All right, people. It has officially been 2 years since I have joined FAC; 2 years since I have uploaded my pictures for the world to see; 2 years since I have made all of my great friends that have become my art family. And after these 2 years, and after I have uploaded 450 images, I am deciding to leave FAC. I guess that I'm just tired of this place and I'm tired of the way it works. Lately, FAC's been lagging, and I feel that the redesign of FAC has made it seem more like deviantArt. Another thing is that a lot of my friends have either left or have accounts here as well as on devArt. So everyone, I am leaving FAC and officially moving to deviantArt, where all my upcoming work will be displayed. If you wish to continue watching my art, then look for me at devArt; my username there is KitsuneKimono, and here's the link to my gallery: http://www.kitsunekimono.deviantart.com . Although I am moving, I will not be deleting my gallery. It will remain here at FAC until the website becomes nonexistent or until FAC decides to delete my gallery themselves.

Chapter 5 is finally up! Please read it if you get the chance- I would love to hear your input. Just to warn you, it's LONG, so your eyes will be looking at the computer screen for a while. Also, I apologize for the story format. I'm trying to find a format that looks good and is easier to read :)

Photoshop is REALLY expensive, about $600, so if you ask for that, ask for it for Christmas or something. Ohterwise, I'd wait until college to get it. Your college can get you very nice discounts on programs like that.Shinigami-no-Kaze on February 26, 2006, 1:40:12 AM
Thanks for all your comments! I really appreciate them.Yes, I use Photoshop CS for most of my art, but I've also started using Corel Painter IX. The only picture posted that used Painter is Tattooed Angels.

Aw, thanks for the second comments. :)As for faded backgrounds-- I haven't used PSP in forever since my old computer (which had that and my scanner) has been shot; BLARGH -- but if I remember correctly...
You should make your background on a separate layer, try setting the layer status from 'normal' to 'multiply'... I think that'll ensure that the background doesn't cover the main foreground lines/coloring (though it's a technique I learned just a few months ago; I've already forgotten how I did Iku and Tism's picture... ;-; ) and then set the layer opacity low. I think that should work. Tell me if it doesn't and I'll troubleshoot some more. @@; I'm trying to get Dad to find our PSP disk to install it on my new computer, and then I can play around with it and tell you what works.

hey hun, you're only 3 pics away from your 400th pic XD I just hit my 400th deviation on DA, funny xDI got kicked off fanfiction.net. I don't know why. I tried logging in to upload my new House of Wax fanfic, but it won't let me log in, says my account's been closed. Yet I received no e-mail of it (they e-mail you, I've gotten warnings xD) And when I typed in my e-mail to get my password (I thought maybe I was screwing that up and it was giving me the wrong message) it gave it to me with my e-mail & pen name. So yeah, I'm confused. Oh well. Not a big lose, most of my stuff is original now anyway xD Bet they got fed up with my lemons xD
