I put them in the right catagory,but the rejection notice said I didn't!

What's wrong? Is it me or....?

An auto linking system was created, but either it's buggy, or it didn't make it into the current version (I can't remember).

It do's that because 3 picture's you've submited were uploaded today to the site which mean's they've been "submited today". So just wait til tommarrow to submit more pic's.

You need to work on your reading comprehension. "You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears." I don't just randomly poor molten silver in people's ears, I only do so when they do not obey.

Okay troubles again. I tried to re add a picture but it said I already added three. And that's not true. I've only added like two today. And what category would a fan character and a really category go on?

You may have added two today but, maybe one pic just became (what terms should i use?) "Viewable" to other members today that would explain why it said you add/uploaded three pics today. A fan character would probaly go under the "Miscellaneous" category then it would go under the "Characters" category.

for your first promblem make sure when you copy an address it looks like this [img]whatever the address is[ /img] but without any spaces

for your second promblem in your profile above the coments go to show all then it should be fine[/img]

ummmm....why doesn't my avatar show at all? everytime i've tried to change it, an error message pops up saying either "Image conversion failed" or "error resizing". then there are other times the pic is fine and no error pops up, but the avatar pic doesn't come up (like right now)

Image conversion failed. Try re-submitting in another format

I keep getting that message when I try to submit a picture of a furry I drew. I'm not all that computer smart, so I asked my dad what was wrong. He doesn't get it either. Whats going on? This has never happened with any of my other pictures, and I uploaded this to my computer and then to the site the same as I normally do. I have no clue what the matter is. D: HALP MEH.

I just had a piece of art rejected because I didn't ask "permission." Understandable.

But thing is, I gave full and complete credit to the artist, I completely revamped the drawing and colored it.

I was told that this isn't a "file sharing or image hosting site."

Duh? Its a fanart site. It was a bit contradictory of them to deny submission on lack of "permission."

I mean, do I have to ask Akira Toriyama every time I want to submit a DBZ character or Masashi Kishimoto for Naruto?

The copyright rules state that if taken from an original character from another artist, full credit must be given (which it was) so long as no profit is made, not to mention that in order to use the artwork in anyway WITHOUT permission, you must change at least six things about the piece (Warner Bros used this method ALOT to make fun of Disney). This could be a bit shady in my situation but since i inked, colored, and added a background and logo to it...I think I'm pretty safe in that area too. But I still gave full and complete credit, plus I sent several messages letting her know that I did it.

Case in point, I understand why the rejection occured, but your admins need to learn a thing or two about copyright violations before they start accepting artwork. That and I was a little offended by the response of "we are not a file sharing or image hosting site." Even though I buy no service here, I am a customer and that was simply rude.

Eitherway, I'll play this game and send it to her through email and let her deal with it.

The link above is a great resource for when you have questions on picture submission. Most likely, from what I understand from what you have wrote, they submission staff probably didn't like the scanned and used background. You could also check the FAQ (there's a link at the top of your screen under the logo) which has information on submission rules. It's always possible to miss something.

Users who have been on FAC for awhile may have earned 'auto' status, e.g. no need to screen their submissions closely like with new members. Also the staff are very busy don't worry about it they'll get put up sooner or later.

There's a very good chance that she just spent more time on that picture than she did on the others. That happens with a lot of different artists.

Why arent my pictures in the gallery

if you just submited them it may take a day or two (some times even longer) to get acepted or they may have been rejected check your email or go to the pending file and click on the the thingy that says show "pending subbmisons" click on it and scroll down to rejection notices to see if they got rejected as well.

He thought it would affect me but instead I've placed it on my profile to show him I liked it (which was true, I liked the eyes).

Denis there are a lot of screen cap edits on FAC that are being placed in the story section, if it isn't allowed why isn't it being removed?

Isn't there a rule against tracing work that you didn't do and putting it up as a submission?

But that's not fair. They're not allowed to be submitted as artwork. But as stories, people say that these pictures are only edits, and not their actual artwork. If someone claims that it is their artwork when it obviously isn't, or posts it as artwork, then it should be given a warning before you delete, so that the artist or author can try and fix the problem beforehand.

A trace is a trace, the story section is strictly for writting anyways.

Erm . . . I'm not sure whether on not you'll reply to this (I doubt it as you're so busy) but I've been having a lot of problems submitting pictures the last few days. I've tried from two computers and have tried to submit them from a CD, floppy disk, and file saved on the computer. None of them works. Is it something wrong with the site, or just with me? If you could clear that up I'd be happy, but since you're likely very busy, it's no problem.

The ad's are what pay for fac, no ad's = no FAC.

If you are experiencing nudity or other inappropiate ads, don't just say there is, take a screencap or get the name of the ads and then denis might be able to do something. Also check for adware/spywhere on your PC.
