I saw! I thought Christmas and Yule were basically the same thing.

Well, Yule is different. Of course Christmas is based on the Christian belief system and Modern x-mas is based on commercialism and charity. Yule is based off of celebration of bounty and the remembrance of sacrifice and provision.

Christmas was originally pagan though. It USED to be Yule. Right?

Christmas was created to cover up the Pagan's Yule. If you do historical research you will find it was Augustas Ceasar that placed Christmas on the date it is on. The Pagan holiday Yule was celebrated on the winter Solstice on the dates ranging from 22nd-25th depending on the year. Historical records would show that Christ was not born in what is the Month of December. He was born during the Roman's taxation and census season which was somewhere between august and September. The reason for placing the date where it is now was because Augustas Ceasar was attempting to gain favor with the rising Christian populace of his empire and he decided that placing the birth of Christ over a Pagan holiday would in turn smother Yule. the actual correlation of the dates are actually very irrelevant.

Oh, I don't mind. I'm very fond of yaoi. Gets me a rather frisky. Anyway, I haven't played in awhile, but it sounded like them to me. I like the dialogs. It flowed.

Taking a break from writing and math both atm. Just watched Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Love that movie. October is the one month on the year where I become obsessed with watching movies because so many of my favorites are horror movies. They only feel this good once in a while- all through October, and then on rainy summer nights.

a typical day? Well.....hmmmm. seeing as I am unemployed at the moment I sleep till i wake. Get up clean up the apartment a bit, check out my online forums, Fill out some apps, Do some work trying to get my medical license all straightened out*i have national certification, but my state certification is all screwed up* Then when my bf gets home i cater to him a bit. We usually end up doing any errands we need to. Come home and chill. I really want a job back also to go back to school.

I see. My teacher loved the rough draft for my paper that I was working on last night. I'm so happy. XD

Hey nothing to apologize for! Mine aren't anything to brag about. I wake up around 10:30, go to class at 11, then come home and sleep some more. Then when my mom gets home we watch tv while we eat dinner, and I play some video games while she watches or grades papers. Then she goes to bed and I get online and ff.net or FAC or youtube. Nothing exciting.

I have no religious bias whatsoever. I have several friends who are wiccan/ practice witchcraft, etc. I have little understanding of it, but I think it's a fascinating religion and culture.

If I may ask, what made you choose that religion to follow? And what's the difference?

I don't know enough about either to ask anything else. xD Just religion as a whole is fascinating to me, and I've been studying different religions, starting with Wicca. I haven't gotten very far, though. Schoolwork and such has taken over my life.

Also, do you know how to do MLA citation and bibliographies? Cause I'm struggling.

I had some drama, too. I got hit at work last night. Three times in the back. Little jackass was throwing punches when I wasn't looking.

Oh, I'm fine. He just showed up at my house last night, at the second inside door instead of the front door. There are two inside doors- one that's inside the garage that leads to the kitchen, and one that is past the garage inside my backyard, on the patio. He came to that one and knocked. Of course, I was in the tv room, which is the room that door looks into, and I was just in a tshirt and underwear, so I was a little rattled.

Today he came by, but after the chewing out I gave him about trespassing, he rang the doorbell at the front door. My mom gave him the run-around, and he got lost.

Oh, i highly doubt that. I have had full grown enforcers piss their pants when I appeared out of nowhere in full gear. Trust me it doesn't look like the cheapo Samhain costumes u pick up at the costume shop. This stuff the real deal. Steel Leather and full array of goodies for weapons. As well as a nice sharp Nin-tu and Katana.

It's fine. Well yesterday he wouldn't leave me alone til I told him where I lived and said I'd go on a walk with him. Then he kept putting his arm around my shoulder, or putting them around my waist, and holding my hands and stuff. Then when I told him I had to go home, I had to physically pry myself away from him, because he wouldn't let me go at first.

But today he showed up not at the front door, but the SECOND inside door (we have one to the kitchen, and another one further down on the house that leads to the bonus room), where the door window has a clear view of the tv room that i'm in with no pants on.

Just shows up uninvited, unannounced. Wants me to go eat with him and some friends. He's a nice guy, but super creepy and he scared the crap out of me.

The little bits of affection were nice. And I loved the shopping scene at the beginning.

I was trying to keep it mostly realistic. The fight scene kind of bent a few rules, but that was actually written first.

I love how Azami's totally open and relaxed with Dan about stuff. She's not quite her over-the-top Naruto self, but still 'Azami-ish', if that makes sense ^^'

Sorry I got on so late. A friend demanded that we go for a walk, and I just now was able to escape his grasp. -_-

He's a nice guy, and obviously into me, but he's a bit overbearing for me. He "casually" put his arm around me, and wouldn't stop pretending to stretch until I moved so he could, then he moved my arms so he could put his around my waist. Then he laced our fingers together, all without any prompting.

The only thing I did he could possibly have construed as "egging him on" would be that I put my legs under his- we were on a jungle gym, and he was in my way. I wanted to stretch out my legs, so I put mine under his. It all sort of went downhill from there.

And then when I was trying to go home, he wouldn't let me go. I had to pry his hands off of me so I could leave. THEN he wanted not just one, but two "goodnight" hugs. -_-

There's always the clearest course of action- kick him in the stones, then sweetly explain that he's fine, but you're not that into him...

I would have been, except he was way too forward. He's a nice guy, but I don't think he's dated much, because he obviously doesn't know proper etiquette. I know it isn't really his fault, because I did express an interest, but... I dunno. The straightforwardness of it all kind of turned me off.

Then the case becomes 'how willing are you to give him a chance', I guess. If you can tone him down, is it worth your effort is the question I'd be asking myself were I in your place, I guess.

I've got my eye on this guy at church, and I've also got a guy back in Illinois i'm into. But yeah, he's not so much on my list anymore.

Typically, I'll refer to myself as Ukitake, while my two buddies are (much to their chagrin) Kiyone and Sentaro. This is a typical conversation we had with regularity for a full year, starting about 2 years ago:

Me: "You suck, that's why. And your hair is like Kiyone's!"
Friend 1:"Aw, c'mon! At least say 'Gin' instead!"
Friend 2:"No. You're not evil, just stupid."
