I believe that all people are the same, so should be treated as equals; women should have the same rights as men, African-Americans should not be discriminated just because of their color, etc. The Mattel company is not making female Avatar the Last Airbender characters because they "will not sell." To me, that is not kind, because Katara and Toph are just as important as the male characters. Katara got Aang out of the iceberg, and Toph taught Aang earth bending.
