Haha, it's the opposite with me. I love drawing hair. I used to doodle hair for hours on end. The headband's actually kind of tricky for me. I'm really loving my pic!

Well, not everyone goes for the supermodel types. Some people prefer the average guys. Honestly, I have low self esteem, so I'm intimidated by -really- goodlooking guys. Besides, guys with average looks are often overlooked, so they welcome attention!

I'm the same way with girls. Although the supermodel thing a turnoff for me sometimes. I'd prefer someone I can relate to.

Actually, I haven't started the next chapter yet. I've been so busy this weekend, I haven't really had time. When I have, I've experienced writer's block. I'm not sure what to do next. xD

Hmm...my advice there is to do a one-shot fic that is completely unrelated to your story. It breaks the monotony of doing one fic, and gets your creative juices flowing. It really does work ^^

I watch Shippuden on Hulu, where it's uncut and in japanese with subtitles. I've picked up on bits and pieces of japanese that way.

I try. The only problem for me is that the female characters tend to stick out more, and my Japanese teachers are always female. So I tend to have a female inflection when I speak Japanese. lol, it was quite amusing the first time I realized it. I sounded darn cute, though! XD

A cd I've been dying to have came in the mail today. I was sooooo excited.

Cool! I have the opposite problem. I've got a couple things ordered (including two books I've been dying to read), and they're late. Gah! It drives me nuts when I can't read something I want to read!

I know right? On the upside I've been getting my daily dose of kakashi and yamato! I love shippuden.

I definitely prefer Shippuden to 'early' Naruto. Sakura us much less annoying, and Sai cracks me up.

Sai is epic. But I'm loving where I'm at because I get yama and kaka in one sitting!

lol, must be similar to how I loved the rare episodes that had Sakura and Tenten in them.

I'm curious: Which filler arc did you hate the most?

I didn't really "hate" any of them. I did skip about 20 episodes near the end of part 1 though. I was just like "damn it I want story progression!!!"

ah, I see. For me, I really, really didnt' like the Hidden Star Village thing. It just seemed out of place for Naruto.

I will admit to lmaoing during the one episode where Ino takes the place of that princess meeting her husband to be for the first time. It was so stupid, but I was cracking up.

And I didn't really feel for the whole star village thing one way or the other tbh. It dragged on though which was annoying. XD

It really did. I liked the 'Curry of Life' though. Anytime Lee uses the Drunken Fist is good. Plus, it was a rare time where Tenten didn't look weak!

I have to admit, he's the reason I got addicted to naruto. First ep I ever saw was his story during the chunin exams. I bawled my eyes out.

I dismissed Naruto as a fantasy fighting series until I saw Lee fight in the Forest of Death. Then I was thinking "Whoa! Some of that stuff even I could do!"
And I was hooked.

It's easy to forget that Naruto's life has sucked, too. But I really liked the concept of yuji having to watch another guy live his dream.

Yes! That was my favorite show when I was a kid. Btw not sure if I told you but I've added 2 chapters to my fic.

No, not yet. At least ten-twelve more chapters to it, at a guess. But I'm already working on the one that will follow it. That's the one that Hisako will be in. The two fics are unrelated, and they're going to overlap. They're polar opposites. The new fic will be less dark and mature than 'Serving'.

I'm still really impressed with 'Serving.' I'll probably go back and reread it when you're finished, and once I've caught up on Shippuden and your co-op fic.

I'm glad you like it! It's so totally different from the original concept I had in mind! But it's more fun if I'm surprised, even as I write it ^^

Oh, I don't think you're wrong. I just read into her actions differently than you did. She's kind of motherly toward her whole team, including Guy, whose emotional maturity may be lower than Naruto's. Pre-shippuden, of course.

Actually, I'm unfamiliar with it. The only thing I know of that relates to "Higurashi" is that it's Kagome's last name from Inuyasha.

Anko...? Hmm. I dunno. If I wanted a little bit of weirdness, I'd say AnkoXKabuto. But I don't know. Maybe Genma? They seem to have similar personalities.

I never really mention Hisako's age, but she's 19. I'll put a little more about her experience with the chuunin exams in one of the next chapters, but my main thing is that she backed out during the first part of the test because she didn't want to leave Sakura behind as a gennin and move on to be a chuunin.

I thought about Genma, too. Or maybe Raido. I was always pro HayateXYuugao, but I know he got paired with Anko alot.

Hayate died too soon. I keep toying with the idea of pairing Yuugao with Yuji seriously, since he was partially based off Hayate.

I keep changing Yuji's age. I like to have him be a year or so older than the main group, making him in Neji's graduating class at the academy. But after Shippuden, I prefer him to be in his twenties, so he has like one and a half birthdays a year to make it fit, lol. Now I just stop mentioning age altogether and say that he's older.

I like the 'older' thing. ^^ But actually, I never really noticed that! :P

lol, the yogurt thing, though! That did me in. Very vivid imagery there. I can just picture Kakashi losing it. For some reason, it made me think of his sink leaking, and a drop being a constant sound in the background. If it were an anime, I could just picture the camera going to Sakura's mouth, then to Kakashi, and each time it went back to Kakashi it would get closer to his eye.

Lol yeah. Dead silence except for the annoying tap of the leaky faucet. It was pretty fun to write, tbh.

It was cool that you mentioned 'kunoichi grace'. It kind of denotes that there is a different skill set for females vs males, which usually goes unnoticed.

Well, women in general are more flexible and graceful than men, so to me it only made sense that a kunoichi would have those traits amplified. You know?

I had an idea that I might use in the future, but you're welcome to use now, if you're ever pressed for ideas. It's basically special kunoichi training with a male guniea pig. The kunoichi need to extract information from the male subject using any means at their disposal, be it weapons or their own body.

Yeah, I think you used that in one of your YuSaku one-shots. Also, that was kind of the beginning of the loooong KakaSaku fic I linked you. Oh, btw, how far did you get on it?
