job at a college center where they can offer him free college classes. Anyways, it sounds like his family is doing better, and he is just trying to get some money to buy himself a new guitar and concert tickets for the summer so...
 
     We just caught up and talked like buddies, so I'm not worried. He was very mature about the whole thing and just wanted to see how I was doing so, yeah. ^^ You were right about the whole misunderstanding thing!

Heh heh, yeah... pretty messed up huh? Gabi, I don't know what to do! I tried calling him today, and no one answered, so... Urgh... why do I always attracted the weirdos at my school?

Actually my mom did bake some rather delicious chocolate chip cookies if you're interested? Heh heh, um yeah, the MAJOR news isn't really that spectacular, but I'm fretting again. Do you remember me telling you about Sean? The guy who asked me on a date? Yeah well, turns out he disappears for the last nine weeks of school and doesn't show up at all. No calls, nothing what so ever. So of course I'm confused, because there were rumors going around saying that the reason he wasn't showing up at school is because he just didn't want to and his parents weren't forcing him to. (which leads me to believe that it was my fault.) But anyways, I haven't heard from him in weeks and suddenly his friend Jared calls my house and my mom answers. (Sean is in the background of his friend call telling my mom what really happened, because she told him I was working my horse and asked him...) *big breath* So it turns out he got seriously sick and then got into a bad car wreck soon after and he missed too many days of school. He told my mom that he lost my number (how the heck did he get it back then?) and he wants me to call him.
 
     I think I will call him, just to put some neutral ground between us, but it is going to be a little awkward. Do you think this is a good idea? You always have the best advise, I couldn't help but ask your opinion....
 
     Anyways, too bad about your art project and good luck with the dragon lady! (you know I'm routing for ya! *wink wink*) My mom took my sister and I to see a movie today, and we saw Pirates 3! My gawd that was a long movie! 3 hours of intense battleship fighting, but it was awesome! Only the ending really sucked. Oh well, at least there will be a fourth coming out.
 
     But yeah, so Sean is going to be held back  this year and be sophomore with me. GREAT! Just what Avali needs. Urgh....

Once you are on that sugar craze and you have that music blasting, just co crazy on a scratch of paper and doodle down ideas. The closest thing to a roller coaster I've ever been on was probably the Batter Mountain ride at DisneyLand, and my Grandpa screamed like a little girl. Your right, some people might have it worse than you, but it doesn't mean you're not being harassed as well. Like I said, I don't like the thought of you or even Francine being in that sort of workplace when it's being run by a tyrant. I understand what you mean about not wanting to complain and make yourself look like a whining child, but you need to speak up for yourself Gabi. You can't let this woman walk all over you. Now, I'm not advising to cuss her out and spit at her feet, but maybe this is the time to have a calm talk with her and express your feelings. I mean, I know that takes courage to stand against your boss and voice your opinions, and she just might make life that much more intolerable for you, but I really think you can do it.
 
     *shrugs* I have to admit, I've never experienced someone with that kind of attitude or working in a place like that, so I probably can't give you the best of advise. (If I were in your scenario, I'd probably want to keep my mouth shut to.) But my dad worked under a boss who constantly put him down and tried to limit his privileges just because my dad wasn't one of his favorites. The guy was an idiot and really put my dad in a dark place that effected a lot of people, so I kinda understand what you're going through.
 
     Gabi, the most I can tell you is that everything works out in the end, and that I support you 100%. You ARE a very fun, happy, lovely person no matter what. At least you have Francine who shares your feelings and you guys can feud and brood over your boss all you want. That's always better than nothing! ^^

First of all Josie has NO work ethic. You're obviously working with a woman who dreams she's brilliant but in true reality she's nothing. She picks on you because she is intimidated by you. She thinks that you are going to make her look like a fool in front of everyone else (which you have brilliantly I'm sure ^^) Your smart, lovely, quick, sharp, and very opinionated and for some people, that scares the living shoot out of them. She probably feels that if she picks on you and your slight mistakes she will gain the respect from the others.
 
     And it also sounds to me that everyone working there is using you as their scapegoat which is highly unprofessional. I think Josie is having some serious issues and she is bringing those issues with her to work and dumping them on you, and that just creates hell on earth because of all the back stabbing and lecturing and what not... GRRRRRR..... (I really wish I could give this woman a piece of my mind. The idiot.)
 
     Gabi, mistakes are bound to be made, but that's how we learn. If we were perfect all the time and never slipped, that would just be freakin' scary. And never ever never think that you deserve what you get from that lady. You're probably the only one who is truly trying to work at that coffee shop! How ironic... Josie doesn't seem to have much of a life and will probably be doing what she is doing for the rest of her life (yuck), but you have a whole future ahead of you and all the qualities to strive for the greatest. You intimidate her so much that she feels threatened by you and her natural instinct is to protect her territory, because she knows how clever you are and how easily you could make her look like a fool.
 
     The only thing I'm concerned about is the fact that you are always getting put down and lectured. This place clearly has an unhealthy atmosphere about it, and I don't want you to feel trapped by it. Maybe you should plant a secret camera in the place and just let it run all day, then show  your parents or whoever what is really going on.

It's things like that that make me really really fortunate that I've met such a wonderful and caring person like you...*HUG* I was nearly in tears when I read you comment and can't thank you enough for the support. Patrick's loss hit us all hard, but mostly my mom who still remains quite about the whole thing. He was a happy old rabbit who had a good life, and you're completely right. He isn't truly dead, he's just begun to live. 
 
     Sometimes I get so overwhelmed at how much is changing in my life and I start to really panic, but who wouldn't? Sometimes I feel as if I have no control what so ever, and that I'm just along for the ride. But you made an excellent point. No matter how overwhelmed I feel, I will always have wonderful, brilliant people to surround me and support me (you being one of them). I just don't realize it, and I should.

     My mom's graduation went really well and all. She got to see her life-long friend, sister, and mom, but then her sister got food poisoning over the weekend and had to be taken to the emergency room by my dad, so they missed the ceremony, and and,it took Cady and I almost half an hour to swim through people until we found our mom after the ceremony, and my rabbit died! And I had to give a presentation on Egypt that following Monday and entertain and host, and memorize a monologue, and *sigh* TOO-MUCH! That's it, I forfeit! I'm done. LOL, I want school to end desperately! Ha ha. 0.o
 
     So yeah, the last week has been a complete fiasco, but I'm still alive! ...just completely exhausted. ^^ *questions sanity*

     Guess what?!?! My mom is finally graduating this weekend and she is getting her teaching degree in fine arts!!!! Guess what else? We went shopping for dresses today to wear at the special ceremony and I bought a dress with a PLUNGING neck line. I mean seriously! Plunging. Neckline. Oh and you know what? My dad doesn't like it. He he. The dress is a really pretty blue and it had hidden pockets, and the neckline isn't that bad...^^

Alright, here we go... The youngest brother was walking home from school one day and he found a white ferret sitting in the middle of the road. Well a car was coming and the ferret didn't move. The boy quickly picked up the lounging ferret before the car could crunch him with the pavement, thinking the whole time how stupid the animal was. When the boy and the ferret were safe on the side of the road, the ferret spoke to the boy and said, "Alas, you have just saved the mighty ferret spirit." The boy was amazed as the ferret hovered over his outstretched hand and winked at him with one of those glossy black eyes. "In order to repay your kindness I will let you in on a little secret." It spoke evenly, it's little paws tucked into his silky pelt. "The day you find a plastic pink polka-dotted ping-pong ball, I will grant you with all my ferret powers, until then...well, I bid you adieu!" And with that, the mighty ferret spirit disappeared in a cloud of smoke and the boy was left in a dazed stupor.      So the youngest son had a vision when he was a little boy about receiving a plastic pink polka-dotted ping-pong ball with supernatural powers. When the boy received the ping-pong ball, a chain of events would unfold. He would discover the cure for cancer, invent flying cars, and open up our world to the future practice of swimming in the air...

     Once there was a man who had three sons all different in age. When all his sons graduated from high school, he asked each of them what they wanted as a gift. The first and oldest son asked for a new car, so the dad bought him a nice flashy car. The second oldest son asked for a new computer, so the father bought him the most expensive one he could find. Finally he asked the third and youngest son what he wanted for a graduation present, and the son plainly said, "Gosh, I've always dreamed of owning a plastic pink polka-dotted ping-pong ball." A bit confused, the father searched high and low for a ping-pong ball to match his son's description, but found none. He sadly told his youngest son, but the son said, "Aw, that's alright dad."
 
     Years passed and all of the man's sons were successful business men with healthy little families. As a way to award them, the father asked each one what they wanted the most. The first said two plane tickets to Hawaii for his next vacation. The father found him and his wife two first class tickets to Maui and back for a full week! The second son asked for supplies to remodel his new home in the city. The father bought him all the supplies he would need to build a second house! Finally, he asked his youngest son what he wanted most and the son replied, "Gosh, I've always wanted a plastic pink polka-dotted ping-pong ball." Still a bit confused at his son's request, he searched high and low for a ping-pong ball that matched his son's description. Disappointed that he couldn't find his son a ping-pong ball, the son only smiled and said thanks for trying.
 
     A few years passed by and the youngest son was diagnosed with a deadly disease and was on his death bed. Heavy with grief, the father visited him one day and asked, "You know, all these years I've been sending all my money on your older brothers, and not once did I buy you anything." The youngest son only smiled at this. "Dad, do you really want to know why I wanted a plastic pink polka-dotted ping-pong ball so badly?" The father's eyes widen in curiosity and he nodded. "I wanted a plastic pink polka-dotted ping-pong ball because-" Unfortunately the son died right before he was finished, leaving his father hanging on his last words.

     Do you want to hear something hilarious? Last night I was drifting in and out of sleep and of course Bart was sleeping right on top of me!     Yeah...I've recovered from my little anxiety attack since Monday, but it was a bad one. I freaked out cuz we had a quiz in Geometry and I didn't finish half of it in the twenty minute time limit when school was let out. (I have that class at the end of the day) Well, I'm one of those people who avoid getting D's or C's or even B's for that matter and decided I would ask my teacher for additional time to work on it. This is what happened.
 
     Me: Mrs. Hood, is there anyway possible that I could finish this quiz tomorrow?
Hood: No. I'm not offering that opportunity to any of my students...why should I offer it to you?
Me: ...0.o....ok, then I'll flunk it.
 
Yeah, I ended up making a 67% (My first D in that class), but I'm not letting it get to me. I'm human, I screw up. Whatever. XP

I just finished Blood Confessions of Elizabeth Bathory (You know the crazy countess who bathes in virgins' blood?) Yeah...she ends up going insane towards the end and butchering every servant girl she can find. Sort of Disturbing. 0.o  Eragon! I love that book. A little slow at times but the story is incredible. Have fun with that one! Anyways enjoy the rest of your weekend. The weather here is horrible. Thunderstorms are coming right and left of us so I'm forced to stay off the computer during lightning. ...Yeah, the people needed a reason to fire him so they resorted to racism, blaming my Dad for being Chinese and screwing up some job he did overseas in Shanghai a few years ago, which he didn't! But you wanna know some good news? After my dad left, they went bankrupt and were sold off to another company. LOL! So really it was a gift that my dad got out of all that. But anyways...I'm glad you liked the flashes! I cracked up laughing on that Itachi one, especially when Sasuke started calling him weasel. Hee hee, funny!  Guess what?!?!? We went shopping today, and I bought the cutest cocktail dress with leggin's and some supper awesome new shoes!?!?! Cha! But then we went to this really upscale shoe store (where I got my shoes) and the salesman was being a complete asshole to my mother and basically chucked our boxes into the bag before shoving them into her arms. The jerk! Cady gave him the finger behind his back! People weren't that pleasant today, something must be in the air... How was your day today? Is your hand feeling better? I've got blisters on my feet from my new shoes. just do spikey fluffy shoulder length hair with a fringe. do you get what i mean? it'll look exactly how it should if you do that. and make sure his classic side burns/ dreadlocks (depending on what you call them because of how they look) don't go further than his chin. and there u have it.

i don't mind ^^. oh and i made some changes to my teen hawk which is what you were drawing now has shorter hair. his side burns have been shortened to his chin and his hair looks more like a fluffy and spikey red mullet. i call it a mullet because it only just comes down to his shoulders when he's in school.

Things happen for a reason, and the little squirrel is probably in a better place. You did everything you could, and you even gave him a proper burial! That counts for something. Gosh, how horrible... I am so sorry! I hate it when these things happen, because you feel so guilty, but just take comfort in knowing he's probably in a better place where he can roam and climb and chitter chatter without having to worry about survival. *Hug* You did your best.

     Yes, I agree with you. Killing them doesn't sound like a humane way to get rid of them. When we had a family of skunks living in our barn (the little babies were SO CUTE!), we had to very carefully convince them to get out, but squirrel is a whole other game. Don't worry, I would feed them tons of goodies too! XD

I did another speech competition yesterday and brought home a second place in PROSE!!!! Woo-Hoo! I had to do that piece like three times because we had prelims, semi-finals, then finals...urgh....I hate it now... Hee hee. But seriously how did the play go? I envy your school. Our school doesn't really support the arts and drama so we're pretty much on our own. It stinks.

So Justin (the flirty jerk) told me a few weeks ago that this friend of his was madly inlove with me, but he wouldn't tell me his name right? (the Bastar* wanted to torment me with it) Well today I got some flowers in the office at school and they were from this other guy in my speech class named Sean! So it turns out he is the one who likes me (and he's a really awesome guy), but I don't know how I feel about him... God, I don't know what to say to him! (besides thank you for the flowers...but)

     Today was another grueling day of the Sequoyah Extravaganza speech tournament. I worked at the ballot table with Alycia ( a really awesome teammate of mine) and experienced the fires of hell first hand. First of all, ballots of the events were not written correctly( there were no rooms, times, and events written on some), Judges were showing up, but their competitors weren't. We had major conflicts with events happening at the same time and people having to dash off to their other things before they were dropped. Oh, and if one of us asked Mrs. Landon (our speech coach) too many questions or problems that judges were having, she'd snap our heads off about it. I mean, seriously, there is no reason to shoot the messenger. And then this really really rude, snippy, scary girl came up to us all dramatic, demanding that we help her find where her room was.
 
     Well, 1:30 starts comming around and Judges start backing out on us! We had to scrape what volunteers we had and get them to judge events, then we had people wanting to judge other things than what they were assigned to...and, and...NO HELP FROM MRS. LANDON! God, I wanted a flamethrower soooooooo bad, maybe that would of shut everybody up. And it really didn't help when Alycia kept saying, "One of us is going to break down and cry this year." I seriously thought I was going to bawl....
 
     But...here I am, alive and and still somewhat sane. I didn't cry (thank god), but I was deeply insulted by another dude in my class who is the biggest clutz. He literally made himself choke on my homemade brownies from scratch that I slaved over for the snack room, and spit it in the trashcan right infront of me! I'm going to kill him! I swear........
 
     Anyways, congrates on getting back at Josie. She must of looked really stupid when you pulled that quick one on her. *bear hug* That's my Gabi! I'm so proud of you! I think we deserve a Congratulations for surviving this weekend!HOO-RAA! *passes out with exhaustion*

*heavy sigh* Sheesh, what a week! Returned from a successful competition, then had to turn right around and start planning our tournament that we would be hosting the following weekend. Oh, and we got another snow day. Eeeeeeeekkkkkkkk! Right now, I'm not sure I want to kill myself of convince myself I love my speech class. My speech coach is being the devil from hell (we came up with a new nick name for her "The BIG 6") I swear, she's out to get us! And Betsy (her legendary snow shovel she beats children with, which is an inside joke) too. Grrrrrrrr.... * a few moments later*
 
     So I'm a little tired, i guess. I really do love that class and my team mates are awesome! (All except for JuJu "Justin". I have disowned him for the time being. The freakin' flirting, non helpful, rude, stupid jerk that he was tonight. He didn't help at all with the staff work while me and all the other girls were working our butts to the bone, he's off trying to woo the girls from the other schools!~!!)  But, meh. I have a warm cup of White tea and my jammies. Ha, yes. Warmth...
 
     Anyways, thank you so much for the compliment! I was utterly surprised that I qualified my Monologue in second place! I'm still shocked. But you'll never believe what my pieces are. There so Avali material. I did a humorous piece on a woman who is planning her father-in-law's funeral, and my dramatic piece was about an older woman who visits her husband's grave and starts sobbing because she misses him so much. The scary thing is that I was in such deep character in my dramatic that I literally just started crying. I don't know what in earth possessed me at that moment, but it was FREAKING awesome!!!!!! I was on the floor kneeling by my chair "the gravestone", and...and...I just cried. I almost didn't finish my line!  Wow! I'm so keyed up right now. Hee hee. How's work been treating you lately?

here's a list of facts you didn't know about the series of pH:
1.Hawk was originally going to be called skull
2. Hawk didn't have a brother or the name rubidium until one day in my science lesson i learnt about alkali metals
3. mercury wasn't in the picture in the beginning and it was going to be hawk and phoenix. This was also before verzias was in the picture
4. hawk is actually from a computer game which was never completed called galaxy 8 (this is also a slight hint towards series 3)
5. Series 3 was originally the first chapter in the series but was eventually adapted 2 ways and they were a bloodangel intro/ Verzias intro. I eventually opted for a verzias intro because of reason 6 being too crazy
6. verzias was originally someone payed to get rid of hawk and then just die
7. If blood angel had become a main character she would have had a bigger role in hawks creation than what she will have in man of shadows
8. phoenix became hawks rival as a met a friend with her short tempered personality and it tottally clashed with my carefree personality in real life. (you all know her as phoenixh20)
9. Verzias was made by the FAC user with the same name, but i drew the first concept as a request back in 2005
10. The idea for project H.A.W.K. was originally daydreamed just over 10 years ago so i've had a lot of thinking time on the plot mechanics of this LOL
11. both mercury and hawk wear branded clothing by each others name (you'll see what i mean in the manga when everythings all fixed)
12. Mercury is based on my girlfriend chantal which is why she has the same name
13. phoenix is christened kelly because of phoenixh20
14. hawk is obviously called craig... i did mention my name was craig in my profile right?
15. Verzias' name is verzias duh!!!! LOL his code is man of shadows. ask the FAC user verzias why he's gotta be complicated lol
16. there was gonna be a character called alex... the less said about him the better. My friends will know what i'm talking about *shudders*
17. 3139 was also my candidate number for my GCSE's so me and rubidz have a lot more in common than you thought
18. Silver bullet became a character shortly after my dad died as a tribute to him (you might know this one, but i know there are some people who aren't too familiar with the character yet.
19. both my girlfriend and my two best friends go by their typical character names on most websites etc. sometimes my gf doesn't eg. on here she is shadowrulez
20. whether or not the character of mercury will have blonde hair in the film is yet to be officially confirmed.

i wrote the fist scene of sweet 16 again. and it's in my fac storys if i haven't alredy told you^^ i showd it to my teacher and he didn't like it. he said it was written in book format and it shouldent be past tense and that there is no need to go into detail. it also sounded like it was narated. he said when you write a script you write it as if you can see what is happening so it should be in presesnt tense so i have re writ it all again and i'm on scene 6 now

I was in such deep character, that on my dramatic part of my monologue, I literally started bawling with my shoulders shaking uncontrollably! It was freakin' awesome, yet sort of scary... Three cheers for wonderful days!

hahaha, yes and so very true! This morning my mom was severely pissed off at the neighbors because they were abusing their horse. All the horse did was not let them catch him. But the husband had a rope tied around the horse with one of its hooves tied up and the dumb A**hole was trying to provoke it to go forward. Now this is a really nice horse. His name is cutter and he is the sweetist thing. The guy took all his fustration out on the horse and kept punching him and punching him for almost two hours. We caught them in the act with the Camera and video camera, and my mom even called a vet who the guy was working for... They caught us watching and they've been hiding ever since. I feel so sorry for cutter, these people abused their horse in front of their children and for what? They make me so mad! Grrrrr......these people are idiots....

koolio. well school was torture for me. but i'm glad i left when i did because they've had to change the menus for food because of this evil english @$$ called jamie oliver who complained about school foods. and now you can't even buy diet coke ther. coz it had too much caffiene -_- but i'm now in college so :D me iz happy ^^ and you can buy lots of healthy but not tasteless foods ther ^^

Gawd I know, I can't draw a male to save my life...The females I draw are pretty passable, but needless to say, I need practice with the dudes... They always turn out to girlie or feminine...urgh... People ordering stuff that's not on the menu...HA HA HA! My home phone number is like one digit away from being the number of a feed store, so we have people calling and asking for stillwater milling all the time. (One of these days, I'm planning on answering and pretending it is Stillwater Milling. Mwahahahaha!)

Very fustrating, if you ask me, but I'm sure you'll pull through. I can't believe the paint store only mixes liter amounts-That's crazy! So you'll be paying triple the amount for paint you won't really need. *sigh* Getting art supplies no-a-days is getting so difficult. My mother goes stir crazy trying to find clay and canvas or matt boards for her classes and she had no luck. Grrrrrr!

Those two cover wood textures.....there is a good feather tutorial here on fanart. Just look in the tutorial section...I think it should be with the digital coloring stuff. It teaches you how to create single feathers....if you want others though (like another technique to create a feather or wings) I'll give ya these ones...one of these links leads to nowhere though, and uh...I'm not really sure which one it is....*sweatdrop* I remember discovering it a while ago....

Hey, thanks for the comment on my recent Verzias pic ^-^ I'm glad you liked it!! So, how have ya been lately? Lol, I felt the need of a change of avatar....lil old Envy and Albel were getting boring, and I realised a while ago the neck was too long...so like, Kenshin randomly appeared in chibi form on the TV so I drew it O.O Thankyou for liking him though!! He set the dojo in the background on fire. Lol, I joined the anime vidcaps site this week and I have really strange Kenshin expressions that I'm putting up...most my pics so far are just idiotic lol. The dodge and burn tools on photoshop are great to use when you've got a few different shades of color. I usually make my base colors, then shade and highlight, before finally using the dodge and burn tool here and there just to add a bit more color. The dodge tool is awesome for shiny objects and using in eyes. Also for hair too lol. Anyhow, I'll see yas later!! Take care ^_O

ok since rbdm hawk gave you no helpful advice. to make him look mysterias hide his eyes from view. and you could draw him looking down. the hood also helps if you whant to draw it up. it's copmletly up to you. to make him look dark you can colour his hoody black and give him a dark back ground. it dosen't have to be fancey. there easy to do on photoshop. well i hope that helped you. you don't have to take my advice if you don't want to but it's here just in case. so any way how did it go? i hope you got that job you wanted. wat job is it. ok so i'l see ya later let me know if i helped in any way ok^^ bye

if ur tryin to compare ur style with mine or verzias, ur going about it all wrong, try ur own style of verzias, and ur own way of making a character convey those emotions, insted of thinking that ur style can't match verzias's or mine, try thinking about how to convey ur own methods of darkness and strength in a charrie

sorry, my minds blank on verzias, he's a little hard to customize compared to the others if u wanna keep his edge in the picture, sometimes with dark characters it's best to keep it simple so that u don't accidentally make them look too open

well if it blurs a little. open it up in photoshop, click filters, sharpen and then smart sharpen to hopefully stop the problem

yeah. i have a naruto pic. its in pencil so the scanner blurs it T_T. and i cant remember what i did to prevent it on my pencil version of verzias. my linearts come out perfect tho its strange

oh and you don't have to do a background if you don't whant to

dpi, means dots per inch, when u scan using the computer, u shud be given the option to make it higher or lower, when u want to scan a drawing, its best to set it to about 600dpi

Thanks for the wonderful comments!!! To answer your question, my computer actually contributes to most of the backgrounds' effects. I like taking several shades of a color and just watering it all over the paper, then I go back in and add darker tones and tweak it until I think its done. Sometimes I go overboard though! Hee hee.
