Not too bad. Headache is gone. Had a major anxiety attack last night, but that actually helped because now I know where I'm going with the Amy/Julian fic. In her own way, Amy helped with my anxiety attack. Sweet girl...'till you meet her XD

Worse yet, I'm taking this stupid thing online. So there are prerequisetes set up for each part of the course. Meaning if I screw up once and score less than a 90 on a homework or less than a 75 on a quiz, I'm completely screwed for that entire section. --' As if the stupid course wasn't hard enough, they throw this crap in now! Why didn't you take it as a real class? You should always take 'real' classes for the subjects you're worst at, so the teacher's always there to help.

I've tried. The professors aren't real understanding when it comes to my anxiety. They usually force me to withdraw from the class due to an attendance policy issue. See, the way my anxiety works, if I have an anxiety attack, I need to leave. Quickly. And I may not be able to come back. Or I may need to be late for one class or another. This falls under the Office for Students with Disabilities jurisdiction, and the office is a joke. They can't make exceptions unless I have a glaring, obvious physical disability. We've sparred over this several times, just shy of me brining in a lawyer.

Anyway, long story short, 'real' college doesn't suit me well --' Which sucks, because it means no parties and getting laid. Oh, and there's situation like this, too, I guess! XD

You should definitely file a lawsuit. You can't help your anxiety attacks, and how you have to deal with them is how you have to deal with them. They shouldn't be able to deny you coverage through Disabilities. That's stupid.

You would think. I keep hearing lines about 'well, we've got a committee meeting on it'. I finally called them on it and said 'Hey, how about letting me speak at one of these things? What better than a walking, talking, real person who deals with this'. Kind of like 'Oh...we'll get back to you'.

I'm just debating whether or not the lawyer's fee would be worth it or not at this point. I'm tempted, though, believe me.

Well it's definitely worth it if it can improve your college experience. You can always try to get a pro bono lawyer.

Let's see...it all looks good. Maybe for II B you could mention something about how downloading illegally interferes with an artist's right to a living. It takes legitimately earnable money out of the pocket of the rightful receiver.
If you need a specific incident that is similar in nature, you can point to Sega's last game console (the Dreamcast). In a nutshell, there are more pirated copies of Dreamcast games than legitimate ones, and that caused a company under financial stress to lose a lot more money, which directly affects the video game market, and to a lesser extent, the economy.

And, morally speaking, put yourself in the artist in question's shoes. Losing money that you earned legally? Since ancient times, one of the sure ways to piss off your fellow man is to impede his right and ability to make a living.

It's basically a high-level management thing. I went the extra step and was actively involved in designing levels, but my job was chiefly to recruit people, assign teams, set deadlines, make sure those deadlines were met, etc. I was also doing advertising, and occasionaly heading up the design or art departments. I hope that's a helfpul description.

Was her reliving the rape too much for FAC, do you think? I don't go into detail, but at the same time it's a little off-putting. Although I do think that having Yuji more conscious than she knew was a nice touch. There are few things that set Yuji off like that. Raping his new girlfriend in front of him...yeah, kinda sheds more light on what made him drug up and kill those fools!
