Um, Asuna's expression was the hardest, I think. I messed up Hisako's hair, and don't even get me started on Hinata. I think Azami turned out really, really well, better than I expected. Sakura was just all-around easy, I guess. Can't wait to color it, now!

lol, I loved the little exhale cloud you gave Hisako. the =3 thing was a nice touch^^ I like how Hinata was clutching the box. Sakura was dead-on. I loved Azami's eyes (first thing I looked at, lol, after you mentioned it) and Asuna's hair. Well, to be accurate, I loved the whole thing, but I wanted to be specific^^

Hisako's exhale cloud was communicating, "how did I get roped into this?" I'm glad you picked up on that. She hopes her poor Tenzo (or her poor Naruto, depending on which story ;3 ) doesn't get too jealous! Or Yuji'll have to watch out. I'm not sure which is worse, an irate Wood-style user, or an irate Jinchuriki...

Hmm...I would say that Yuji would probably fight Yamato instead. Mostly because he's never had a serious fight with him. lol.
I liked the package Asuna was carrying. It suited her face, for some reason. And for some other reason, I thought 'huh. Lucky Star?'. I have no idea why I thought that, lol. It was so random.

Really? Because the only thing I can see that you could possibly not like about her face is that she isn't blushing. Everything looks spot-on to me.

I'm trying a different approach than usual, since it's for a special occasion. Instead of using plain ol' pencil, I'm using a fine-point pen and colored pencils! So your present will be in color! :D

I don't know that I've ever done a chapter with her complete physical description. She has chestnut colored hair, in a ponytail, with eyes that are just a shade darker than her hair. Alternatively, she lets her hair down once in a while, and her hair is maybe mid-back length, with bangs over one eye. The rest of her build is average anime female.

Azami...let's see. She's got long black hair, very dark blue eyes (so dark they're almost black. Or you can make them black; whatever is easier for you), on the tan side. Sort of like this for build and skin color:

Aw, thank you! I just doodled constantly as a kid. A lot. I had a really good anime artist as a friend, and it pushed me to want to be as good as her. Now, I think I am, if I do say so myself.

The Japanese letters read "Naruto and Sakura's Servant". I also used Kanji for Yuji's title, 'Ten no Kishootsu' (Heaven's Temper), as well as Sakura's last name.

I really like the way you did Naruto. His hair looks really cool. I'd say you should work on Sakura's hair a little, something about it looks a bit off.

For Yuji, I'd look at the proportions a bit. The one knee is a little too far out, I think. I found a couple pics that might be able to help you out, although they weren't ideal.

Thank you^^ Sakura wound up being a goth egyptian, and Yuji was a midget, but Naruto came out okay. I liked how Sakura's proportions came out (not meant to sound perverted; I just really suck at those and to get close is a big deal for me ^^).

Well, it's kinda depressing until the very end... It takes place during the episode, as one of the "deleted scenes," so it's kind of... Gloomy. I tried to portray the overwhelming grief that Naruto had to be feeling, and Hisako's desire to stop his pain. I hope you like it. It'll be done in like, 15 minutes. ^^

What did you think of Hisako's memory of her and Naruto's first meeting (with Sakura thrown in the mix)? Do you think it suited the three of them?

Do you think any of it was overdone? When Hisako was telling Naruto that she just wanted to make his pain go away, "even if it's just for a little while," I couldn't quite get the words to come out right.

I like how you did the story without really messing with the canon storyline. An untold side of Naruto was the perfect route to go.

I loved Hisako's line. She sounded a like friend who really would do anything,and that presented her with the opportunity to really connect with Naruto. I think it was pretty classy at the end, too. The sex fit into the story well. It didn't seem forced or as a result of hormones. It was like...protective sex, I guess? Genuine, too.

I had actually never imagined writing a story like this for Naruto. In my main fic, Hisako actually finds him kind of annoying. But this was... i wouldn't say 'fun,' but it was rather satisfying to write. I feel like I helped Naruto out of his slump. xD

That's the kind of friend Hisako is. She's loyal to the very last. And it doesn't hurt that she's in love with her best friend. Imagining it in my head, their 'sex' didn't feel forced or angsty or driven by desire. Well, maybe a little angsty, because she's trying to help him forget his loss. But I really enjoyed writing this, and I'm actually considering more like this in the future. xDD

I found that whole scenario to be innately (sp) sweet somehow. I'm a hopeless romantic, so that's probably why. Maybe a little angsty, but Hisako didn't come off like she was using the situation as an excuse to get with Naruto, or conversely that Naruto was using Hisako. It was like this serendipitious (is that even a word?) joining of the heart and body.

No, not at all! That's really not that uncommon. Like the double date with Hisako/Tenzo and Kakashi/Sakura. It would be less stressful, in many ways. Neither of you would be freaking out as much about "Oh, god, what do I do?" because you're more focused on having fun with your friends and getting to know each other better.

Well, I appreciate that. I've got no reason to keep it secret, really. A couple of the players in the game I officiated last night (I referee ice hockey) threatened to catch up with me outside the rink and beat the crap out of me (in much less nice terms). They were dead serious, and I heard one of them hanging around afterward. It shook me up quite a bit.

Oh, my gosh! I'm glad you're all right. That would definitely be a scary situation. Also, I love it that you referee ice hockey. Lol

The problem is, these guys frequent the rink I work at for this particular league. So the threat isn't gone yet -_-' I'd like to think they wouldn't be stupid enough to attack me over a game, but they go out there drunk and act like idiots, so I'm not terribly reassured.

XD It's a good job most of the time. I always feel weird saying 'ice hockey', but if I don't specify, people usually ask if I referee ice or roller hockey, since we have both around here.

No, don't feel weird- I immediately knew why you specified. I went ice skating once. I wasn't very good at it. I didn't lace my boots up tight enough, and they kept wobbling around so I couldn't move very well. lol

I hope they don't try anything... Can you report them?

Skating is hard. My parents stuck me in skates since I was two, so I just kind of got used to it.

I reported them to the rink staff, who is going to suspend them from playing. But they can still show up. If they approach me again, it's a matter for the police.

No problem. It was really a nice 'sketch', though it was as good as a finished product imho. It still amazed me about the shading. The harder I try, the worse I mess it up, lol.

It was a good touch with Kakashi and Sakura. As usual, you kept him in character while giving us a glimpse at his feeligs and how he acts on them.
Very good reaction by Hiskao. I could believe it was genuine, so I'm inclied to believe you did it right :) I can't wait to see how she reacts to this further, despite the fact it's a lousy situation for her.

The first two paragraphs after Tenzo finds out her name are my favorites. The description is really great. I like how you pointed out different things (the smell, the brick, etc) and related them to what Hisako's feeling.

I had a little bit of fun writing that part with Tenzo and Neji, but part of the time I was afraid that I was getting Tenzo out of character. But really, he's such a malleable character that I can have him say pretty much anything and it would still work. D'you think I stayed in character for Neji? I think some of my subconscious dislike for him showed through in this chapter. xD
