I know you loathe Mario games, bust hear me out, I am going to give you one of my highest recommendations for a game: Mario & Luigi - Bowser's Inside Story. It's one of the greatest RPGs I've ever played, I'd buy a DS just for it.

Also, you get +1 kudos from big McSnapple for being a former Samus Aran main.

You don't play many people in Smash I assume. lawl...

Good players barely use counter, they only use it if the opposing player is VERY predictable (i.e. Critic's Sonic Down Airs).

Is every character "ew" minus Sonic?

I won't deny you've met problem a lot of nice Sonic fans, but the ones I talk to are arrogant, self-indulged, and sole-opinionated elitists who don't accept anything other than the Sonic franchise (and sometimes Pokemon ¬_¬). I have met some gems here and there, like Mish for example, but I see her everyday, so I guess that's void.

Also, Nintendo fans as a whole is kind of vague, as there are many many series within it, but that's besides the point.

On a lighter note, want to Smash? I'm feeling festive.
