these two took me a few hours in gimp. these were drawn directly of screen shots of GNG that I took myself.
the old way I did this it took me almost an entire day to get one picture down. these two I made in a few hours the first one yesterday and the second a few hours today yeay!

you can't really see it well, but her hair is a really light silver, and her eyes are that mako-enhanced color. And the parts of her pants that look brown are actually supposed to be orange... -_-' the res of her pants are brown though, and she wears combat boots. :D

I would love to see you draw the scene you described in our role play Pirate souls, where we get to see Hiko's soul. the whole bond by rusty chains idea gives me chills and it would make a killer image. maybe even having the queen sort of lean over him stroking his cheek?

I looked it up a little found one site with pictures from the Maetel legend http://www.animegalleries.net/album/8411 one thing I was thing about rereading that bit in the role play was. would she be in her former human body at that point or her mech one. we know that she was in the dark mech body during the figth later but as she is inside Hiko's soul. would she not chose to be in a body that reminded of Queen millenia? in other words her body before she became mechanized? perhaps with dark hair instead of golden and white skin to sort of give of the bad queen still? just some rambeling thoughts.

My main idea was a bit of dressing crossover between Stella and my oc, Karyana. I was thinking either Stella's on-stage outfit (while normal) or that dress the Earl bought her when she was under. As for Karyana's outfit, I'll let you choose.

It was originally released by Eternity Comics in late '89, and ran till '93. It's one of the few American-drawn comics of that time that I would dare to say could be American manga/doujinshi.

The first thirteen were drawn by Ben Dunn (author/artist of the first 'Ninja Highschool' comics) and written by Robert Gibson. The ones following those were drawn by Tim Eldred.

The stories themselves take place after 'Arcadia of My Youth' and tell their own version of events leading up to the very beginning of a Machine Man story arc (unfortunately, I think the series was cancelled before they could get that far, or interest was waning).

I found a majority of my set in a local comics shop (the few I was missing, I found online at Mile High).

Hmm....I can't really think of anything right now for my half of the trade (what series are you familiar with?) I'd feel better asking for a piece that comes from shows we both know about (especially since I've been thrown a few 'curve balls' with some requests I've taken, and had to do a little 'research' for them so I'd know what I'm drawing, lol)

Hi! Its me! I was wondering if you could draw me my character for me. Her name is KiYasha. She has a high ponytail, black hair tied in a purple scrunchi. Her pants are that of a pristess, the color is red. Her torso is made into two parts. A black chest plate I think like the one on Arashi with the beads that InuYasha wears around his neck. Oh! Okie-da. Lol. Let's see...Tashimi's hair reaches her waist and is just kept down. Her bangs part in the middle of her forehead too. As for her clothes she wears just a plain old black sleeveless dress, that falls to her knees, with a white sash tied around the middle.

ShiroKirei's hair is down to her thighs, kept down as well, but her bangs do not part like Tashimi's does. Her clothes consist of a long sleeve white dress with a loose neck to it that falls to her shoulders, but doesn't have a sash with it. It's length is down to her ankles.

And ShadowsMoon has hair that reaches his mid-back, but it's pulled high into a ponytail. His clothes are a pair of dark black pants, a long sleeve black shirt, and black shoes. Neither Tashimi or ShiroKirei wear shoes, btw. ^_^

If I have left anything else out please tell me and I shall give the info to you as well. Thanks in advance for the pic! ^_^

I must get around to reviewing (kinda rushing now since Trinity Blood's coming on shortly) but I'll review hopefully tomorrow. I loved that scene in the series when Kenshin realises he's alright, and goes to hug him but misses...that was priceless when he flew into the shelves instead. But um...I'll try and get your request done ASAP. So you have unfinished requests too? I hate having them build up, but lately I've been unable to draw very well. My mind's tricked itself into believing it can't draw, so...been trying to overcome that. Do you ever experience that too? When you think you can't draw? I don't know why it's happening, but man it's frustrating lol. Oh, I'll leave you in peace now. Rambled too much ^.^' I'll see ya later sometime!!

Oh yeah, I can certainly relate! Especially when it comes to inking! There are times when I can draw okay, but then, when it comes to inking, my hand's shaking too much to even try it! (That's what happened with 'Sound the Bugle Page Two'....Or was it Page Three? Either way, thankfully enough, with some of the mistakes, I was able to cover them with colored pencil!)

I also hate having requests build up (I don't like to keep people waiting, but the previous two years had been heck to get through! My old scanner died, AND I lost internet access! Thus a lot of the requests I still have to finish are from two years ago! x _ X;;;;)

Last, but certainly not least, that scene you'd mentioned between Kenshin and Hiko. It was hysterical in the anime, but even more priceless in the manga! (Hiko even says that he's 'Not into hugging guys' and to 'not leap at him like that again') Hmm....wonder what his reaction is to fangirls leaping at him, then? lol.

The way I found out about the series was that I was in a convenience store one day and saw one of the VHS tapes from the first OAV set and thought "Hey, this looks interesting...". I never realized that, by the end of the day, I would be hooked!

I don't want to wait another ten years for the 50th anniversary, only to find out that they STILL won't release it! Well, if you really want one, uh, I love elves and blue haired guys, although my fav hair/eye color combo is black (hair) and green (eyes). I love pale skin. Not big on modern-day clothing. I like coloquial or loose clothes..... I guess that's a little general, and I've asked for the same request from everybody but it's kool to see the varying results. I don't believe I made a request and somehow I get the feeling you may have confused me for someone else, so you don't have to do this if you're too busy or something. I understand completely where you're coming from. I look back on all my old junk and, as you so well put, "shudder." Of course I do look at some of the more recent stuff and say to myself, If someone had handed this to me two years ago and said, "you're going to draw this one day," I wouldn't have believed them.
