Just a wild thought :)

Working on some DS9 tonight. I'm sort of stalled on everything else. I've got ideas; just need to piece them together into a working story.

Awesome! I'm trying to think of a pilot for my doctor who fic while I'm brainstorming, but my thoughts are too scattered to focus on anything with more than 4 chapters. xD

That happpens. That's what one-shots are for, after all ^^ Yuji wouldn't get laid if not for that XD

Lol that's true enough. Help me out- how would you see their first time going down? Like what happened beforehand, and how would Yuji react to it?

Nothing too specific, just general stuff to help me flesh it out a bit.

Let's see...I would picture Yuji just started to get up a bit of courage when it came to Sakura. The stuff normal couples probably get to on the second date. The flirting, the (playful) teasing, and even a bit of 2nd base plus touching at Sakura's suggestion.

I'd imagine their first time would be stimualated from jealously at other couples who have clearly gone farther. Just sort of the idea getting touched off by some couples making out. And it snowballs from there.

I don't know if that's any help, but I tried ^^'

Let's see...I would say swatting the butt, some light innuendos. Oh, and stuff like them sharing chopsticks or tea. You know. Cute, semi-innocent stuff like that.

Do you see Sakura being all old-fashioned girlish and waiting for Yuji to make the first move, or do you see her more like, grabbing a fistful of his hair and pulling him in for a kiss?

I see her being old-fashioned at first, and Yuji trying to play the right role, but in the end she'd lose it and make the first move. Probably by leaning in. I don't know if I see her totally snapping, but I could see her giving him such an obvious hint that he couldn't possibly miss it.

I think that fits kind of perfectly. xD This is going to be fun to write. Poor Yuji doesn't get enough proper romance action.

My big concern is the medical scene. I'm not sure I portrayed Holmes being in enough agony, and I'm not sure I captured Amy's, er, charming bedside manner, either. Not to mention Dax's reaction didn't feel right. I wanted her to be emotional about both the Trill and sympathetic about Holmes' pain, but I think I made her too whiny about it. Not sure ^^' What do you think?

I can't wait to see those freshly-churned ideas put on paper, and then onto the computer, and then, finally, imprinted on my retinas!

I think it worked out perfectly. I loved the little quip about Amy's "wit and sarcasm." I think Dax's reaction kind of fit- whether or not she has hundreds of years of experience, she's still a woman, and women are more in tune with their emotions than men are. It's a fact of life. I think it fit, considering she doesn't deal with other Trill hosts every day.

Lol. I'm working out the intro right now, which I'll share with you in a bit, if you'll still be up.

I wanted to make it clear that Amy is Bashir right-hand woman. That, and because he has experience with this surgery, I figured Amy would defer to him. I had hoped to make it more Amy and Holmes oriented, but it just didn't fit.
Should I have had Dax watch more of the surgery before Sisko pulled her away? Or maybe add something about her reaction to Holmes' scream of pain?

I think you're overthinking it. It was perfect, I quickly picked up on the emotional vibe you were trying to get across.

Oh, good. I think you're right. I've got to be overthinking it. Now comes the good part of the story, which I'm looking forward to writing. Dax's reaction, Holmes' personality with the Trill inside him (which is creepy as hell to write, I might add, given how Holmes is similar to me), and the plot of how the Trill was attacked unfolds.

I think her short hair is good. Yuji agrees with me. He also says I'm a complete prick, but that's besides the point. He likes you now, since he's finally going to get laid XD

Another question- where would you see Yuji taking Sakura for their multiple-month anniversary? A more casual setting, like a higher-end bar, or a full-out black-tie ballroom kind of thing?

Oh, good question. I see him bringing her back to a special spot. Someplace somewhat dark and private. Maybe a teahouse where they had a special date. Something that a lot of guys wouldn't remember. You know, the cheesy romantic thing where it's like 'yeah, this was where we had our first kiss. Remember the thing with the green tea?'

Lol that's pretty darn cute. Is that something you yourself would do?

Sakura danced around her room excitedly, throwing a mix of clothes on her bed and sorting through her rather large collection of shoes. It had been exactly three months- in about two hours- since Yuji, her dark-haired, girl-shy boyfriend, plucked up the courage to ask her out. She hadn’t been expecting it, but when she got home from work- Kakashi was useless, she practically had to run the village herself- there was a bouquet of red roses on her doorstep, along with a note with some sappy poetry, as well as the time he was picking her up for their date. She beheld herself in the mirror as she held a green, flirty dress against her chest before discarding it -too dressy¬- and noted the way her eyes sparkled with exhilaration. Tonight’s the night, she thought with determination. I’m not letting him leave until we’re both naked and sweaty.

Quickly stripping down to skin, she rummaged around her drawers until she found her sexiest underwear set. She slipped it on, opting for a simple short black skirt and a loosely fitting (but hugged in all the right places) long-sleeve cashmere sweater that just happened to be the exact shade of green as her eyes. Well, that’s what Yuji told her when he gave it to her for her birthday, anyway. She quickly tousled some gel through her hair, giving it a slightly mussed, wavy look that would hold up to the autumn chill. Her doorbell rang then, and she ran down the stairs, stuffing her feet hastily into her boots before flinging the door open. Her bright green eyes locked with Yuji’s warm brown ones, and an easy smile settled on both of their faces.

“Ready to go?” Yuji asked, the gentle baritone of his voice never failing to soothe her. He held out a hand, which she took readily. Their fingers threaded together, and they stepped out to face the night.

Not much. I'm a pretty casual watcher. I only watch really because Bruce Cambell is one of my favorite actors. I love Fiona's character, but I think there could have been someone better to play her.

Thanks for the comment on 'Serving'. You're right, but seriously- do you see Yuji having a one night stand? It doesn't suit his character or something. He's supposed to be this paragon of virtue that suffers constantly. Although I was tempted to have him and Kuroko hook up.

Burn Notice Season 3 SPOILERS! Just so you know!

Well, at the very last episode Gilroy was in, he actually did a kind thing for Michael. Touching, really. Gilroy is badly beaten, buckled into his car with a bomb strapped to his chest. Michael gets in the car, but Gilroy warns him off, saying, "Did I mention I have a bomb attached to my chest?" Michael actually looks a bit teary-eyed, and Gilroy puts his hand over Michael's, saying something like, "You better run along, now."

There was a little hint at a further sort of relationship with them. So I'm going to do a slash sort of "when they're not on-camera," while still being canon. Ish.

Well, it's like, in a guy/girl relationship, the guy is usually looked at as the dominant figure. So in a guy/guy relationship, it's a battle for dominance that they otherwise wouldn't experience. It's intoxicating.

I'd love to see how you'd handle an AzaYuji fic. Albeit with their names changed to something else.

I can understand that thinking. Although in my case, I prefer male/female femdom. Well, duh, I created Azami for that, I guess. But I also enjoy that sort of thing when it's a girl/girl deal.

Why change the names?

I dunno, but bondage really turns me off. I mean, mild kink is one thing, like one party holding the other's wrists so they can't move, or slight exhibitionism, but chains and whips and stuff... giving total control or receiving it... it just feels wrong.

Partly because I want to keep my OC's apart from some of that, but my first thought was that you'd probably get more readers if you didn't make it like an out and out anime OC thing. Just based on my own experience at ff. They might take to the story more if the characters had different names. (Shrug) That's only a suggestion, of course, on both counts.
Although, if you're writing a 'normal' story, maybe something between Yuji and Sakura would be better?

I'm curious about it. Not saying whether or not I'd like it, but I'm definitely curious. I think it's because I object to guys treating girls roughly, so if it were reversed it would seem justified somehow? lol I don't know. Maybe I'm just a masochist.

Oh, one more idea struck me for our co-op fic. Besides Bajoran terrorists, then having them join the maquis, I had a couple ideas:

-Holmes' past will be revealed, and it will involve Voyager. I want to have him thinking about it for a few episodes, until it all comes to a head. Maybe in an episode where a Voyager transmission reaches DS9 through a spatial anamoly. They could be requesting help, leaving Amy, Dax, Holmes, and Kira to investigate the source of the call. They could try to create an artificial wormhole (been done, I know, but:) based off their knowledge of the Bajoran wormhole. Holmes could eventually reveal what happened to him, and that could coincide with a maquis/bajoran terrorist attack on them on the Defiant. That motivates Holmes to eliminate the groups, making him more aggressive. That's his ticket out of being a raw babyface. Make him more of an edgy protagonist.

For Amy, I was thinking that maybe she and Bashir should get into a relationship almost right away. That way, you could tell about Amy's exciting world as a girl in a relationship (plus the hardships. It would be different from O'brien since they aren't married) while I could showcase Yuji's desire for Dax.

How do you think I should categorize it, then?

Honestly, a little roughness is totally welcome from time to time. Like me, I wouldn't mind some rough sex now and then, as long as that isn't ALL it was.

I like that idea, and yeah I think that makes sense. It's gonna take me a little while to be focused enough to do anything more than one-shots for a little while, though. Once school gets into the swing of things, that shouldn't be too much of a problem. I'm very scatterbrained in the summer.

Chicago doesn't have the biggest convention. There are only a handful of other people there. The one in Vegas, however, had over 70 stars. It's easier to say "I paid that much for 70 people". (Shrug) at least for me. I'd love to meet Nimoy, though.

Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi) is in his late twenties, living in the Echo Park section of Los Angeles, California and working at a dead end job as a computer expert in the Nerd Herd at the Burbank Buy More a large retail consumer-electronics chain comparable to "Best Buy", with his best friend, Morgan Grimes. Chuck is intelligent but lacks direction. His sister Ellie and her boyfriend (husband as of the end of season 2) Devon "Captain Awesome" Woodcomb are doctors who are constantly encouraging Chuck to make progress in his professional and romantic life.
At the beginning of the series, Chuck receives an e-mail from Bryce Larkin, his former Stanford University roommate, who became a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agent and was suspected of going rogue. The entire merged database of the CIA and National Security Agency (NSA) — called the Intersect — is subliminally embedded into Chuck's brain via encoded images when Chuck opens the email. Both agencies dispatch agents - Major John Casey from the NSA and Agent Sarah Walker from the CIA — to retrieve the data.

As for the last one...that Kai Winn was incredible! She even told me to 'Walk with the prophets, child' in a perfect voice.

The spots were my Mom's work, actually. So they're authentic (and hard as hell to get off!). I had been sporting a light five o'clock shadow, but shaved it off for that pic.

Still working on DS9 ideas thus far. Having a good time getting ideas and character quirks down. That's about it. Which TV shows are occupying your time atm?

Lol I'm actually surprised you remember my height preference. Although, don't give up hope so soon! I'm not so picky that I'll pass somebody up because they're a few inches too short for my preference. As long as you're taller than me, we're fine. xD
