I don't really see why Shadow would target the master emerald.  He never really seems interested in it in the context of the games or even the comics.  ... unless... maybe he would just be going after it to give Ekyt trouble since he's human?  I could actually see him trying to drive Ekyt away and maybe even attempting to convince the others that humans are nothing but unreliable, meddling creatures who shouldn't be trusted with any form of responsibility.
Oh, while I'm thinking  about it, quick question, is Shadow going to be the main villain(Aside from Robotnik) in this like he usually turns out to be, or a kind-of back and forth anti-hero?  Or did you have some other plan for him?

Oh yeah, I forgot about Nack!  It would be interesting to see him come back.  Some sort of bounty for Julie-Su would be a good idea, what would we have for the prerequisite though?  I'm going to guess it would be Dr. Robotnik who set the bounty for her.  Maybe she had a sabotage mission a while back and afterwards, Dr. Robotnik hired Nack to capture her and bring her back to be roboticized or something along those lines.  Funny how he manages to find her on the day of Ekyt and Linda-Su's wedding... haha, those two can't catch a break!

I agree!  It's a great start so far.  Good idea, it'll be easier to keep track of this way
Here's what I've got:

- Tiffany is in GUN custody and is promised her freedom if she cooperates with them; however, after learning that they had no intention on setting her free, she escapes; but is chased by some robots, which she effortlessly shoots down before disappearing in the forest.

-Deciding she needs to have some sort of idea on where she is, she scouts out the terrain, soon discovering Angel Island, where she notices the battle.

- She makes her way onto the island where she encounters Linda-Su, whom she helps escape from the island using Chaos Control (through the master emerald's power)

- (You summed up that part pretty well, so I'll skip past that; also, feel free to add to this if you have an idea for it, I'm kind of winging it here)  Tiffany joins the freedom fighters and slowly starts to gain their trust, but doesn't really get "close" to any of them 

-  A couple weeks later.  While Tiffany is on patrol, she bumps into Shadow, who is surprised to see someone had finally woken her up, and naturally won't admit he's happy to see her.  They begin to catch up, however, their conversation is cut short as a group of GUN robots managed to locate them and attack.  Shadow questions how much trouble Tiffany had gotten herself into, and Tiffany assures him it wasn't nearly as much as he had caused (Sonic would most likely have told her about Shadow's attempt to destroy the planet).  They take out the robots and Tiffany coaxes Shadow into coming back to Knothole with her.

I'm not sure how you want Shadow and Ekyt's first encounter to go, so I'll leave that to you.  I'm not sure who to have crash the wedding... I'll sleep on it and see if I can think of anyone (Too tired to think of good plots right now, sorry)

Interesting idea.  That could work very well, in fact.  It just dawned on me that Tiffany's portion of this story could easily pick up where my story leaves off.  In the "end"(not sure if I'm going to continue it or not in its own dimension), Tiffany will be on the run from GUN, who think she is too dangerous to be set free(Don't worry, I'm not massively spoiling the story by telling you this.  It was kind of a given); also, they really don't want another "Shadow" running around.  After escaping, she could find herself near Angel Island and see an explosion from the ground, which she decides to investigate and what you said happens.  Though if we go with this, Shadow would not yet know that his sister had finally been taken out of suspended animation(If he even remembers he has a sister, after the whole amnesia thing); so she would most likely be on her own.  Since the master emerald is there though, she'd be able to handle herself and get them out of there using chaos control.  Maybe Shadow could later on sense her signal or something via telepathy(Mind hive or whatever... weird alien telepathy... that's what I'll call it) and come looking for her.

I like the idea of Ekyt and Tiffany having that kind of understanding.  Tiffany would hold a lot of respect for him for sticking with the freedom fighters despite how poorly he's treated by some of them.  That alone may be the reason she was willing to join their side in the first place.  After what happened on the ARK, she may have some trouble trusting humans(She absolutely despises GUN at this point), but she would warm up to Ekyt pretty quickly

Wow, you just read my mind.  I actually had this scenario in my mind about a week ago.  The thought came to mind that Ekyt is Tiffany's future father-in-law.  Then I thought about Shadow's reaction to being "related" to one of his arch-rivals, and I nearly lost it.  I don't know, it came off as a very comedic scenario to me.  It's just so ironic you would bring that up!  And it just works so well too; Tiffany wouldn't want them fighting and most likely would want to find a way to intervene and get them on the same side.  
As for helping plan Ekyt and Linda-Su's wedding; I don't think she'd really have enough experience to plan a wedding(At least at that point in time),  She's happy to help of course, but she would probably be more on the technical side of things(setting up decorations and whatnot).  Unless you had some idea already as to how that would play out; 'cus I'm happy to hear it :)

Ideas from me... hmmm...  Well, I was trying to scrap together how Tiffany actually came to join the freedom fighters, since I was kinda.... really vague about her meeting with them.  Though most of my ideas haven't gone anywhere,  It might be a good way to establish a stronger bond between her and the other characters.  It might even add a bit of drama(If you're up for that, of course).  Most likely some of them would have doubts about her thanks to her brother's wonderful track record.  I could see a handful of interesting scenarios coming out of this.  What do you think?

I know, we need editors, NG!  That way they can do all the annoying proof-reading for us!

Ooh, a co-op fic?  That sounds like fun!  Sure, I'd love to!  I haven't done any collaborative writing in a while, so it'll be a nice change in pace :)

Ugh, I've done that before with Link when he was supposed to lose one of his weapons.  Or I forget that I gave him an injury, or forget which part of him I injured.  Luckily, I don't post anything I write(Since I never finish anything), so I catch it and just fix it.  I actually have a lot of stories.  I wish I could get myself to finish them so I wouldn't feel guilty about starting to write a story and leaving my readers hanging by not finishing it :(  I'm going to make myself write Prototype though.  Poor Tiffany needs something to redeem the lack of character I used to give her.
You know, it occurs to me that using her in your stories was probably quite difficult for you since you didn't have much to go off of, sorry about that  ^_^'

I understand how that can be.  I'm usually the sort to think a story out forever until I no longer progress in the story because I can't limit myself to one idea, so I have a hundred alternate dimensions that don't go anywhere due to my lack of focus.  It's annoying.  I've never finished a story because of this reason alone.  I think I'm just going to have to just sit down and type the story out without allowing myself to change what's already been written, otherwise my story won't go anywhere.  Yeesh, maybe I'm just not cut out to be a writer.  Oh well, it's just a pastime anyway.

I too experience fanfiction guilt.  And I handle it the same way...  well, I don't usually give them their own story, but I do make alternate realities where the character doesn't die.  You should see how many scenarios I've made for Link's father in OoT XD  but yeah, if It really hits me hard, I might do a one-off for them.  Hopefully I can power through it without feeling too guilty.

I know, right?  I'm going to have to force myself not to do that, because the impact won't be as strong if they don't stay dead.  *sigh*  I just like this character so much, it's going to be hard to say good-bye!

Ah, I gotcha.  Well, I'm glad you got a good balance in there that works well :)  I suppose it's true you don't want to make a story too depressing.

LOL, getting excited over a fatality?  You crack me up NG!  I'm actually going to have a hard time killing this character off.  The more and more I develop the character, the less and less I want to kill them :(  It's going to be a sad death indeed.
