KIba raised a brow at Ryo's erratic and irrational behavior,but copied him none the less placing a blade to his own neck and repeated his speech word for word. With a desperate thought Kiba cast around in his head for a way out of this without breaking face. If this Technic was to work it had to be done correctly and perfectly timed. A bead of sweat glistened on his brow as he ran the jutsu through his mind willing his chakra to do his bidding without the use of handseals which was a difficult feat. As Ryo slashed the blade acoss his throat Kiba released several Jutsu at once. First one blunting the blade Ryo had slashed himself with but letting it retain the feeling the pain would have given. The second one replacing Kiba's body with a clone in the blink of an eye. A difficult feat which left a knick on his neck as Kiba flickered to safety out of sight. The clone replacing where he had stood not fairing so well. Kiba hoped this would startle Ryo enough to possibly end the fight. Even if Ryo were to examin the body Kiba held the chakra flow into the clone with difficulty (as a dead clone was hard to create)letting it fade back into Kiba's image with a slashed neck.

I can't win...

Ryouko knew that. He had been in tight spots, but this time he really stood no chance. He could make a desperate move, but even he couldn't be sure of the results. All the same.

"Sis Mea Pars," Ryouko said in disgust. His clones disappeared and their chakra flowed back to him.

"Kiba, I haven't spent these past years doing nothing. There's more to me than you know. You can follow handsigns, but..."

Ryouko saw himself and tripped over his words. "Damn you..." he finally growled. Backed into a corner, he played his last desperate ace.

"Fine then, copy of mine. Follow my lead!" Ryouko held a kunai to his own neck. "You know how samurais are, Kiba. Honor above all. And losing to you after all this...not honorable in the least. But if I'm going to fall, it'll be by MY hand!"

Kiba watched from his vantage point on the pillar as one of Ryo's clones with a blind puch succeded in burning Ryo. With that burn Kiba watched as with a grimace of pain Ryo ralized his trick. As Ryo ordered his clones towards his Kiba gave another silent command and his clones took a step backwards through the barrier to the space between the layers now safe from inside and outside attack should they be interupted. Continuing to sit cooly on the pillar Kiba reached out with his mind toward Ryo hoping to catch his next move as he thought it. As Ryo Scaled the wall Kiba detected the faintest ghost of a jutsu eminate in the distant mind of Ryo. With a silent grin Kiba matched the hasty handseals of Ryo Casting a berage of Exploding shadow Shuriken back at Ryo. "Seriousness is in the eyes of the beholder my friend." Kiba let the thin smile continue. "Let's see how he enjoys fighting himself and his clones. With a few handseals the mind Jutsu was complete. The next time Ryo looked at him he would see himself and Kiba was going to have fun with this. Nothing like fighting a mirror. "Now for the final touches. A copy of his clones." Creating three new clones identical to Ryo's Kiba sent them off to wander the arena just as Ryo's were.

Ryouko didn't notice that Kiba's attack had been a genjutsu until he misstepped and a clone burned him. The darkness lifted.

So this is how far his mind attacks run... my 'specialty' is useless. And now we're penned in. I'd recognize that jutsu anywhere after watching the Third Hokage die. I never DID learn how to break it, either. Just as well. I don't want any intereference in this match.

Ryouko changed his tactics. Using bursts of speed by opening and closing the first gate of chakra, he took note of the locations of the cloens. They could move quickly. A clone to clone defense was the best. His sword-toting clones went work on tracking Kiba's clones.

Now to search for Kiba... Ryouko wasn't going to repeat his trick, as it was obviously innefective. Instead, he chose to get a bird's eye view by running up the wall and to the top of the ceiling. From there, he spotted Kiba sitting pretty on a pillar.

"Now you choose not to take me seriously?!" Ryouko half-snarled. Kiba wasn't the only one who could play with knives.

"Explosive Multi Shuriken Shadow Clones!" Shurkien with explosives attached rained toward Kiba.
