No offense taken. And, well, the leaders are interesting. The Pope is kind of like the president, then the cardinals (Who choose the next pope) are kind of like vice presidents, then the bishops are the House of Reps, and the Priests are Senators. It's all supposed to keep organization.

My personal belief is close to yours. Sex is an expression of love, and it's supposed to be love in it's purest form, almost a rebirth, I guess. I know it's been compared to birth.

Well, it starts with Adam and Eve. They're told "Don't eat this fruit." Adam does with a little help from Eve, and that means all their children (since they were the only two on earth, in theory, we all descended from them) were born with Adam and Eve's "Original Sin". But that's clensed by Baptism. Then you can clense additional sins through confession, reconciliation, and (When you're dying, or very sick), annointing of the sick. That, and if you don't know you sinned, or you don't have the ability to understand sin, you're forgiven. The only condition for pretty much all of these is that you have to be repentent for your mistakes.

For example, say I killed a man defending someone else. The police are fine with it, because he had a gun and I did what I had to, so I'm not going to jail, or being fined, whatever. According to Catholicism, I should confess this to a priest (who can't tell anyone else, or he goes to hell), and then he would give me a chance to repent. (Say 20 prayers, etc). Once I've told a priest and done what he says, I'm cleansed of the sin of murder. (Even though it's related to one of the "Mortal sins", like Lust, greed, envy, sloth, gluttony, etc. Does that make sense?
