Don't you mean TRIassic? I've never heard of THErassic before! Lol. Anyway... there were three Periods of time in which the dinosaurs dominated. The Triassic is the first and lasted between 250-203 million years ago (mya). The first dinosaurs evolved during the Late Triassic, somewhat 230 mya. The Jurassic is the second Period in which dinosaurs reached enormous sizes. It lasted between 203-144 mya. The final time Period is the Cretaceous, where the Tyrannosaurus ruled. It lasted between 144-65 mya and no dinosaur fossils have ever been found any later than this Period.
