you know, i think i know what the problem is.

back when i lived at my old house, i used to go to a private catholic school. uniforms and all. i was a perfect little child-- never lied, never misbehaved, always did all her work when she was told, an A+ student. i wanted to be a scientist, or a paleontologist, or a nurse! whoooooo... [/sarcasm]

until 7th grade, when we moved to where we are now. from the first second i stepped into that middle school, i knew i had to change or i wasn't going to last. my attitude, the way i talked, the way i walked, the way i looked. it took me only two years to go from innocent-naïve-perfect-child to black-hoodies-and-anime-kid. i don't think my mom likes that change. at all. i think she blames my friends for it too. (not my fault everyone else completely ignored me...)

i just want to get it into her head that this is who i am and that i'm not planning to change.

ok, i think i've regained my composure/sanity. i let my anger/frustration/determination come out in a pic that i'll post tomorrow. funny how emotion-driven pictures come out better.

problem with that is that if i try to fight her, she shuts me down -- yells at me, grounds me, removes privileges.... it doesn't give me many options :/
