Everyone, it is my turn to take leave of Fanart Central.
College has become too hectic now that I am entering my senior year. I am also in the premedical track, so the tasks will only build up! Do you know how long I have been on FAC? 6 years. That makes me all the more reluctant to go, but I must go. I am not cutting ties; I am letting them fall, and if any of you guys find me again someway somehow, I will surely pick them up again. However, for now, let me get adjusted to simply concentrating on my own life as a regular artist and student.
It was fantastic getting to know all of you. I faved, commented, complimented, critiqued, argued, and laughed with too many of you to count. I started as a total noob and finished as a site helper. I did what I could in my time here - it was tedious, but I was proud of it. Do not ever ever stop drawing, guys! You know what you guys have, every single one of you, is special. Never let it go.

[size=142]I do not have direct access to the programming of the website, but whatever the programming problem is, I can ASSUME that the webmasters were tweaking with new website interfaces and it caused some weird things here and there.
Denis/Strata/Battou will probably be able to fix it after today.

UPDATE: Stratadrake: This would be a config error; a resource named $read_only_database wasn't initialized properly. In the case of profile pages this means the gallery snapshot and faved pics are broken; in the case of gallery pages as a whole, it's the entire page.[/b](They are working on it)

Why ish this problem after 2 days still not fixed? O.o I haven't been able to get to my own art in 2 days and I need it for an off site contest TT^TT they won't accept can't get to it cuz the site is down and fanart-central.net has the only copy of the art for the contest that I still own X_xNever ever let your mom clean your house T^T She threw out all my shoot including the artwork in question for this contest thing TTOTT

I do not know the true reason it is taking so long because I do not directly program the website (Denis and Stratadrake would be the ones you would speak to). I am attempting to get information and an update from here. You can post your specific questions and concerns on this forum post:

Here is a work-around for your problem. For the "featured" picture on your profile, choose to feature the name of the picture you want for the off-site contest. When that new picture is featured on your profile, you can click on it and save it onto your desktop.
