Well, I was thinking of having retooling Yuji's entire story. Before I get into that, are you familiar with Resident Evil at all? (the game series)

Yay! And I'm sorry to report that the only thing I know about the games is that it involves zombies. It's not really up my alley... just watching my cousin play for twenty minutes gave me nightmares.

That's okay. There's a girl there that is very reminiscent of Azami. A bounty hunter named 'Ada'. I was going to basically have Yuji play a 'loyal soldier' role, and have him actually involved in an honest to goodness shinobi war. He'd be out on the front lines, miserable because he has to kill people all the time, and lonely as hell. He fights with a rival shinobi, initially wearing a mask. He cuts the mask off, sees Azami's face, and basically falls in love. She captures him, and interrogates him. And...there we are!

That sounds like an interesting story! I'd look forward to reading that. i'm actually feeling a little inspired to draw tonight... I promised andr28a that I'd do a drawing of Ryofu, and I never got around to it. I'm thinking I may toy with it tonight. Although, Ryofu has such interesting features (involving colour) I'm thinking of trying my hand at coloring on the computer as well as doing my usual shading bit.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think I was too tame with the yuri in retrospect, but I liked the story. Some part of me wanted them to declare themselves bisexual and have both of them own Yuji, but that's so far away from my style I couldn't do it. Not well, anyway. lol.

His character is fun to write about, too. Definitely an intresting character development. The original Ryofu was close to a psycopath if memory serves, with god-like abilities. I like this version much better. There's a good story behind him.

Oh, yes. The current Ryofu is very different from his first form. That's my opinion, but I think Andr28a would agree with me. The first Ryofu had the same appearance, but was a lot more murderous.

Hmm... I'll have to take a closer look at some of his earlier work. I'm really not sure what to do with my story from here....

He deleted all his original stuff, I think. Which is something I should do.

I have that problem, too. Of course, I can't draw girls- that just stands to reason. Usually the eyes are what messes me up.

I'll email you the sketch I have... I've kind of made him more masculine by defining his neck and broadening his shoulders. I tried to square his jawline a little more than I usually do.

It is, in a way. She's very active and curious. I named her 'Hayate', after Lt. Hawkeye's dog in FMA because they look alike (actually, that's what made me choose her in the first place).

If I'm considering writing a HisaKonan fic, I don't think yuri offends me. ;) Nah, it doesn't offend me. I love yaoi/yuri simply because it's so different. The same way guys think it's hot when two girls make out, I think it's hot when two guys make out. xD

Hmm... Honestly, I don't think Sakura would allow it. Not only is it harmful, it serves no purpose other than being humiliating. You could give it a shot, but it's personally not my thing.

Not true; you cared enough to help. I've known people in similar positions who actively choose not to do anything. Our instinctual reactions in that kind of situation show us what kind of person we are.

It couldn't hurt. Just remember that not all tribes follow that custom. I'm not Native American personally, but a relative of mine married into a tribe and got really into the culture.

Hmm... Well, one way is like, they both do their reports for Tsunade at the same teahouse or coffeeshop or whatever, and they eventually start sitting together. Once, Yuji or Sakura will ask the other if they want to go there without reports in the way. Make it a weekly/monthly thing until voila, someone pops the "let's just make it official" statement question.
