Hi! I just got through reading your biography and I just wanted to say that you've inspired me. When I was younger, I used to always draw, you know little doodles. I started drawing anime when I first saw Sailor Moon. But now my friends tell me that my style shifted towards a more different look. And yet I still haven't noticed...anyway, ever since than, I made it my goal to at least become a manga artist. I'm sorting through schools right now. Your artwork is amazing! Hmm quick question about your pencils...I know you use prismacolor but what pack and type do you reccomend i have just the regular ones and soft lead.

I just use the regular kind myself. I heard somewhere the water color ones were what anime artists use... but... I am not sure on that one. :)

thank u thank u thank u ^___^ that helps alot actually i've never tried to use a white color pencil to blend actually O__o i didn't know what to use to thank u i also hear ppl use something called a colorless blender... have u heard or tried to use them before? if u have do u think its better than a white pencil? ^__^;; and thank u again even if u didn't have any tips i still learned something new ^__^ so thank u =D yea i believe u are right about the art teachers just teaching u the basics they can't really teach u what u really want to be taught but do u think it useful to take art classes anyways? i mean to get used to the basic? ^__^ if u could answer these questions this one would must appreciate it ^__^ thank u again and i'll be on the lookout for more of ur artwork ^___^ *salutes* =D

I have actually never used a colorless blender before... but seeing as how that's what it's for, I would assume it works just the same. As for taking art classes, it is always beneficial... Art teachers can teach you things, especially if it's a figure drawing class. I would say that would be a class where you would learn the most. Keep practicing.

Thank you for the comment. Much appreciated. I am a self-taught artist... Art Teachers are only to teach you the basics, the rest you must learn on your own. As for tips... there aren't really any... you just have to keep practicing and see what works for you. Say for me, the best way for me to blend colors is a white pencil, but other people use different things. It's all about how you work. ^ ^

Good luck with your manga! A friend of mine knows your pain...She has four fanfictions, one manga that she co-writes, and five mangas that she is drawing herself. She's concentrated on one of them entirely so far because she is almost done with it....until she redraws everything....

hi, yeah never make a kairi-vencent v. pic again. ur a gr8 artist but putting the vice and a whore-slut-dog in the same pic, touching EACHOTHER is a big no-no for all vince fans out there, hes like chronologically(that is spelled wrong im sure)60 years old, while kairi is a pre-her-time prostitute. so yeah, whatever. Vicent is really 27 cuz hes immortal from the chaos-gene but thats irrelevant.

I have been drawing anime for about eleven years now... and coloring for..... five years I believe.

I use Crayola and Prisma colored pencils actually. ^ ^ I used to only use Crayola... but heh... well Prisma blends better. :P

Jenny was so happy about the house they had found. For once in her life 'twas on the right side of town. She unpacked her things with such great ease. As she watched her new curtains blow in the breeze. How wonderful it was to have her own room. School would be starting; she'd have friends over soon. There'd be sleep-overs, and parties; she was so happy It's just the way she wanted her life to be. On the first day of school, everything went great. She made new friends and even got a date! She thought, "I want to be popular and I'm going to be, Because I just got a date with the star of the team!" To be known in this school you had to have clout, And dating this guy would sure help her out. There was only one problem stopping her fate. Her parents had said she was too young to date. "Well I just won't tell them the entire truth. They won't know the difference; what's there to lose?" Jenny asked to stay with her friends that night. Her parents frowned but said, "All right." Excited, she got ready for the big event But as she rushed around like she had no sense, She began to feel guilty about all the lies, But what's a pizza, a party, and a moonlight ride? Well the pizza was good, and the party was great, But the moonlight ride would have to wait. For Dan was half drunk by this time. But he kissed her and said that he was just fine. Then the room filled with smoked and Dan took a puff. Jenny couldn't believe he was smoking that stuff. Now Dan was ready to ride to the point But only after he'd smoked another joint. They jumped in the car for the moonlight ride, Not thinking that he was too drunk to drive. They finally made it to the point at last, And Dan started trying to make a pass. A pass is not what Jenny wanted at all (and by a pass, I don't mean playing football.) "Perhaps my parents were right....maybe I am too young. Boy, how could I ever, ever be so dumb." With all of her might, she pushed Dan away: "Please take me home, I don't want to stay." Dan cranked up the engine and floored the gas. In a matter of seconds they were going too fast. As Dan drove on in a fit of wild anger, Jenny knew that her life was in danger. She begged and pleaded for him to slow down, But he just got faster as they neared the town. "Just let me get home! I'll confess that I lied. I really went out for a moonlight ride." Then all of a sudden, she saw a big flash. "Oh God, Please help us! We're going to crash!" She doesn't remember the force of impact. Just that everything all of a sudden went black. She felt someone remove her from the twisted rubble, And heard, "call an ambulance! These kids are in trouble! Voices she heard...a few words at best. But she knew there were two cars involved in the wreck. Then wondered to herself if Dan was all right, And if the people in the other car was alive. She awoke in the hospital to faces so sad. "You've been in a wreck and it looks pretty bad." These voices echoed inside her head, As they gently told her that Dan was dead. They said "Jenny, we've done all we can do. But it looks as if we'll lose you too." "But the people in the other car!?" Jenny cried. "We're sorry, Jenny, they also died." Jenny prayed, "God, forgive me for what I've done I only wanted to have just one night of fun." "Tell those people's family, I've made their lives dim, And wish I could return their families to them." "Tell Mom and Dad I'm sorry I lied, And that it's my fault so many have died. Oh, nurse, won't you please tell them that for me?" The nurse just stood there-she never agreed. But took Jenny's hand with tears in her eyes. And a few moments later Jenny died. A man asked the nurse, "Why didn't you do your best To bid that girl her one last request?" She looked at the man with eyes so sad. "Because the people in the other car were her mom and dad." This story is sad and unpleasant but true, So young people take heed, it could have been you.

TO SWEETIE 98: To answer the question you asked, for seifer-sama. Crayola. Seifer-sama uses just plain crayola pencils half the time. Although she does have the nicer stuff, crayola is cheaper in her own words to me. lol. Now if someone can do that kind of work with crayola, we should all be freakin geniuses with the prisma by now. lol. ^_^

Hi, uh please don't get mad at me. *cowers* I did'nt think I was "stealing" your art, but does using a pose that you used first, count as "stealing"?
I drew a picture of my charactor Li in the pose you used for Sango. I don't think I have it online anywhere, but if I do, then I will take it off if it bothers you. You have excellent art and I wish you would do a picture for me.
