Oh, well, for Iris, I'm just keeping it to a few simple sets. I prefer to use animals rather than plants... ...somehow, tattooing a tree seems rather... odd. ^o^;
And it'll just be a summarization of the species. Oops!
Plus, even if I DID do a goat [sorry, but there's just a connection in the english language with goats that doesn't quite fit the feeling of iris] and if I WERE to do a goat, I'd need an opposite too. And finding one for the dragon was hard enough, thank you very much. >>;

Did you notice any errors in Iris? Do you think I need to post the chappies on the thread??? O_o I have no idea, I hope my grammar is mostly eloquent and readable enough, but I honestly have no idea. XD

I'm glad you thought he should give me the flowers, your comments always say more than "awww" "or how cute" they really mean something, thanks, and green is such a sweet color, I feel blessed with my emerald eyes. my hair is more honey brown/dirty blonde, except at like the beach, my friend told me i looked like an angelm my eyes were bright and my hair he said was the most beautiful golden color he had ever seen, that made me feel great,

and i still need to get time to look at you gallery.... i've been working a lot lately and have contset entries to make, but i've made more pictures of Kurt and me that will be posted eventually. oh and some of my kingdom hearts style, I love that series!!! Well, lesse though, as I think you've jumped ahead of me a few times...
Well, I can't believe how absolutely on-the-button you were for some things: guessing what the lab-Iris-lookalike was, guessing the tattoos to come O__________O and stuff like that...
And, by the way, you're covering too many species! Slow down! I just kinda went ahead and named a helluva lot of them.
See, they will be done as tattoos as you guessed [you're way too good, seirously O_o] but I don't think it'll be easy to put in a billy goat [satyr] or however you do an elf, or whatever, so there's only a couple of species that I'll be using for Iris.
That was also my problem with the dragon: I needed to find an opposite to a dragon, but I've solved that problem now, and I hope it'll turn out okay. ^_^;
It's become quite a race, really, me trying to cram in all the tattoos I need before the plotline moves to certain points, and before the imminent end. O_O

I have to warn you, as I was never too much for a perfect-happy ending-to-stories lover, but don't worry, I've no plans to make the ending of Iris absolutely miserable. I hope you'll like the ending, actually.

Okay, okay.
Well, I'm glad you like the names I used in Iris. Valkyre's name is actually rather crappy, but I stuck to it from my initial, initial version of Iris [this is revision 3, to be honest XD] and it's still kinda cheesy [Valkyries of Norse Mythology] but I dunno, it just sounds... pretty to me. 8D Just hope it sounds male enough.

And as for Iris' name, if you didn't pick up, I originally got the idea from the song 'Iris' by GooGooDolls, and thought it would fit the boy... [the song fits VERY, VERY well O_o] and as well, DefyDeath_DefyMe, who's supported me immensely on FAC, has been a great friend of mine, and she gave herself the nickname Iris, so I dedicated this story to her on her birthday in November, which is when this all truly started for good. :)

So, there's some name explainations. I do quite a detailed search into all the names I use for my stories, though they're often not strongly linked or anything. Just names I like, always with some background to them. I hate using japanese names, as it gets a bit lame and repetitive with all the consonant-vowel-consonant-vowels that stretch on for infinity :rolls eyes: and as well, other things like celtic names [Corryn and Maeve] (Welsh, really, I think) and all are quite more lyrical to my ear/tongue. :)
Names like Asher, Camael, are all biblical, and though I'm not actually christian [:O hope I don't offend...] I do have quite the obsession with angels [duh :3] and all such things related to them, so expect a lot of angel references.

Oh, and one thing I'd like to point out...
I wouldn't exactly say that, from the beginning, Iris had the ability to 'tear Valkyre to shreds', ::sweatdrop:: as I never really thought of it the way you brought it up...
Maybe you've also figured it out by now, but Iris' demon blood simply flares up when Valkyre's angel blood meets it, so that made the demon side temporarily overpower the boy's angel blood, and thus making him act... so.
Iris is indeed strong, I believe, but I'm not sure if he'd rise up and attack very often. I suppose he could, but remember that it'll probably hurt him a great deal, and so Iris would probably be just the apathetic, passive little boy. :)

...Something along the lines of that. XD

I also don't mind the comparisons of Iris [story] to Tales, as it's all the more things I can refer to, and it makes it quite interesting. Honestly, your comments have made me look at Iris in a whole new light at times. XD

Deffy's got me TONS of artwork for Iris, [and there's quite a pretty Corryn fanpiece there too, I love Corryn myself, perhaps more than I should XD] and SenayDragon's got a LOVELY pic of Iris and another of a kinda chibi Corryn. 8D It's quite funny, really.

Well, I always just typed away on notepad, proofread it once more afterwards, then uploaded it. I think I have some fundamental spelling errors here and there, but that should be all. ^_^;

Ooh, watership down! I read that book... Helluva no, not at 9 [O.o You're awesome, btw] but... uh... however old you are in 6 or 7th grade. 8D It's a good book. Yay!

And, well, Yeah, I'm sorry about Nocte, it really is quite old and lacking in some... ...basics. Heh.
Iris is a little, too, as I started it last year, November [almost a 1-year anniversary! 8D] But I pretty much like it, for how far I've gotten on the thing and how much I still plan to keep doing. ^_~ I think it's more mature than most of my other works, and if you'll check it out, I think I shall then smother you with hearts, luv, and hot chocolate. 8D

...Then to shove you off in the direction of ALL of the lovely fanpieces DefyDeath_DefyMe and SenayDragon have drawn from Iris! :D I love the fanwork so.

Nocte really was old though, and I... kinda stopped working on it. I do want to finish the story, but things don't quite work out the right way, so it's gonna need a lot of ripping up, repairing, and completely being re-done. ^_^;
And that'll take time. I'm currently working on Iris [yay!] and TC. TC's kinda on hiatus too though, as that's being revamped as well. ^o^;

I'd love it if you read Iris though. Don't be scared by the gi-normous amount of chapters~!! XD
