a few facts about pokemon you probably didn't know-
Ash's Japanese name was the same as the creator of Pokemon(Satoshi Tajiri)
Gary's Japanese name(Shigeru) is from Shigeru Miyamoto,creator of Mario and Zelda.
Satoshi Tajiri based Pokemon on his love of collecting bugs as a kid.(when it comes to Pikachu,that's gotta be a really cute bug)

bet you didn't know at least one of those facts!!(Jesus Christ I'm gonna feel like an idiot if ya knew all that)
