Im just out there making us female artists look goooood!! Hehehehe!

My name true name is Laura, that's me with my little Vegeta figure in the pic! I'm from the UK and am a DBZ devotee! My passion in life is drawing. I have been drawing since the age of 5 and have never been able to stop since! The first time I watched DBZ I was 15 and at School! I loved the show so much that I have been a big fan ever since and as you can tell my fave character of them all is none other than the Prince of all Saiyan's Vegeta! He kicks @$$!!

Random things about me:
I am a friendly person and I love having a laugh with my friends. I'm a chocoholic, I love watching movies! I've never been much of a book reader (Haven't got a very long attention span for that stuff) Unless its manga hehehe! I love the winter, I have never been much of a summer person, I guess it's coz I get cranky when I'm too hot lol! I love to sit and watch the rain, it soothes me for some reason. I'm currently a student at college studying to be a hairstylist, not long left now! I 'm not a very confident person, as most people who know me will tell you, I don't know why, probabaly because I was bullied quite alot at school, especially by boys, I guess thats why I hated school! I never regret leaving that place!

My personality is very friendly person, but if you get me angry I do have a very bad temper, and I kinda loose all rashional thought and...well basically blow my top! I did actually punch a guy for picking on me. But it does take alot for me to get to that stage lol! He picked on me for 3 years solid before I lost it -_-" But he deserved it lol! I don't agree with solving violence with violence, but I do think that you should always stand up for yourself, and the things that you believe in! Otherwise....who will? Oh yeah I'm also addicted to playing The Sims2 on PC! God I love that game! If you ever met me, I'm quite a shy person at first, but then I turn into a joker, I love to make people laugh as everyone who knows me at college will tell you! One girl even said I should have my own stand up show! Hahaha, Yeah right!Anyways that's a load of random crap about me, just incase anyone is interested lol! ^_^

But please be patient as some requests can take alot of time depending on what you want, but I always try my best to get them done ASAP. Don't worry that I won't do your request If I send you a message saying I will do your request I won't let you down so just bear with me, It will be worth the wait, as I like to take my time on my drawings to get them pefect for you! But I ask one thing in return, that you give me some feedback on my art works! I must note though that I will only do drawings that are DBZ related. They must have at least one of the characters from the show on the drawing. **Things to help other artists**

Media I use: Derwent artist Pencils, (Graphic and Colouring), Black fineliner, 0.1mm and 1mm. Normal Printing paper. I usually put my paper onto the back of a pad when im sketching.

Tips: When I draw, I tend to sketch the shape of the characters body first using a series of shapes such as an oval for the head an upside down Triangle for the torso, circles for the shoulders, knee caps and hands. This just helps me to draw the angle of my character first in whatever pose I want he/she to be in.

From these shapes I begin to draw faint outline for muscles and smaller features such as eyes and fingers, (usually using a 2H pencil) keeps the lines Light so if you make a mistake it won't leave nasty black marks on your paper. Once you are happy with the final design I usually go over the drawing again just making the features stand out a little more.

Alot of people have been asking me how I colour so smoothly. I guess its because I usually colour in layers. I work on one section at a time, usually the face. I'll colour my characters face in very lightly at first, making such that the pencil is pressed down very softly and evenly. Then Ill press down a little harder and draw on where I want the shadows to be (E.g Under the eyes, or under the lip) Then I'll colour those shadows I've just drawn on pressing down quite hard, to making the colour seem alot darker to the light section you have coloured in before! I use this technique on every section of the characters body. I hope this makes sense, and I hope it has helped you guys. Just remember if you need any help what so ever You can always ask me! I know my art work isn't brilliant but I find these tips help me. ^_^
