bleeeh i'm sorry for not responding sooner to your comments and questions. As far as your art goes it does need work but you REALLY have alot of talent =) look up some anatomy tutorials on google or Youtube. There's one guy named Mark Crilly he's AMAZING to learn from. I think he'd be able to help with tutorials. DO NOT give up on drawing, i'd hate for you to D= you got so much talent. And you could get really good with hard work. i totaly support you in what you do!
Sketching random stuff helps to! and drawing stick ppl in different poses as well =)

Well after many long minutes of looking at pics that I so stupidly didn't comment on, I have come to the conclusion that I may have to finish the request without anymore reference to Tear. You see, I looked at all the pics of her and couldn't find one of any outfits that she was wearing, meaning I don't know what to put her in! I hear ya about school. I manage to squeeze in some time in the morning and late after homework is all done to check up on FAC and e-mail. High school certainly isn't easy. But it's so much better than the first week. God's really helped me get through ok. Now only thrity something more weeks to go! ^ ^
Since it's laber day on Mon we've got a three day weekend. Brooke's gonna be gone so I can't hang with her like I normally do. so once I get done all my homework this afternoon I'll have the whole weekend to work on stuff, including Tear/Haelo/ maybe Ben! ^ ^ I'm very excited cuz I really want to get it done for you! Plus I got other requests too and I don't want to leave everyone waiting so long. I mean, who do I think I am anyway?! ^ ^ lol

School taking over? I'm two steps ahead of you. High school is aweful and now I wish I was back in middle. At least there I knew people and could get through the hallways and wasn't so crammed with homework on the third day. But don't let me discourage you. Not all high schools are as lame as mine. I've heard a lot from girls I knew who go to other high schools that are really great. I hope things turn out better. maybe God is testing me or getting me ready for something. Yeah, I believe middle school to be a pain in the neck! it was quite frustrating and I only made one REALLY close friend. My high school is right next to where I went to elementary school, but most of the people I knew are going to another school cuz it's where they're zoned. I only know one person who's going where I am. Hopefully I'll make some new friends!!! ^ ^ Would be nice.

I'm going on a beach retreat on Sun and will probably be gone till the next Sun. No way! You do not play the piano! So do I! (just not for as long as you.) I took for about three years then quit. But I kept getting urges to play so I finally asked for a keyboard and got it last Christmas. I love it! I've already created a song for our story and it's so sad! I can't believe it was mine. Anywho, I play by ear, not by sight. I could but it'd take me a while to get used to again. By ear is just so much more interesting to me, though I can't play the real stuff anymore. But oh well.

When it comes to talking - quote - "religion", you go ahead and talk all you want. I ain't gonna take it bad. God doesn't need me to be His defense attorney. He speaks for Himself, amen? and I hope you don't mind if I say a couple things. Here's another thing about me: I don't talk very well at all face to face, but in writing, I can blow up!!! What I believe: (I really hate to put it that way - it just sounds so bashing to others, but I can't think of another way to put it!) Jesus is God, but Jesus is (or was - however you look at it) man. Jesus is God's Son. (I know, great establishment, Sarah!) But if Jesus is God and also God's Son, that would mean that God is.... uh, well I don't know what the word is, but we describe it as the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, which is whom Jesus left for us when He left earth. (note that the word "Trinity" isn't found in the Bible; it's just a word that we came up with so we wouldn't have to say Father, Son, and Spirit every time - it's a concept.) Mushrooms, there's so much I'd like so say and so much space it'd take up. I would say we could do it over e-mail but I wouldn't want anyone thing we're embarrassed to talk about it, you know? Anywho, no, I've never had a Witness come to my door, but I'm sure my parents have, and I've seen one in the downtown area around where I live. and really I think it's kool! Not everyone would do that for their beliefs.
I think I'll finish this up in another comment thing-bobber and wrap this one up with.... Oh yes about your comments on my newest work... Isamu is not a character of mine, nor from my story. it's from another friend of mine. I won't say her real name, but we call her Al.yes, Al (her idear). hey Como. I got bad news. Talked to Brooke. Got a no. She didn't come right out and say it, but I KNOW she meant it. Don't be sore at her though. She has good reasons and I should've been smart enough to know you don't post stories you've been working on for five years on a website for all to see. I think I even went to far with my description of "mystery magician", whose name I cannot reveal to you. You'll have to wait till the books come out like everyone else. I'm sorry.
But hey, don't be sad! If you really want to know how I write I can send you other stuff! Stuff that I'm not in a joint project with someone else and don't mind if other losers steal my ideas or not. It'll have to be off the top of my head, but I'll start something new for you, kk? ^ ^ Or you know what else..... I could always do fanfics off your story if you don't mind... But you'd probably like me to start my own thing first so you can see my creative side huh? ^ ^
I was going to submit another picture tonight to FAC, but there's something weird with the pics so I'll have to wait till the prob's fixed. it's a pic of Edward Elric. From Full Metal Alchemist. I don't know anything about the show, but my sis used to watch it and all I really know about him is that he's got a metal hand... O.o? I was just drawing a random person really, and I had no idea it would turn out to look somewhat like him. It's not an exact replica, but it's close enough that my sis would also think that it looked like Edward too. it's pretty good if I do say so myself! ^ ^ Not to brag or nothin'!

Ok..... The magicain? Well, the reason I thought it'd be kool if you drew one is cuz one of our (when I say our I mean Brooke and I just so you know) is a magaician. I still need the P from her so I won't let the name go, but the least I could do is tell you what he looks like. He's tall, way up in the six foot range, probably round 6'6" or something like that, and he's always got his magician suit on. It's, you know, the average black suit with the long cape, red on the underside, and his some 1000$ magaician hat (which he is incredibly proud of - paid for it with his own money). He doesn't use his wand too often, but he does have one. But his cards.... whoa! Sharp as razers. Literally. See, he's one of the evil characters, but you'd never know it from meeting the guy. He's hillarious!!! He's funnier than (you won't believe this) Ben! No joke! he's always cracking a joke! But there's one very important detail: His mask. Ever seen Tuxedo mask from Sailor Moon? Well it's like that. Simple. He ALWAYS has it on and no one knows what he looks like underneath 'cept for his family. It's a black mask. Oh yeah! His famous feature! (if you plan on adding color.) HIS HAIR! THE BEAUTIFUL BLUENESS!! It's kinda dark, but glossy. Not too dark now, but definitely not baby blue. I LOVE BLUE HAIR!!!!! BLUE AND BLACK ARE MY FAVE COLORS OF HAIR!!!! and uh.... not 100% sure about eye color, but I'd go along with blue or hazel. Don't do green. The hottest thing about our mystery man, however, is his name. Sadly I still have to get the P so I can't give it to you. (to be extra safe, I might send it to you through e-mail. Yeah, it's that kool! Too bad it was Brooke's idea! She has all the good ones!!!) Yes! i like your barriers! I agree with em!
Me is a... Uh, sort of Baptist. But then... well I go to a Community church. It's like Baptist, only more contemperary. We don't do hymns if that helps to explain. Jehovahs Witness? I've known a Jehovahs Witness before in Middle school. As I was taught (don't get mad at me) they are a seperate "religion" (I put that in quotes cuz Christianity is NOT a religion. Christianity is the ONLY way to God. A religions is a man made way to get to God, by works - things that we do - and therefore cannot be ways to God.) Anywho, I'm no expert on other denominations and I don't know the beliefs of Jehovahs Witnesses so I can't judge anyone. Besides, it's pretty much the same for any denomination: As long as you believe Christ Jesus died for you, rose again, and you've invited Him into your heart and life, what makes your Christianity any differnt than mine? Sure there are going to be things to disagree on, like Hell (I hear you don't believe in Hell) and other things, but we're human. We're bound to disagree! And if people would stop focusing on the smaller things, we might have more in common than we think! Don't get me wrong, the little stuff is important and only one idea can be correct, but that's what the Bible's for right? Course, I also heard your Bible is slightly different from mine. It's sad when even the Bible is altered to shift truth.
^ ^ I'm not a debator but I try to be ready to defend my faith. And it's not always easy. With some of the good (sometimes stupid) questions our generation comes up with. But different or not, I hope we can still be friends!

I don't mind deeply emotional songs. They just can't be about suicide or murder or rape. But I do like touching music. The weirdest thing about me....
I LOVE to cry. Love it. Don't get me wrong, I'm a happy person, not in the least depressed, but I love to cry. It's my way of getting things out. and I don't even have to have a reason for it. I just will sometimes. Even in front of people and I don't mind that so long as they don't bother me with all that, "Are you ok?" (Duh! No!) and "What's wrong?" ("No offense, but that's none of your business.") And I find it very hard to cry in dead silence. So when I'm at home alone and I need to cry, I put in my fav song. It's entitled So Blue and it's incredibly sad. it's a song about how hard life can be and how much suffering there is in the world. It makes me sob! Luckily it has a positive ending, how Christ is our only real joy. (I also get choked up during really spiritual moments. Like I've said, I break easily.)
I know how you feel about having a slow imagination sometimes. If it weren't for Brooke our story would be dead! But you've done a great job with your characters!

I'm so happy you're interseted in the story. But let me tell you it's so complicated. It has the longest plot and.... In the first... what do you call it? Well in the first nine books, which is like Part 1, (note that the nine books aren't written yet!) There are 18 main characters! And that's just the MAIN characters!!!! But I'll talk it over with Brooke (she's my co) and see what she says.
Music? Hey now, music is my life! Growing up, I wanted to be a singer, get real big and famous! (People say I have a good singing voice, but I wouldn't brag.) I listen to contemperary Christian music. It may sound blad, but you get everything from rap to country. And I listen to most all of it. My fave bands is Jars of Clay and Downhere. I know, I know, I'm crazy for not being crazy (O.o) about Green Day and 50 Cent and blah blah blah. But I don't do cussing and music that portrays negative themes. If it's positive, I don't mind it. But contemperary Christian is about all you'll find in my CD case (and the Legend of Zelda: OoT sound track!!!! ^ ^ )

About my writing..... there's quite a story to why I haven't posted anything. One: Poems are not my thing. I can't write poetry to save my life! Maybe one once in a while, but nothing worth posting! No, I write storied, whole stories, and I'm not talking a few paragraphs. I don't even know the definition of "short story" (well I do, but you get what I mean). I write loooooooooooooooooooooooong things, pages worth. In fact the first copy of the first book in the series I'm working on was 200 pages long. Handwritten. Front and back. Took a little over a school year and the good part of a summer. But I was no good at writing now and I have to rewrite it. But yeah, that's reason one I haven't posted anything.
Two: I kinda just got started on FAC and I'm trying to work on getting organized and getting mroe pics out so maybe more people will notice me. Hadn't thought much about posting written stuff. Not right now anyway.
Three: I need permission. See I don't work alone. I could on other stuff, but the main story I'm working on, I'm working on it with another person. I'm a co-author. I have a partner. She's the better part of the imagaination in our story, and I'm just the brains. Sometimes not even that. But she's very, very protective of our story. She doesn't want anyone stealing anything cuz we've been working on it for so long ('bout five years) and it's really important. I don't half blame her for wanting to keep it quiet till it's printed. We're hoping it'll get so big that the stories'll be made into movies! Lord willing.
So that's why I haven't posted anything written. Maybe in a little while if I get her permission. Until then, I'll have to do without. But if you have any specific likes.... romance, comedy, action.... if I get permission, I could write a scene for you to give you a taste of what our story is like. ok?

From what I see you have some very cute drawings going. Many of them are truly adorable, but you should try to draw a complete character more often. The entire body and such. It is all very cute though and I absolrutely adore the colors! :)

In real life he is gently pulling her in to kiss her. Tear has been abused so much that she only relates what he is doing to somthing violent. This is her imagination. So yes he is pulling her in for a kiss but she relates it to being grabbed and yelled at. thnx for asksing.

Hmm... I quite like the CG backgrounds, because you choose ones that are appropriate to the picture. You've got good taste in backgrounds. ^^ But maybe EndlessAsgard is right, and you should work on developing your own backgrounds that fit the style of your pictures. It doesn't matter to me, because so far you've chosen funky ones that match the colour scheme nicely.
About your style, I like the manga style myself, and don't think that you should give it up. The big eyes and the funny colouration provide endless opportunity for experimentation. But if you want to try for a more realistic or alternative style, that's fine too - I bet you'd be really good at it.
And you're so much better at computer colouring shading than I was at twelve that it just isn't funny.

Hey como, EA here, not bad stuff, not for your age at least. You've got a pretty good grasp of human proportion, better than i think i did at 12, but if you want brutal honesty, i'd say lose the cgi backgrounds, not that they don't serve they're purpose but they're a little much and i've always believed in only promoting my own work, i think there's one cgi background on my stuff, one of my KH drawings so i won't tell you not to, just that it feels good to be able to completely own you work if you know what i mean.
Just one last thing, i know its a big influence on young drawers now days, but try to ditch the blatantly anime style, yes, it's fun but you'll never become a better artist drawing people with purple hair, no nose, and eyes half the size of their head. Sorry if i've been a jerk but you asked my opinion and i don't sugar cote things.
All things considered though, i'd say you're a good artist with a lot of potential, and besides, your drawings are cute as hell for what they are.
Keep it up, i'll throw reviews your way if you do the same.
