"Wow, it looks pretty far. But we have to do this, for Clover!" Gina said as she followed SOnic out of the door to start their quest.

Shadow was still holding Clover's hand, tighter as her breathing grew harder and tears flourished from the corner of his eyes. He stared at Angel and slowly nodded before throwing his head onto Clover's arm and weeping at the thought of losing his new-found love.

"Clover!" Shadow gasped in fear as he ran to his girlfriends side, taking her hand in his, fear plastered on his face.

Gina finished off the last robot and ran to the gang's side.

"We've got to get her back to Angel's, right away!"

Shadow picked Clover up and the three Hedgehogs ran off at super speed to Angel.

The gang quickly ran to the park and were faced with the hugest robot they had ever seen.

"Whoa..." Gina said, her mouth agape.

"It's nothing we can't handle!" Shadow grinned as he leapt up and landed on the robot's head, leaving a dent in it as he bounded across the robot and slashed it with his Chaos Spear and quick reflexes. Gina followed his example, fire everywhere as Chaos Flames was released.

Gina, who was still laughing, pulled her boyfriend from behind her, leaning to his ear.
"I think it's alright to come out now." She spoke softly, still laughing a little at Shadow's cake-covered face. Sonic crept out, nodding slightly and stood beside Gina and Angel. "Man am I hungry!" Gina burst out, eyeing all the untouched food on the table next to the cake.

"Your always hungry" Shadow spoke quickly as he took a breather from kissing Clover (which didn't last long, might I add) before pulling his lips back on to her's.

Gina shot Sonic a look.
It looks like they're finally happy
Was what her expression seemed to read. Sonic nodded as they sat side by side on the sofa to watch the movie. The two couples sat there and enjoyed the film and being together, at least for now.

Shadow returned the kiss and then nodded. "ounds like a plan!" He grinned.

Gina and Sonic dashed across the plains but Sonic won by far, Gina was too tired out from her hatred of running. They edged up to Clover and Angel's house (Gina still panting from the effort of running) and knocked on Angel and Clover's door.
"Hey look!" Gina smiled as she peered through the window to see Shadow and Clover side by side watching a movie.

Good, it was kind of a bummer getting stuck with a five-year old, so how was yours?

Well.......... I'm kinda bored, you?

Shadow's face instantly lit up with a huge grin and he practically leapt over and hugged lover tightly.
"Thank you..." He whispered with a smile on his face.

"Let's run! I know you love running!" Gina smiled warmly.

Shadow just smiled as Clover rumaged around the kitchen for some food.
"Clover?" He asked taking a deep breath. "Will...will you be my g-girlfriend?" He stuttered.

Gina and Sonic pulled away from the odd kiss, blushing more brightly than the spaghetti sauce.
"I think we should go home now." Gina smiled as they finished up the meatballs. "I bet Shadow and Clover went back to Clover's house so lets check there first." She smiled as they both got up to leave.

Shadow was now blushing brighter red than his quills but he still managed to put his arms around Clover's waist to support her as he deepened the kiss. For the first time since Maria's death, Shadow thought that he had finally found love again.

Gina wrapped her arms around Sonic' neck as he pulled her closer to him as the kiss got deeper and Gina begun to blush a bright red.

"R-Realy?" Shadow gulped, shooting up to look at Clover right in the eyes to see the sweet compassion that made him know she was telling the truth. He swallowed herd before pivoting closer to her, his muzzle next to hers.
It's a good thing Gina's not here to ruin it this time Shadow thought as he was so close to Clover that he could feel her breath against his. Scrunching his eyes shut, he finally forced his mouth onto Clover's, closing the gap between the two as he pressed his lips against her's.

Meanwhile, Gina and Sonic were quietly eating their spaghetti and meatballs. Gina giggled as she slurped a piece of spaghetti and it flicked upwards and sauce bounced onto her nose.Sonic laughed alone with her but after a few second, they both got back to eating the delicious spaghetti. Not really looking at the plate, Gina curled some spaghetti around her fork and pulled it to her mouth, not knowing that a the same moment, Sonic was also bringing the same piece of spaghetti to his mouth. They both begun to chew on the spaghetti as it pulled them closer together without them both really noticing and before long, the spaghetti grew so short that the two ended locking lips in a kiss. Suprised at first, Gina stared at Sonic with wide eyes but then grew used to it and closed them to enjoy the kiss. It was an odd kiss, it tasted some-what of tomato sauce but the two hedgehogs took no notice and continued the warm kiss, just being happy to be with one another.

Shadow again looked away o avoide Clover's eyes. "Umm, y-yes." He said in a small voice whilst placing his hand on top of Clover's. He then plucked enough courage and turned to face Clover seeing her blushing as well but soon hid his face away again.



"Oh wow, this does smell good!" Gina said eying the steaming plate of spaghetti and meatballs in front of the two.

Shadow looked to the ground. "There's no need to apoligise." He mumbled. "I-I l-like you anyway." He blushed bright red at these words.


"So have you eaten here before?" Gina asked Sonic admiring him across the table.

"I just wanted to make sure you were ok. Please come out." Shadow replied in a small voice as he waited for Clover's response."


"Oh good, I want some meatballs for some reason!" Gina laughed.

Shadow nodded a thanks to Angel before swallowing hard and walking into Clover's room.
"Clover?" He called scanning the area for her. It was then that he noticed a bulge under the bed covers and a small sniffing sound that sounded somewhat like crying coming from underneath it. "Clover? Is that you?" Shadow asked sympathetically sitting on the side of the bed.


"Hmmm, what kinda food do they serve here?" Gina pondered looking around.

"She did?" Shadow asked as he refused to meet Angel's eyes so he stared towards his feet. "um, I think I'll go and see her." He blushed as he slowly made his way to her room. He knocked on the door a couple of times. "Clover?"


"Sure that'd be great! I am quite hungry!" Gina laughed also wondering what happened to Shadow and Clover.

"What was all that about?" Shadow asked himself as he stooped down the road with his shoulders slumped. As he walked back to his house, he carefully eyed Clover's house as he passed it only to rush back to it after walking past. He thought for a moment and then eventually went up and knocked on the door, slowly fumbling his gloved fingers together. Afetr a few moments, Angel opened the door.


Meanwhile, Gina and Sonic were heading back to the beach with some charms in their hands for Shadow and Clover. When they reached the sandy spot where they had left the two, they found all the stuff to be gone. Gina stood with her mouth agape.

"Great, they took the food!" She grumbled.

After a few minutes, Shadow pulled away from the hug, awkewardly blushing as he looked Clover in the eye.

"Heh, my bro sure knows how to scare people!" Gina smiled.

"Oh you can count on it!" Shadow grinned. Without really thinking of what he was doing, he pulled Clover towards him and hugged her tightly. His eyes then shot open as he realised what he had done but he realised that Clover wasn't rejectin the hug so he closed his eyes once again and let her warm aroma surround him.

Heh that's true! You should have seen the death glare he gave me!" ina giggled whilst picking up some mugs and examining them.



(Yup! ^^)

(Hmmm, maybe they could have been friends at the start of the story and then the year later when Clover meets Shadow again, he realises how beautiful she's got so they spend a l;ot of time together which in time leads to Shadow confessing his love to her. ^^)

"Oh we sure do!" Shadow grinned. "Were the international butt-kickers!" he stated as he begun to laugh hysterically.

"Awww, thanks Sonic!" Gina smiled kissing his cheek. "But I was thinking maybe we should get a gift for Shadow and Clover, ya know, like an apology gift." She smiled.



(Lol poor Sonic has no idea! X3)

"Really?" Shadow grinned right across his face. "That's great news!" He smiled whilst hugging Clover tightly. He then quickly pulled away. "Sorry..." He stated before looking at the sand again.

"I think Shadow might have been kinda mad at me for jumping him and Clover like that so I wanted to give them some alone time." Gina stated. "But whilst were here, I wouldn't mind looking around!" Gina grinned.

Shadow refused to look at Sonic as he commented and instead carried on staring towards the waves. Gina thought she knew what the problem was and felt bad for ruining Shadow and Clover's moment together, she stared coldly at her cone as ice-cream dripped down the side and onto the soft sand sighing to herself.

Shadow didn't know what to do now, the whole conversation was ruined and he had lost all his confidence. Worse yet, Gina and Sonic were sitting between himself and Clover so he couldn't even see her anymore.
"Great, just as I was getting close to her!" He mumbled under his breath. Gina looked thoughtfully at Shadow and grabbing Sonic's hand, she pulled him up stating that her and Sonic were off to the souvenir shop leaving Shadow and Clover alone. As the two walked off, Shadow turned back to Clover and saw her staring at the sand lapping up her ice-cream. He gulped but managed to summon enough courage to shuffle closer to her and speak again.

"Um, so have you thought about joining Team Dark?" He asked in a scared tone afraid that Clover's answer would defy his own.



(That's fine, I can't wait to read it! ^^)

Shadow once again blinked hard at Clover's comment. "You'd miss me?" He blushed lightly. "I'd miss you too." He said avoiding Clover's gaze. He then turned to her and leaned towards her, his lips slowly moving towards hers.

"Hey you two, here's your ice-cream!" Gina grinned as she pounced on the two, throwing Shadow off guard and head first into the sand. Sonic trailed behind her carrying all the ice-cream. Once Shadow had managed to pull himself out of the sand, he scowled at his sister for the fact that she'd just ruined his perfect moment. Reluctantly, he snatched his ice-cream out of Sonic's hand, cupping his knees in between one arm and roughly begun to lick his ice-cream throwing a cold stare towards the rolling waves.

"A whole year?" Shadow asked in an upset tone as his ears slowly drooped across his quills. "That's a long time. Have you decided yet?" He asked hopefully.

Gina blushed but soon returned the passionate kiss. After a while, she felt her hand become slightly sticky, pulling away from Sonic to realise that Shadow and Clover's ice-creams were melting.

"Uh oh, we better get these to Shadow and Clover before there's nothing left!" She giggled taking Sonic's hand with her free one as they both walked across the sand towards Shadow and Clover who seemed to be getting on like a house on fire now.


(Lol that's always the problem I have! X3 But I can't wait for the summary ^^)

"Wow that's amazing!" Shadow gasped. "I never knew you were so powerful! We should team up sometime, we'd make a good team." He stated. "Maybe you could join Team Dark?"

"And another 2 chocolates please!" Gina smiled to the ice-cream man. He quickly dished up the four ice-creams and handed them over to the two hedgehogs. Gina instantly dug into a chocolate one leaving her face smothered in chocolate ice-cream.

Shadow blinked hard. "Wow that's amazing! You have some great powers!" He smiled, feeling a bit more confident than before. Maybe they did have something in common. Power.

"Oh look it's our turn" Gina grinned as she dragged Sonic towards the ice cream cart.

As Clover turned her head towards Shadow he instantly looked towards the floor. Poor Shadow wasn't used to being around many girls apart from Rouge and his sister and he found it hard to figure out what to say.
"Heh, it sure is!" He smiled uneasily. "Ur, so do you like the sun?" He blushed.

"Hmmm, I hope it's not too long, I'm craving some chocolate at the moment!" Gina giggled and then shot a glance at Shadow and Clover. "Poor Shadow..." She mumbled.


(Lolz yeah, poor Shadow doesn't know what do do! X3)

Whilst Gina and Sonic queued up waiting to buy ice-creams, Shadow and Clover were left alone. Clover was lying back with her sunglasses over her eyes soaking up some rays whilst Shadow uneasily lay on one side, thoughts flooding his mind.
"Heh, nice day huh?" He grinned after a while in an almost scared voice.

Gina blushed as she hugged Sonic's neck tightly as Clover begun to pull ou a towel next to Shadow's and lay down. Shadow just kept staring at her, a smirk fell upon Gina's face.
"I think we'll leave you two alone!" She grinned. Shadow shot a death glare at his sister. "Whatever, me and Sonic are going to get some ice-cream, do you want one?"
"Uh, vanilla please! And get one for Clover too!" Shadow replied. Gina smiled warmly.
"Ok. Come on Sonic!" She smiled whilst grabbing Sonic's hand, leaving Shadow and Clover sunbathing.

"yup!" Gina said as she walked out of the changing rooms sporting a blue swimsuit with a pink skirt attached to it, dark blue sandals and pink sunglasses placed in between her ears on her head.
"Bout time!" Shadow said as they walked back to the boys. Shadows gaze slowly fell upon Clover but he shook his head before staring at the sand again.

"I'll come with you, I don't know where the changing rooms are!" Gina laughed before turning her gaze on Sonic and Shadow. "No arguing now and stay out of trouble until we get back!"
"Whatever." Shadow sighed before the two girls scurried off. "Better not get too close to the water Sonic, you might drown." Shadow grinned evilly at his blue companion.

"Here Shadow, you carry the picnic and the bags." Gina said shoving them into his chest.
"Why?" Shadow blinked hard.
"Because I hate running as it is and it will be even harder if I'm carrying bags!" Gina grinned as she dashed off.
"What?" Shadow sighed and then ran off, following his sister towards the beach.

As they got there, Clover was waiting with Sonic by the entrance to the beach, Sonic looked as impatient as ever and Clover was just smiling as she saw Gina and Sadow approach them.
"Hey Clover, Sonic!" Gina smiled.
"Hey faker." Shadow grinned in a playful manner.


(That's awesome powers! 8D)

After a while, Gina had managed to pack her's and Shadows swim stuff and make a small picnic whilst Shadow came trudging down the stairs looking very sleepy indeed, he had obviously just got up.
"Well that only took half an hour!" Gina said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes. Shadow shot a menacing look at her and just yawned, stretching his arms high into the air as he closed his eyes.
"Your the one who woke up at 2pm yesterday." Shadow replied in his usual grumpy tone causing Gina to blush.
"I was tired." Was her only quick reply.
"Yeah so stop blaming me then." Shadow rolled his eyes as he caught sight of Clover who was still standing in the doorway.
"You could have offered for her to come in you know?" Shadow growled at his sister. "Hello Clover."

"The beach? Sounds awesome! And Sonic's coming too? I'll get my beach gear!" She smiled whilst rushing off. "Shadow, wake up you lazy head were going to the beach!"

Clover waited for a while but after a few moments, a black and red hedgehog answered it.
"Oh hello Clover! Are you here to see my brother?" The hedgehog known as Gina asked referring to her brother, Shadow the Hedgehog.

"Chloe..." he moves some loose strands out of her eyes, his fingertips brushing her pale skin so lightly.

"Great...Now what about school...?" he interrogated.

Ikuto slipped down from the tree and walked over to her, knelled next to her and watched her. "How have things been?"

"You're no fun..." he pouted a bit.

Ikuto only smirked. "Is that so...?" he leaned back on his heel, then grabbed the branch and swung up. "Wanna come up?" he asked, holding a hand out to her.

Ikuto just smiled at her, then swung down to the ground and put his face only inches away from hers. "So...What are you doing here...?"

Jaden stared for a moment, surprised. Then smiled, leaned forward, tilted her head up and gave her a full kiss.

Jaden blushed slightly, "Y-Yeah..."

"It's okay...It's not your fault..." Jaden cooed.

"Alley..." Jaden ran over and held her tightly.

"Why would I lie?" Jaden kept a stern face at her. "Call off the duel...And let's go home..."

"That's what you upset about?!" Jaden yelled. He took a deep breath and looked at her sincerely. "Alley...That girl kissed me...I pushed her and told her off...because..." he looked at the ground and blushed faintly.
"I like you..." he looked at her again. "I really like you Alley..."

(Uhhhh...Can you give me Jaden's reason for the kiss?^^; )

"And how did I hurt you?" Jaden said, playing two cards face down.

"Because you're acting really strange!" he shouted, playing a spell card that defeated her monster.

"Answer me!" he demanded as he did the same.

"Tch..." Jaden watched his monster destroyed and his life points dropping. "What exactly did I do?"

"Why are you doing this?" Jaden demanded, staring sternly at her.

Jaden's eyes widened to the darkness surrounding him and her.
"Alley...?" he questioned. Just then, a duel disk appeared on his arm along with his deck in place.
"W-What the...?" he tried to pull off the duel disk, but with no luck. He grimaced at Alley and closed his eyes. "I guess you're not giving me a choice..." he said, opening his eyes.

"We can duel tomorrow! When it's not raining! Now, stop being stupid and let's go back!" Jaden protested.

"Eh? What are you talking about? Come on...It's late and it's raining let's go back to the dorms..." Jaden held out his hand to her.

Jaden turned around to the sound of his name.
"Alley! I'm so glad to see you! I've been looking everywhere for you," he smiled. "Man...You're soaking wet...Take my jacket..." he slipped his jacket off and placed it on a stiff Alley; maneuvering around the umbrella he was holding.

They reached a huge room with an old stairway to a platform. The platform carved in ancient symbols.
"Stand in the center," the man pointed to the platform as Alley obeyed.
Alley stood on the platform as the man raised his hand in the air. Lightning struck out and the carvings under Alley's feet began to glow green. Alley stared at the ground as the whisps of smoke surrounded her. Her eyes widened and she through her head back; the lights shut off and Alley stood there, her hair covering her face. She brushed it out of the way and grinned wryly.
"Now...Find that Jaden boy..."

(Now, cut to Jaden looking for her and have Alley appear to him~X33)

"This way..." the man walked a path as Alley followed.

It was dark. It looked like an old warehouse. The pitter patter of rain was heard on the roof. Wires went throughout the building. Doors to other rooms. The room shades of boring gray.
