Well I recomend first, if u dont do it so yet, to create a new layer per thing you are gonna color, that included the background. Also, if u r a little lazy or prefer the easy way, try donwloading the set of brushes on internet of clouds, moon, grass, trees, etc, that would help the kind of backgorund you wanna make. Also take into account the light dimensions and the shadows. For that I use mostly the Burn and dodge tool.

well you can literally get box sets mega cheap off ebay. the outlaw star boxset is three discs and is about £10 - £20 pounds depending on the seller. if you want the easy way, thats as easy as it gets lol and ther at a high quality so you'll definately not regret buying the box set. personally, i'm trying to find season 2 its supposedly been released on dvd too now. but gene isnt in it

*looks at all the fanarts* you know, there's one thing i've always noticed this manga has that the others don't when it comes to fanart. Usually fanarts of a manga look identical in style to the manga. the fanart for project H.A.W.K. and MOS is more in the artists style of ther own. its kinda like they draw them so we can see what they see in our art, if that makes sense LOL

as far as i know caesium is too dangerous in theory to put in a person though. but for the record. if a real human was enginered with rubidium, they wouldn't be like hawk, but they'd have a high amount of electricity running through the body. we all have electricty in our bodies, but a person engineered with rubidium would have it on a greater scale. and would run a higher risk of spontaneosly combusting. but may also be able to breath fire. which might just be proof that dragons could exist

(plus the sparks are purple) if u need more information on what the sparks look like. the chemical used for the purple colour in fireworks is rubidium. betcha never knew that did ya LOL WIKIPEDIA RULES. type rubidium in on wikipedia. u'll find a lot of puns to do with my character. including the fact its most compatible with the chemical mercury LOL and that it's based on the word rubidus from latin which means deep red. and i'll let you find out what caesium means for urself LOL

oh and the article actually states that it is possible to bioligically enhance a person with rubidium on a theoretical basis. its never been tried. but its been sed to be a possibilty. which is something i never knew until today

okies, well his shirt is black. his over coat will be rough like leather if you were to detail it. and the aura is like thick sparks surrounding him in a circular motion which get closer and rip his clothing when he starts to channel it to a certain point (eg. in his arm, leg etc.) his jeans are a darker blue than when he was younger (to resemble that he's not as bright as he was when he had his innocence) his trainers are black toe with the rest white and black soles.

(uv drawn the busters before so i'll skip that, but if you include his sword it's basically gold plate pattern over red on the scabbard, with a black handle with white trigger and gold R at the end of the handle. if u remove the sword it is katana shaped steel on on half and jagged black carbon with vented plates on the other)

his hair will be a dried blood shade of red instead of the light shade he normally has, he has fangs and stands (ever so slightly) hunched

it must also be noted that the sparks never pass his knees when he has his feet on the floor or is running, this is because of the very logical reason that he wouldn't have any legs left if they did LOL

hawk also usually looks extremely stressed and feral in this form. and sometimes desperate as he can't hold it for very long at all. i'm telling you this so that you can put urself in his situation and hopefully get the right emotions to be shown on his face.

i think with that info you should have a hopefully clear picture of what his feral stage looks like.

well if ya wanna be super feckin daring with the blood on hawk. he bleeds a lot more when he hits feral stage. this is because the aura of rubidium around his body weakens his skin even though it makes him faster. in the first fight i've got planned for hawks feral stage, his fists are gonna be completely disintegrated and pulped with blood. feral stage looks just like his human form, apart from he hunches slightly, has fangs and his hair is a much darker shade of red as it's blood stained from his weak skin surrounded by a purple sparking aura

either way, after seeing that picture, i have a request. i see what a graphics tablet can do for an artist. so much that it takes out the basic challenges, but it gives u new challenges too on top. so much that i have a request which will put ur editing skills to the test. i want to see how good you are with that tab when you draw something a bit higher up the characters and metal.

draw rubidium hawk and verzias again. but this time, add electricity to hawks blade, and dripping blood to verzias'. drawing simple images is something the graphics tab is very good for. now i want to see something advanced since it's an advanced tool. GO MENTAL WITH THE GORE!!! I DON'T CARE WHICH ONE LOOKS KOOLER IN THE FIGHT!!! JUST GO MENTAL LOL

in other words, if i think back... verzias was before rubidium hawk. but not before the original brown spikey haired skull/ hawk. there is a picture somewhere with the shield buster drawn very badly LOL

oh and not only that. but u only designed the blades when verzias was first drawn, and they still date late 2004 i've got the first concept of them right here in my graphics folder along with ur wil e. cyote picture. all of it dated. and for ur info once again. the sheild buster (not only did they come first) had vertical blades. the battle claw had horizontal. but suprise suprise they magically became vertical just like the mono sheild buster. so if anything, i'd say u copied first LOL

oh btw, in all technicality, i hold most of the copyrights to ur character as most of his original art was mine LOL and if u wer to try and take him legally u'd do extremely badly in a case with the evidence i have. sorry mate, but ur in no place to make false facts. just be happy uv got what uv got

e.g. the sheild busters are dual but made of carbon conduction rods

and caesium hawks weapons (chain claws) are metal but are mono on each arm.

Hey Verzias! Thanks for the comments! ^^ Oh and as far a backgrounds go, all I do is start with a base color, then pick out various textures I find on google or whatever, and just mess with the tool until I come out with the desired effect. I actually used a white lotus blossom and dodged it several times until I got the lighting effect I wanted on Devi. ^^ most of the time, I just get lucky.

I generally use Paint Shop Pro, because my sister taught me how to use it properly, but I think we are going to branch off and start using Photoshop. (she's making emoticons now.) I like knowing what people look like, but I don't insist on it. I like forming my own image of them too...it's fun that way too, and it helps me get better at building characters for role plays

I talk to a lot of people that I don't know in person..it doesen't matter to me. I can tell what someone is like by the way they type, what expressions they use e.t.c, it's just like actually meeting the person.

I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil. I got good at it as I progressed. OH, I just remembered a story!!! Believe me or not but I did win $100 for my painting thingy in the 4rth grade.

I hit an all time ,low, seriously, work was just so bad...anyway, I was ready to go see a psychiatrist ( I'll explain when we chat on msn sometime ) Then I had one of my anxiety attacks >.> and after that my frinds dragged me to La Ronde ( an amusement park ) and talked me into getting a season pass, and then we spent the rest of the day on my favorite rides and now I feel better again ( though not completely because I still have a ton of work to do for school ) but yep, I'm all hyper now, and I've been on vampire ( three loops and lots of corkscrews ) so many times I can't walk straight XD

^^ tell me what you think of Imogen Heap. SNL did a digital short over the weekend that was so hilarious and they kept playing that one song of hers. So.amazingly.funny. Any-who, you have to see the movie if you get the chance, beautiful costumes and scenery. The story is a bit confusing, but isn't the chrysanthemum flower a symbol of death? If so, the story is based around that. 0.o

yeah, I wish I could say the same about High School. Urgh... just shoot me now. 0.o I shouldn't say that. There was a HUGE shoot-out at Virginia Tech College just last Monday and everyone here is acting really weird. Some of my friends had relatives that were among the diseased. The shooter killed 30 people, I think, all because his girlfriend cheated on him. The idiot. How could someone honestly do that? It doesn't make any sense. Anyways, hate to be a Debbie-downer...lately, everyone had just been eerie quiet and snappy. *shrugs* I don't like it.

I started coloring it that line art I finished a while ago (I know- I'm slow >.>) and I have no idea how I'm going to get it up here because it's too big to scan andmy camera takes really crappy pictures...but yeah, it's looking pretty good so far.

ooh, guess what, after about four hours of really really slow surfing on the net i finally managed to download poison !! weee  X3

yeah, I just came back from one of my people's houses, it took way long and a lot of food but we finally got the dance now. it's awesome, we're gonna kick theyr B-hinds X) we have all these funky moves that no one would think possible. ok, you know the drive ? or the shopping cart / it a move where you have your hands out and pretend to drive, well, tow of us do that, only we go in reverse and actually mimmick the movement too, it sounds so stupid but it looks great with the dance XD and we're having so much fun

the last days have been hell, work sucked and I got mad at this one point and slammed my hand on the counter only I sort of missed the counter...and landed on a very hot coffee burner....I can't move my right hand..it's like, burned, stinging...blistered and bleeding...and you know what ? we're a freaking coffee shop and all we have in the first aid kit are band aids >.> dam them, AND I got yelled at for slacking off because they caught me on camera doing this thing 'overly slow' to waste theyr time when in fact I could only move one hand dammit, it makes me so mad >.<

God I know what you mean! My friend and I are writting a fictional story on Shape Shifters and we're trying to design a really neat pendant that the main character wears, but we just can't settle on a design. It is very frustrating. But bottom line, I like both verzias and Hawk's steal claws, very deadly and intimidating. That's why I need a pair!

Hey verzias! Oh don't worry 'bout it. I'm even worse with replying. Hee hee. I have been exuberant lately. The weather is gorgeous, I hardly have any homework, and spring break and a birthday are all on its way! *happy sigh* Yes....course I say this and the gates of hell will probably unleash its worst for me. urgh...just my luck too. But anyways, to answer you question, all I really do is scan my crappy line art and just wing it on paint shop pro. I use multiply and the smudge tool a lot and hope it turns out ok. Lots of tweaking and manipulating really. I can never achieve your brilliant shading skills though, your amazing! so yeah... besides that, how have you been? XD

yeah that be him hanging from the branch. which explains why he appears in chapter 5. please e-mail me when you have his next actions. and don't worry about sticking to any plotlines coz i can easily mold the plot if your ideas differ to my main plan slightly. puting it simply just be the man... of shadows lol and just play out his role so i can get an idea of how to mold the plot to our advantage

We had this situation three days ago, this random drunk guy walked in and started yelling at us to get an ambulance >.> We tried to calm him down and the guy who was filling in for the manager called 911. And then for some reason the police arrived first and then the guy was pissed off at us for calling the police instead of the ambulance , which we didn't and yeah...Then we got interrogated by these police officers about the guy...it was really wierd ..

mmyep, on odd random news : I got glasses, I don't have to wear them all the time, just when I read things far away but it's still wierd lol, they look prettty tho...oh, and I have a job now ^^

talking about stupid laws, there was this woman ( who was in a high position where you get to put new laws into force ) who decided to make a law that would help reduce greenhouse gases. only she was trying to reduse CO2 of course that's a greenhouse gas, but to reduce it we'd have to stop breathing and cut down the little trees we have left, it was really stupid so bush declined. at that, the lady decided they should build cars differently, maybe that would help get rid of the CO2, her educated solution was to build nuclear powerd cars, cuz you know....those don't make greenhouse gases                    >.>

well i like to play video games...wat inspires me to draw is the fact that drawing make me happy...i used to cut myself so drawing is a way of helping me...i draw when i don't feel like writing poetry....i like to draw people from manga books i read...i like to draw my own characters...like how i feel i look..i just recently lost my qanime drawings so i have to start all over again!

Hey Verzias, how are ya? Thankyou for looking and commenting on my Light Jak pic ^_^ I'm glad you liked him!! You wanted to know how I did the glowing effect? Basically I took a large, soft airbrush with a flow of about 15 percent, and chose a very light color and colored over Light Jak. I made a layer over the original color layer though to work on....It's pretty simple coz I haven't really researched much into glowing yet. Maybe someday lol.....I hope that helps you out a little. That's good that you're feeling better too....I hate it when ya feel sick....don't feel like doing anything other than lounging around....I'll work on your request soon too. I'm finally getting a drawing tablet lol. I can't wait ^.^' So if I can master the basics of using it, I can use it to color your request. I've never used one before though, so it may take a while to get the hang of....heh.....*sweatdrop* anyhow, I hope you're doing ok!! I'll see ya later. Take care ^.O

well yah, obviously they weren't going for teaching us how to attack somebody lol, we learned some basic self defense, and then how to avoid conflicts, and all these other speech things, it was a bit boring sometimes but overall I liked it,
ours is a small private school so all the guys in our grade are cool, none are aggressive or anything *huggles friends* so it's a great environment lol, stuff like the hell banana happenes daily, ( btw, the splat is still there and because canadian winters are so cold it's frozen there and in the summer it's going to thaw out and rot and I really don't want to be there when that happenes lol )

I'm allright, school is a killer but I got over the worst of the tests so now I feel like I can breathe again. off topic but disgusting yet interesting:
today in school Pat ( a friend ) had a banana in his lunch, and he was really bored so he started poking it, and where he poked it it was becoming sort of soft and mushy, so he kept doing that and in about two hours of poking he had this black banana with this sort of mush soup inside ( the banana was still unopened ) and we kept passing it around and named it floppy, cuz it was floppy >.> then Pat wanted to take a tack and poke a hole in it but I said that would only make it squirt out yellow mush. he said that that was what he wanted and he mimicked this sort of squirt gun ( that made us all laugh our heads off, I almost swallowed my gum ) I had cinnamon gum, the strongest cinnamon thing ever because by now floppy was really stinky, we renamed floppy to the hell banana. Then Pat  ( who unfortunately had no gum xD) said the smell was too much so he opted to kill the hell banana. we all cheered and went outside ( in the ice rain ) and Pat was standing with floppy in front if the outside wall of our school and whipped it at the wall. there was this huge splat and gross little mushy yellow things started oozing off the wall. we filmed it all with becci's camera *from cheer to splat* went back inside and watched it. what we didn't notice was that out french teacher was looking at the vid over our shoulder O_O we started freaking out cuz we thought he was going to check on the splat but he didn't and so were saved xD

Hey Verzias, forgive me for my absence....my lil Border Collie has been sick over the past three days, and I didn't feel like doing anything....but he's home now. Never felt so relieved in my life lol. I checked out your new pic, and man....it's looking amazing!! You should do a few more similar to that one. It truly was fantastic work. I did recieve your last message....for some reason I must've switched off the profile comment alert thing, so now I have quite a few comments to reply too *sweatdrop* I'm such an idiot lol. school's gonna start again in 2 days :( there goes my free time... and yeah, I've had injuries, I always have injuries, I attract them remember xD
4 days ago I dropped this huge really heavy shelf on my foot >.>, couldn't walk afterwards
then the pain went away a bit ,and I could walk, but then my sister stepped on the same foot wearing this pair of heavy thick sandals >.>"
and then of course there's the daily 'trip on the stairs' bit xD

hmm, I just randomly read my last mess. and it sound a bit like I'm mad or sometinng 0.0 just ignore that , I wasn't mad , just still in shock lol , I didn't sleep that night , just stayed up watching all of that stuff because I was too freaked out to move from the couch and get the remote xD

yeah, it's bad, imagine having a nine inch pair of scissors stuck in your body, the body might isolate them but your life is still in danger, there's infections that could be fatal, and even if that doesen't happen those things are still really pointy, you could be walking on the street and then you just randomly trip and fall, those scissors move, puncture a lung or something , you start hemoraging , there's no one there to help....most likely : you die, and that's just one thing that could happen , it's really bad but most doctors that are at fault just act like it's normal...
 
doctor: huh what ? really ? I forgot a pair of scissors ? hmmm, oh well, who's up for poker ?

those shows really are not for the faint of heart xD , personally what scared me most wasn't the blood or the gore, but the fact that in the us about 2700 people are left to walk out of the hospital with some sort of abject forgotten in their body after an operation EVERY YEAR ....
that put me off hospitals for good

Man, I had the scariest halloween ever *pant pant* I watched horror and gore all night... yep... I watched documentaries about hospirtals and emergency rooms ( doesen't sound very scary...but you'll think otherwise after youve watched them).
I got a full on view of emergencies like 'guy is coughing up vast amounts of blood because he swallowed a thumbtack' or 'distracted surgeon forgot a pair of nine inch scissors in guys body during a surgery ( only discovered two years later )' and I could go on forever. If you ever want a really really scary night just watch these , it'll freak you out a lot more than any horror movie.... I'm like...still in shock...

hehe , it was awesome X) all the candy...I'm going to get a million cavities... I'm kinda too old to be trick or treating so I hitched onto some of my younger friends and pretended I was babysitting them xD, I'm sad though cuz half of my fall break is already over *sniff* it's all too fast

I finished a sketch of verzias , and i think it looks kinda cool, unfortunately it dosen't look dark and misterious it looks evil and cunning , so I have to discard that and start over , although i think I might be able to keep the pose. I can't draw hoods so the best i could do is hide his eyes behind his hair >.> anyway , I'll work on that for a bit and see what I can come up with ,
