Everyone, it is my turn to take leave of Fanart Central.
College has become too hectic now that I am entering my senior year. I am also in the premedical track, so the tasks will only build up! Do you know how long I have been on FAC? 6 years. That makes me all the more reluctant to go, but I must go. I am not cutting ties; I am letting them fall, and if any of you guys find me again someway somehow, I will surely pick them up again. However, for now, let me get adjusted to simply concentrating on my own life as a regular artist and student.
It was fantastic getting to know all of you. I faved, commented, complimented, critiqued, argued, and laughed with too many of you to count. I started as a total noob and finished as a site helper. I did what I could in my time here - it was tedious, but I was proud of it. Do not ever ever stop drawing, guys! You know what you guys have, every single one of you, is special. Never let it go.

I appear to yet again have the uploading problem, I don't know what fixed it last time, but it simply happened after telling them, that it wasn't my connection that was a problem, which they tried to put on me.I just don't know what does it.

When you say "them," I assume you mean the administrators? If it is the same problem as before, we are going to attempt some new methods here if we indefinably rule out connection (how do you know it was not connection though?)
Give me a brief description of the size, MB size, picture type, and internet browser. I can assume you usually submit in png. Experiment for me: convert your picture to jpeg, size it down to 800 pixels, and use Google Chrome (it is really quick to download). I know that is a big stretch, but I am interested in troubleshooting your problem my way just in case it pops up again.

If it usually works as I usually upload PNG around the size of 1,5MB and use Firefox, I won't just change browser to make it work, because it works and sometimes it doesn't. Also the also the last time I had this problem I tried converting to smaller sizes and other picture files, but it doesn't work, it's simply the Fanart-Central server or what so ever, that is not responding at all.luckylace222 on July 5, 2012, 3:38:17 PM

Do not worry; I already put into account the strangeness that although you have been submitting with the same file type and file size for a long time, it is all of a sudden not working. That is why I feel attempting other variation (like other file types like jpeg that can be a different/maybe even easier file to work with on the server) would not hurt. If it is the server, I am not sure how much I can attack the problem since Denis/Stratadrake are the ones that mainly help structure the website (you could always shoot them another PM and give evidence that it is certainly not your computer this time).

JPEG doesn't work, nothing works, it's simply just waiting for the site to reply. This is the only page that was problems, never have problems with connection with anything else, nothing has changed by my connection, and if it had problems uploading, that would be a problem with all pages, but it isn't. I don't know what kind of evidence that they want to see, to make them understand that it is not my connection, because showing them my settings or what so ever, will look the same, working or not.luckylace222 on July 6, 2012, 3:53:17 AM
