"I know it's hard, know its hard,
to remember sometimes,
But you gotta keep your head up, oh oh!
And you can let your hair down, eh!"

Been trying to sing this for almost a whole decade. Still can't. FAIL. Doesn't change the fact that I love this song.

Well, it's a good, mature decision to do that. I've heard that it's every parents dream to see their children prosper and eventually surpass them. It's not always true, but I would imagine for most it is. Who wouldn't want to see their kids do well, right?
I'm not even sure of the definition of care-free fun. I guess something not work or study related.
It is. I'm thankful for her in a big way, irritating quirks aside :)
That's great! Congrats! Hands are really hard for me, too. That and eyes, plus general body shape. Hopefully I'll get to see some of your artwork showcasing this new drawing prowess of yours soon :)
Chobits is such a good series, too. I think you're mature enough to handle it. I'd imagine the anime is more tame.
Well, I've got to get going for now. Maybe I'll catch you later?

I can't say I qualify as an adult, but others my age tend to think that way and act older. Me, I'd be happy with some care-free fun.
I love my Grandma to bits, but bless her she's hard sometimes. But she goes out more than I do!
You're right. Skin shading is the worst. Beyond finding a good color and technique, there's placing the shadows correctly. Yuck.
Either one is good, although Chobits has some decidely 'mature' themes to it.

I could have sued them, but my anxiety was at it's worst, and I just didn't have the energy to really pursue that option.
I was the same way with friends. But I do regret it now. getting hurt is part of the game, of course, but because I never bothered to make friends, things get lonely. I'm an only child, so I can't go talk to siblings or anything. And some things you just can't talk to your parents about. So I have to rationalize things by myself, and that gets really difficult. All in all, I wish I had made friends.
I hope so. But there are some things I can't do. Now that I'm an adult, there probably won't be any innocent relationships. You know, non work related playing and whatnot. No carefree fun.
It is. Grandma can be irritating, truth be told. So this keeps her busy, and keeps me amused^^
I've found that the best way to soften skin is actually in the shading. The more intricate the shading, the more depth the skin gets. Especially because there isn't a really good color for skin, aside from peach.
It is! Because of this AMV, I got into reading Angelic Layer and Chobits^^
