Oh, yeah, before I forget- I really liked how Hisako had control of the situation in the fic, sort of teasing Tenzo. I got a kick out of that.

If you have a second, what do you think about this concept? It was written outside of my usual style. The basic theme is forbidden love between a shinobi and a swordsman.

It's a nice give and take dynamic. The problem I normally have with romance fics is that I usually feel like the guy is taking advantage of the girl somehow. I didn't get that vibe with this one. It seemed to be an even relationship.

lol, well, I suppose he is. I wanted to play up Sakura's kunoichi side a bit, too. But he's so submissive anyway, it seemed to fit somehow ^^'

Azami is a lot of fun to write about. She's so relaxed about gender differences and all that. She's liberating to write about, compared to uptight little Yu-chan.

That usually cures me of writer's block. Doing two long fics like I'm doing now is a hazard. I was writing new stuff, and literally smacked myself in the forehead- I had completely forgotten about Shoki in 'Serving', and was making Yuji insane in 'Serving', too. I was like "...wait. Oh, crap! That would be a huge spoiler if I posted that!'

Totally hot. How Tenzo's eyes are on the road at all is beyond me. It's well written. It doesn't seem forced at all, and the 1st person adds to it rather than detracts from it.

Couldn't you totally see that happening, though? xD

I mean, Hisako's not exactly the shy type, and Tenzo could talk anybody out of their pants any day of the week.

I could picture it. Those two are so hot for each other anyway, plus their personalities. Yeah, it all makes sense from where I sit ^^

I'm trying to add more sexual tension in my actual story between them without them actually getting down and dirty. xD Or without distracting from the sweeter side of the romance.

It's a hard balance to keep. I find that I have a hard time writing about existing relationships. It seems like I can't keep it interesting after the confession, which is totally backwards, lol.

Hmm. I could help you with that. I'm fascinated by relationships, and their progression. Like, the initial stage after the confession, you're both getting used to being able to touch each other, and being wanted by the other person. On the other hand, the stage of your relationship where you're comfortable with each other is also interesting, because you both just kind of flow, if that makes sense. You're more like one person than two.

Well, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious about where this one goes. XD

It's odd. Somehow, the fic is more interesting because you're writing it. Because you happen to female, I tend to think that Hisako's reactions will be more genuine. If I tried to do the same sort of fic with Azami, it wouldn't work. If it was Yuji instead, maybe, although I'd have to change the mechanics quite a bit. But that's all theory. lol.

I haven't heard of them, but I'm a semi-fan of the genre.

No, if your work is good, you've got nothing to be embarassed about. My attempts are bad. Although one scenario where Ino blindsides Sakura with her Jutsu, stopping her from countering it, and makes her do 'stuff' to Yuji while threatening to make her do worse things if he doesn't do what she asks. It's a hot concept that I just haven't finished yet.

Naruto was deflowering Hisako, and it did not seem to be going well for her.

Tenzo knew he held a soft spot for the unique kunoichi, but he never really knew if it resided in his heart or in his pants. All he knew right now, watching this fumbling adolescent display, was that if it had been him down there between the feisty brunette’s legs, he would have had her orgasmic by now.

Honestly, had having the infamous (pervert) Copy Ninja as an instructor teach this boy nothing? And don’t even bother asking about Jiraiya! During all that time, he didn’t learn a thing about how to please a woman?

Tenzo sighed in mild disgust. The kid was doing it all wrong.

I was just reading some of my old work. Originally, Yuji came to the Leaf with two others. One student of his, who went bad, and another, the master of his former school who got it by political movements. When they get to the Leaf, he has confessed his love to her and has lost an eye defending her from Gaara. I can't remember why, but she decides that she likes him so much she hates him, and sets out to sabotage him at every turn. Yet, when his life is threatened, she defends him to the death. I wonder why I stopped using her. She was fun.

Well, personally, I prefer boxers. But it really all comes down to the girl. I honestly don't know what most women prefer, and I belong to that population! xD
