It does make her unique, and definetly charming. I always liked that 'who cares what anyone thinks?' attitude in anime girls, for some reason.Check this out! (Sorry if I linked it to you already) It's a great anime opening for one of my fave's.
It's the other way around for me. I've got an RQ to draw, and I just can't get it right! I feel bad for making the recipient wait so long, but I don't want to turn in some stupid looking thing either.
