Hectic, but usually in a bad way. I had to take it easy for the next semester, because I had gotten myself sick, to the point where I looked and sounded like Hayate Gekko. Martial arts has really come front and center. I just got promoted, so I'm thrilled. Er, I mean...Lee: I am thrilled! Guy-sensei! I have done it!
Oh boy, I've been down that road too! I actually wrote a fic that killed Ekyt off, because I was depressed about people not reading my fics, and I was just feeling like crap in real life, and I was tired of nothing I was writing working.
Have you tried listening to music while writing? I mean, when I wrote the battle between Ekyt and Sasuke, I was listening (and occasionally watching) the "Distance" Shippuuden opening. Or, if it was one of those "feel good" EkytXSakura moments, chances are it stemmed from "Dreams Come True" or "Remember" by Flow. And nothing beats "Go" or "Breaking the Habit" for fighting scenes!
But, anyway, I bet you can write. Don't compare yourself to others right away, give yourself time to find your own writing style.
lol, yeah, Ekyt is kind of like me. I'm not pervy like that, lol, although, I've never experienced the Sexy Jutsu. lol, I guess everyone who does is instantly a perv! But, honestly, it's easy for me to be Ekyt. He thinks a lot like I do, and has the same mannerisms. But he's waayyyy cooler than me!
